The staff were welcoming and accommodating for our late arrival. The view from our Executive room was lovely. Travelling with a companion with compromised walking ability the location was excellent- close to restaurants & waterfront board walk. Ramp at entrance assisted transition inside. Staff willingly carried luggage up the stairs - prior to travel we were aware there was no lift but bar staff were helpful in assisting which was appreciated. Meals in restaurant limited for vegetarians but otherwise very good, ( chef was willing to adapt and provide more than on the menu) Drinks reasonably priced. Will certainly stay again

Only suggestion would be that the steps at the entrance need to be re-highlighted especially the single step near the front door. The color scheme could do with an update in the hall ways- beach colors would enhance but there is nothing offensive. about current .

Clean, bright, right in the centre of town and lovely staff. Dinner at the bistro was nice and food/beverages were well priced. It was a great place to stay for such a good nightly rate. We walked along the waterfront after dinner which was pretty. We were on our way to Tasmania so only stayed overnight before getting on the road again, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay for longer next time.

Kettle is in the cupboard and you have to close the cupboard door to get in and out of the room. So when the kettle is hot (we drink lots of tea), the inside of the cupboard got wet. No lift so hauling stuff up to the rooms and back down was an effort after a long drive.

The staff at reception and other internal staff were lovely & helpful. We had our car break down on the day we were leaving and they were super supportive, couldn't do enough for us - thanks ladies!!

The first night the bistro was fine, with lovely views of the water and good food. However on the 2nd night the 2 kitchen staff were playing extremely inappropriate talk show content very loud (lucky there were no kids there) and when I complained they replaced that with repulsive lyrics in heavy music. We walked out as did the only other couple in the place what a waste of a good location!! no wonder it was empty

Being so close to the water and to all the shops was fantastic. The Staff were very friendly and professional. We didn't use the facilities, such as the restaurant and bar as we were too busy fishing the areas around Batemans bay.

The room we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I also booked a room with an ocean view and got one looking at a roof top. The room was clean and tidy and had all that we needed but the mattress on the bed was extremely old and the springs were flat and had it. And no, lm not a big person.

Location is everything no matter where and when one books accommodation. We had our own vehicle but the location meant that we could enjoy what the area nearby the hotel, including restaurants. We were blessed with fine weather so the view over the Clyde River towards the ocean was a bonus. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Ruby, who booked us in, recommended plenty of eating options. We couldn't fault her suggestions.

My one very small reservation about the room was that the rather noisy bathroom exhaust fan was on the same circuit as the light switch. I was a little conscious that an early hours visit to the bathroom may have disrupted the sleeping of neighbouring occupants.

Firstly, many thanks to Chrissie for her warm welcome and accommodation of our ever- changing arrival time. All staff were lovely, helpful and made us feel at home. We had two rooms and they were placed opposite each other which was very convenient. The rooms were large, very clean and, being upstairs, had a lovely outlook (one of them over the bay). After a very very long trip for our overseas party, it was a great place to have a shower, a bite to eat and a lovely night's sleep. The laundry facilities were very much appreciated as well! Mariners is right in the centre of town so most places (including the Boatshed!) were within walking distance. We could also park underneath the building. PS Update: Both rooms had a minibar and keycard access (I think I ticked the wrong boxes in the survey, sorry!

Can not fault this motel and its staff what so ever we had a terrible time getting to the motel as we broke down along the way what would usually be an hour an half trip turned into 8 hrs we finally checked in at 10pm the staff couldn't of been more happy to greet us at that time made us feel welcome and comfortable after quite a stressful day. The next day my son had a nrl gala day they were happy for us to have late checkout so we didn't have to cart our luggage around the whole day I was so thank full having a 6month old aswell u already have enough to lug around I actually can't wait to go back and have a night or 2 there and be able to relax and enjoy thank u so much for the hospitality a little goes a long way 😀

The room we stayed in was beautiful and the location of the hotel was great too. Loved the pool also.

Communication with the reception was SO difficult. Out of about 15 calls over a week period, they picked up once. However they did allow for an earlier check in, which was pre-arranged and the receptionist on the day had no idea about. So communication is really a downfall of this hotel.

The accommodation had a lovely view of the water. It was perfect to watch the sunrise over the water. The room was neat and tidy. There were a couple of drinks provided for free (2 cans of coke and 2 bottles of water), so that was nice. There was a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. There was undercover off street parking close to our room. So that was good.

We found the mattresses on the beds quite hard. There were lots of stairs to get up to our room. Which made it hard to get our suitcases and other things up to our room.

This was our second stay in a month and we were so happy that the Mariners could accommodate our booking. They even managed to locate a larger room for the bigger group and moved our belongings for us. As I have mentioned in the previous review, Mariners is right in the middle of Batemans Bay on the water and has lovely views. We could walk most places and enjoyed a drink at the bar at the end of the day. We can't speak highly enough of the wonderful and friendly staff.
