The location was good, handy for the ferry & busses. It was walkable to Palm beach & the lighthouse. The breakfast was good, fresh fruit, yogurt & granola. Tea, coffee & juice. The restaurant food was absolutely excellent.

There wasn't much room for luggage to be stored. The insides of the milk & juice storage bottle tops, needed renewing or cleaning. More room for toiletry bags in the bathroom would have been useful.

Terrific care taken by staff to make sure everything ran smoothly. The breakfast items available and the outdoor area and lounge area were just superb. A great area to sit with our family group and in fact chat to others. A very convivial atmosphere was fostered though the visual set up and dedicated staff allocated to the area.

There is some traffic noise which is to be expected due to the road but once windows were closed, no issue and once the traffic quietened the windows could be opened. However, the position was terrific.

Beautiful property, the hostess was amazing and so friendly , simple but delicious continental breakfast of homemade incredible muesli, banana bread, muffins, coffees, juices, there was also fruit but it was gone by the time we turned up so replen on this could have been nice. Rooms are on the smaller side as it is and older converted house but still done beautifully loved the breakout spaces and zen vibe upstairs for the accommodation even though downstairs there was a great vibe restaurant and bar area. Friday night but the restaurant was still done by 10pm so it didn’t impact sound or sleep - just a delightful vibe! The sunset across the road was just magical

Barrenjoey House has always prided itself on its unofficial licence to imbue guests with a unique experience of complete relaxation in an informal, but at the same time, a very smart, unpretentious and beautifully furnished environment. The staff are always very professional, courteous and friendly, it's just such a wonderfully comfortable place to visit.

There's nothing to not like, but perhaps - as with everything - the price could be lower!

The staff were amazing! So nice to get good service from all staff. The decor and styling was lovely. The food was a little pricey but standard was very high and very delicious.

No parking on site, council car park across the road but busy most of the time so hard to get a park. The room size was very small. Not enough floor space to put 2 suitcases down. Feels like whenever you book on Booking.com you get the dregs so far as accommodation.

Great location, gorgeous interiors, very comfortable and homely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the welcome drink was a great touch. We spent a lot of time in the communal area, it was so relaxing and felt like we were on holiday. The complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice, granola, yoghurt, bread and muffins was a nice inclusion, again enjoyed out in the communal area. We had a delicious dinner downstairs in the restaurant, would highly recommend. Our waiter, Jack, was fantastic. Overall a beautiful stay, we left Palm Beach very relaxed and like we had been away on holiday. We will definitely be back!

Finding parking close by was an issue, we managed to find a 12hour park about 500m down the road which was fine for us but not ideal. The TV in our room didn’t work but this didn’t affect our stay.

Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable bed, lots of well thought out items in the room. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, in the restaurant/bar as well as upstairs in the guest area. Great communal space for guests to relax in. Loved the location, perfect for us wanting to chill out and relax. We arrived later than expected due to a delayed flight, the kitchen was closing but were able to provide us with a cheeseboard and drinks, just what we needed. The restaurant was great, cocktails and food delicious, would definitely stay again if I'm in this part of the world.

Could have been slightly more available at breakfast but if something more substantial is required then you can walk to their bakery.

Delightful room. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were all fantastic and I got a text message saying when the room was ready (which was about 2 hours earlier than expected) There was also a lovely welcome card on the bed.

Expensive mini bar (but that's pretty standard these days)

Its proximity to Palm Beach. The room was delightful and the unexpected pantry was well-stocked.. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast.

My only criticism was the lack of hot water on arrival, but this was rectified very quickly.

Fabulous location opposite Pittwater, beautiful boutique style accommodation with gorgeous furnishings, private guest lounge & covered patio area, and lovely concierges who attended to our every need. Warm and friendly staff often going above and beyond to deliver, and the menu & food are simply outstanding. We were lucky enough to dine on the sumptuous NYE dinner and then retire to our room post celebrations - now that's being spoilt! The room some would consider small, was to us a lovely space with a view to Pittwater ( lovely to hear the waves on the beach during the night), well appointed, comfortable and continued the boutique feel. The layers & layers of considered styling detail all added to a wonderful experience. We'd be back in a heart beat!
