Loved the pool area, and the hot tub.

We were there at Australia Day long weekend. The cafeteria was closing as we arrived - told by staff cleaning up - so we decided to have breakfast there the following morning instead. However, when we got up early to have the breakfast, the cafe was closed due to public holiday. This was not communicated to us by staff on the previous day nor was there anywhere a sign that this was the case... Very annoying trying to make alternative arrangements on a grumbling stomach on a public holiday, not knowing the area...

Stayed in upstairs room with balcony which was spacious and had a nice view over lawn and pool area. The restaurant was excellent with great food. The cafe was good - a little pricey for the serving sizes but still okay. This is a great place to base if visiting the area. Staff were very friendly from reception to cleaners - and servers at the cafe and restaurant. Would stay again.

The air conditioner was not strong enough for the room size. The bathroom needed some minor maintenance - a squirting shower. I would like to see more eco-friendly delivery of soaps/shampoos instead of small individual plastic bottles.

Just got back from a great stay at Quarters! The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. My room and bathroom were seriously spacious – I could have hosted a yoga class in there! And the beds are comfy. I'm definitely planning on coming back for another visit soon. Thanks for the awesome experience! The kids liked the pool and the Spa

Nothing Maybe the location is not too close to busy areas, but this is something I was fully aware of when I made the booking. It's just about 10 to 15 mins drive to the entrance and the beautiful beaches

The room was incredibly spacious. The bed was a dream— incredibly cozy, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. What truly made my stay exceptional, though, was the staff. They were always super helpful, providing recommendations and assistance with a smile. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to return!

I was staying near reception, was quite loud in the early morning with family and kids walking past and making noises.

we only stayed for one night, but what they have done with this motel is impressive. Thoughtful room design very spacious and light with a beautiful selections. The staff were friendly from the get go and messaging us in the lead up to our day. Everything was easy. The cafe was delightful and just the whole place is a great place to stay. We will be back. Well done to the management and staff for running such a fantastic place.

Dear Quarters Ascend Forresters Beach, Thank you for having us !!! We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at your hotel. We’ve already recommended you to family and friends. Our room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Our King bed was so comfortable !!! We had the added protection and privacy of your large lilli pilli tree to block the direct heat and sun from our room and verandah where we enjoyed a late wine and morning cuppa. Everything at the hotel was also really well maintained and freshly painted. Ben was extremely helpful both when we arrived and then after we left and had forgotten things in the fridge. We loved the resort style walk in pool and our brekky from the Pantry café was delicious. The hotel is in a great location, being very central to everything. We look forward to seeing you again soon !!!

There was nothing we didn't like

This was a super fun and sweet little hotel. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and as described (not the most modern in some ways but perfectly fine!) My travel group loved the pool and garden areas. There was plenty of space for families to congregate for a little outdoor dinner or yard games, and it felt very safe and communal.

My only dislike was the lack of a mini fridge in the room (just a chiller), so we couldn't keep food properly cold.

Staff was friendly, the facilities were clean and they clean the rooms daily and even restocked our little water bottles. The bathroom size is amazing and the pool area is a great space to relax. The shower pressure in the rooms is great too and they upgraded the TVs. The location is great if you are able to go around by car.

The aircon in our room wasn't really working. We requested the same room as last year but were placed in a different one despite their confirmation. This wasn't an issue that we felt like raising with reception but we will have to say the aircon worked less well. Nothing to do with the place but plan ahead your dinner as there are only 3 mediocre places around. The next area over is only a 10-min drive and it offers everything you need.

Loved our last minute getaway! The motel is very cool and funky. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. We could check in an hour earlier and the room was spotless. We loved the pool and was perfect for all the family including our 3 year old. Cafe, bar and restaurant on site. Location is also amazing. 10 mins to Terrigal, 15 mins to the entrance and 8 mins to Shelly beach.

There were noisy girls carrying on outside but finally they went away I really wanted a spa but the time for opening says 9am when checkout time is 10am So i missed out on the spa which really did annoy me. Then she told me that she does not lock the pool at all so I could have gone and had that spa that I really wanted and was one of the reasons I stayed there. They should not be so inflexible with pool opening times as having a spa at 9 and checking out at 10 is too close when I was meeting someone for breakfast at 10am
