Location was great as it was very easy to get around locally Room was very tidy and a good size with a great bed View was pleasant, next time think I would like at a view towards inlet to beach to utilise the view more

I thought being the busy period the pool and pool area could have been presented better. There are tiles missing from inside the pool, pavers out the outside of pool need fixing and weeds removed, gardens need weeding and general area needed more seating

Great location and proximity

The bed was a little more firm than usually preferable but not enough concern to negate the overall benefit of the room and the location for our stay. The onsite car parking has the tightest turning circle required in order to navigate up and down successfully, it is possible but requires extreme caution and may require some vehicles to actually reverse and re-approach the angle of the entry to the turn when traversing up the ramps to the top level where hotel parking is located, not many spots so be cautious not to park in marked private bays unrelated to the hotel.

Aside from great location where everything is there and no need to drive - we loved the Oaks! Safe, clean, accommodating staffs and great room too. Free parking as well in front of the hotel during our 4 day stay! We got scared after reading all previous reviews because they were all negative BUT it seems like they booked to a different hotel lol Our whole family really loved the place especially my son! Free parking, helpful staffs, big room for a studio type, clean room, complete amenities in the room, Safe, great pool plus perfect location where play area is just outside the hotel including Carousel Ferris wheel etc and pelican feeding too! We surely recommend this hotel!

Nothing to be honest

Beautiful view, nice just relaxing on the balcony watching the sun come up, people fishing on the water. Very roomy has all the facilities of a long stay, including your own washing machine and dryer. Perfect location would love to take my grandchildren next time the area has so many wonderful play areas for children.

The room is outdated but not miserable, still acceptable. Stepping into the shower over a very deep bath was a challenge, at least there are fitted rails provided for support, when you are already physically challenged, I expect it to be difficult/annoying for anyone.

Lovely location to spend with family. We were lucky enough to face the pool so we can watch the kids play from our balcony and a large kids playground on the other side of the complex. Enough cafes and eateries nearby. Right between the ocean and lake and enjoyed the walks on either side. Th room had everything we needed and it made all the difference with personal laundry faculties, pots and pans and a toaster. The decor was fine but most importantly it was comfortable.

The premises is shared by long term residents which was a little awkward.

Room was very clean except for a couple of minor things which was exceptable and could attend to ourselves,toilet and bath area was absolutely spotless which is a must and prority to us,lovely view,bed was pretty comfortable,pillows were awesome to sleep on great location, room was available quicker then arranged everything was available to use if we required great and awesome room for the price we paid.

No telephone to communicate with office in case of emergency as we had 2 fire alarm incidents and had to go down stairs to find a foyer full of people to be 1 incident a false alarm and someone cooked in there unit which set the fire alarm of and had to evacuate,no fans in the room as the bedroom area as the cold air from the aircon dont reach there,bath a little to high for the wife who has a nee injury and had to lift her in the shower.

the apartment was fine, large, quiet, ( i did not cars from the parking garage across ) clean, washing machine the man at the desk showed me the room before i paid , that was nice so i could make sure all was good

i did not like i checked in late, about 8pm ? i have stayed in at least 25 places in australia in the last months, everyone offers me late check out, so im used to it i asked, is it possible to stay past 10 am since im checking in later, he said no, there would be a 20 AUD / hour charge that just rubbed me the wrong way. I then asked where to park, that is 20 AUD as well, not a good start, but then he said its free across the street so that is fine- i undestand its not his doing and i guess upper management but bad business, i would have stayed longer but i do not like policies like that

I had beautiful waterfront views. There were many eating areas just outside the front door. They had room service (I didn’t use). Once I was there I didn’t get back in my car. It there were great places to drive to if I chose too.

As a shorter person, I found it awkward to get into the shower. They had a bath/shower combination. It was a deep bath so extra height to have to get over. However, this isn’t enough to stop me staying there again. I have every intention of doing so

Amazing location, the loft was a great size and had amazing balcony views of the beach. We selected this place due to location of where we were going to attend an event. It was only a two minute walk to the event which was amazing. The pool and spa were great to cool down and relax. Staff were lovely and helpful. The place was great for what we needed. We will be back!!

We had trouble with the Aircon. It stopped turning on. The rooms are a bit outdated and the loft squeaks as you walk across. We were unable to use the gym as it was currently undergoing renovations

The location is great. The bed is comfy. The shower is awesome. The view amazing. The free car park opposite the motel is great.

The kitchenette is in the wrong place. You have to have the door to your room open and the balcony door open while you cook so you don’t set the alarms of. This cools the room right down and it takes a bit of time to warm the room up. There is no breakfast facility which is a shame. We weren’t the only people looking for a place to have early breakfast.
