The room was clean and had everything There was milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a couple of breakfast options. Wheetbix and cornflakes! Not to mention a microwave and a few little lollies. And in the bathroom there were also earbuds and cotton balls. Just the little things made this stay great! We had a wedding across the road at the beachcomber and this accomodation was perfect. Check in and check out was easy. Great parking for our car. And the heater was Devine to keep the room warm when we slept! And this room was a quarter of the price of anything else around and was perfect. Very impressed!

They had 4 blackout curtains over the door. But the light would slightly get in I’m a fussy sleeper though. My partner didn’t notice at all

Very clean, welcoming, friendly, handy location, quiet position, very good value for money, very comfortable bed, thrilled to find the room had a microwave, cutlery, crockery and a decent-sized small fridge. It felt like a lot of care and thought had gone into making the room as good as could be given the age of the building and bathroom. Better than expected. Will stay there again sometime.

It's not a flash place, very basic and pretty dated but that is reflected in the price and I was okay with it as it is. I was kind of glad it was basic and unpretentious. It was a relief, in a way! Good old fashioned hospitality. Clean, comfortable, affordable.

A great location next to eateries and a beautiful fresh room that’s clearly had some thought and love put into it when they’ve updated it, with extras you wouldn’t expect that are welcome and convenient for a traveller. It has good hot water and pressure, comfortable bed and pillows, good aircon and plenty of milk in the fridge along with a nice mix of biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. This place goes over an above and is a credit to the manager and cleaning staff.

Comfortable bed, clean room & very clean bathroom. The kitchen area was also very tidy, I liked the variety of tea/coffee/hot chocolate & the little pack of cookies were nice to have with our coffee. We appreciated that the Air conditioner been switched on for us before our arrival, so the room was lovely & cool.

Only thing I thought was the air conditioner was abit loud when we were trying to sleep. So we just turned it off.

Bed was comfortable. Unlike almost everywhere else we stayed, this motel was very generous with its range of toiletries (they have thought of almost every conceivable scenario) and the number of items supplied eg, four cakes of soap rather than the single one provided in most places.

Once we checked in and scored a parking spot we were not game to take the car out again as there was insufficient parking.

ITEMS WERE EXCEPTIONAL IN WHAT WAS SUPPLIED TO THE ROOM. LITTLE THINGS LIKE MENTOS, BANDAIDS, BOTTLE WATER, FACE WASHER, SMALL BOTTLES OF HANDWASH, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, EXTRA TOILET PAPER ROLLS, NON SLIP FLOOR, MICROWAVE, GLASS CUPS ALREADY IN THE FRIDGE.

THE CHAIRS AT THE DINING TABLE WERE LOWER AND NEEDED A PILLOW TO LIFT ONE HIGHER AND THE PHONE BOOK WAS OUT OF DATE AND THE BOTTLED WATER COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FRIDGE, OTHERWISE ALL WAS WELL.

Being right across the road from Beachcomber Club - very loud music until around midnight. I didn't realise how close it was to the motel - my fault really for not investigating the area better.

Missing Toukley motel already after coming back a few days. It was our third time stay here, great friendly people, good location beaches only 5-10mins. Pub is in front of the hotel like 2 mins away, you can grab a drink or hangout anytime. Teresa care taker was super nice. We watched firework together just right in front of the motel. You must visit Toukley motel and explore the sour rounding. Been 3 times already never disappointed. Toukley motel will always be our first choice for a get away

Clean and comfortable air conditioned motel room with ensuite and onsite parking. Convenient locale in easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and lake front. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good value for money.

Decor was dated, but very clean. Located on busy road with some road noise evident while room door was open.

We new it was a budget motel and had booked it as a base to go cycling in the area, we found it was clean and tidy, the rooms were much bigger than expected and they were well equipped with fridge, aircon, kitchen utensils etc. We were on the rear side of the motel away from the road, slept well. It is well located and we were able to walk to local restaurants each evening allowing us to enjoy a nice wine with dinner and not have to drive afterwards.
