We loved the location as we were in town for an NRL match, so only 5 mins via Uber to Brookvale Oval. The beds were really comfy and clean, the shower had amazing water pressure and the bathroom itself was also clean and all working. The room was actually quite spacious and there were good blinds to block out any light. We were quite warm and didn't need the heater on. Great value for money if you're after a short stay.

It was a bit dusty with some cobwebs and things but that was mainly in higher places and didn't really get on any of the beds etc., not a deal brealer but the only sink was in the bathroom if you wanted to refill the kettle or the waterbottle it was tricky. The walls were somewhat thin so we could hear a little of what was going on in other rooms and at one point during the night it sounded like a heavy sprinkler or tap was being turned on and off?

Bedside light was poor and couldn't read in bed... other lighting was very good

First room we had the toilet wouldn't flush properly... second room we had, both the door and windows vibrated with any cars or wind keeping us wake so we had to keep putting brochures in the door Jam to stop vibrations...windows weren't so easy to control...

Nice big rooms with comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, big bistro and pub area with space for kids to run around and all those coin wasting games they love to play 😂.

From the outside I thought I’d made a huge mistake, but I was pleasantly surprised once getting into the room. Access is a little confusing as you need to enter inside the pub for hotel reception and this tired mumma found it difficult to work out. The floors looked clean but I had to wipe up a water spill and it left large dirt marks on the towel.

I like the fact that we received a warm welcome and that the staff were helpful. The room itself was quiet and we could park right in front of our room. Loved the check out procedure. Just leave the key on the bench and close the door behind you.

The fact that there was no top sheet on the bed was annoying. It felt weird. The only other thing that bothered me was that I was charged the full amount to my credit card a few days before we arrived.

Friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. The room was good value for an overnight stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We ate at the bistro in the adjoining hotel and the food was also great value for money and very tasty. 10% off for staying at the motel was an added bonus :-)

Some milk in the fridge for a morning coffee and maybe a shower cap would be nice.

The bathroom reminder me of my beautiful house in Willoughby. It was also very cozy, it Reminder me being somewhere out of nowhere, like being in the snowing mountains, very very peaceful & friendly neighbours. And helpful staff & friendly staff.

The bathroom needed more safety bars especially for the elderly. Especially near the toilet area & the shower area. Otherwise it was perfect.

Generous sized room - Queen bed and a single bed. Quiet at night despite being part of a pub / bistro. Good location surrounded by parkland. Good allocated parking.

Carpark potholed - but this does not affect the quality of the stay - if you drive a low slung car, go slow.

Staff friendly & helpful. Room old fashioned but simple & adequate as described. Good to have microwave & fridge.

Crockery & cutlery not provided, despite microwave & fridge. As another reviewer commented, I had to go in search of bar staff to get a spoon and bowl late at night as I had an early morning appointment.

Great location near the beaches, great value for money, quiet, rooms were a good size and were freshly renovated.

Nothing particularly problematic. Sink is quite small so can be difficult filling drink bottles/kettle. One of the rooms smelled strongly of air freshener but opening the windows for a little bit cleared that up.

Close to the places we need to go. Room was clean. Room and restaurant price were reasonably marked. Meet bunches of nice people during our last stay, from gentlemen who helped me to find reception to a nice beautiful young lady who stayed next door. Good experience.

Bit confused of the entry to the hotel reception. Parked under big trees and had leaves covered all over our car in the morning.
