Your staff team on entry, at reception and for breakfast were all so welcoming, engaging and very friendly. You had staff from all over the world, which was awesome.

Whilst the double queen bed Seaview room was beautiful - Room 726, the cost is very expensive as we had just spent 5 nights in main South Beach Miami in a beautiful boutique hotel 120m from the main Miami beach, which was stunning, modern, beautifully furnished with a seaview and only $AUD415 a night. Your room was almost double that and after living in French's Forest and having Manly as our local beach for 19 years, these prices are very high in comparison to the USA and Europe.

First impressions were very good on arrival. Our room was nice enough, although bathroom was dated, located in a great area across road from the beach.

The room was supposed to have had a Nespresso machine but because they didn’t have enough to go around the occupied rooms we didn’t receive until a day before we left. We were there 4 nights. Each time I rang or asked for one, I was assured I would receive. I think I asked about 6 times before I was told the reason that there weren’t enough and they needed someone to check out. Given the minimal cost and the expense of the room, I would have expected someone to just go buy one, instead of it becoming an issue for us with the lack of communication. Or an easy fix the staff should have given us free coffee vouchers for the restaurant downstairs for the days we were without one, then we would have come away with a better impression.

Our week long stay at the Manly Pacific was exceptional as ALL staff could not do enough for us. I had escorted my 91 year old mother to Sydney for possibly/probably her final international trip and everyone made her feel special and treated her "like royalty". The few times when I had to leave her alone in the room, both reception and concierge checked on her regularly, ensuring she was safe and well, and when she did venture to the hotel entrance/lounge area or dining room on her own, again she was given the best of attention. Also our 3rd floor room, overlooking the beach was beautifully presented, meticulously clean and tidy, and again the cleaning staff so respectful of my mother needing time for rest. I also couldn't believe how quiet/sound proofed the room was, with no noise at night. I would happily recommend and definitely will return to stay in the future.

Nothing - everything was way better than expected.

The hotel's location overlooking Manly beach and a short walk from Shelly beach is amazing. The rooftop swimming pool is a great facility and gave excellent views over Manly beach. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. We were travelling as a family of 4 and the room was just the right size with two queen beds. The selection and quality of the breakfast is one of the best I have experienced.

It wasn't a big surprise but the taxi from the airport was 150 ASD. On our return to the airport we booked through the hotel's preferred provided and got a flat rate of 118 ASD which is about right for a 40min transfer.

The location adjacent to Manly beach was excellent, the gym facilities were very good, the staff were very helpful particularly in accommodating us with a late check out on all three rooms

the air condition for our room on the 3rd floor was hot at night which made sleeping difficult, maintenance staff said that there was a problem and they were investigating it, unfortunately the fault persisted for all of the 6 night stay. When i enquired about the fact that the rooms were not furnished with drawer cabinets i was informed that it was a style feature, it made our 6 night stay more difficult to manage living out of suitcases

Lovely refurb since we last stayed. Location is amazing of course, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Big breakfast with lots of options and kids U12 are free. Pool is fab with great views. Full service hotel, with lovely products in the bathroom.

Need some pool umbrellas on the roof as it’s extremely hot and we needed shade to stay up there comfortably. It’s a great space and pool water is lovely, but very easy to get sunburned. Little sunscreen samples at the front desk would also have been great (we forgot ours and had to buy more, not a biggie).

The room and hotel overall fantastic! We spent 2 nights there but we could have happily stayed for a week as it had so much to offer. The bar was lively and staff made great cocktails, surrounding restaurants were popular. Mini bar in the room was exceptional, room itself was spacious and comfortable. We'll be back!

Wasn't much not to like! Probably the fact that I didn't choose a room with an ocean view as the weather was spectacular! Next time 😉

My family and i have frequently stayed at this hotel and it is one of my favourites based purely on it's location, comfort of rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms are large with comfy beds and very quiet you rarely her any noise form other travellers. Location is amazing with Manly beach situated directly in front of the hotel. Ferry is only a short 15 minute walk from the hotel through Manly Corso.

Service although very good still felt like there was something missing whether it was a lack of genuine friendliness or professionalism i'm not quite sure what missed the mark. Just something felt like it could be improved.

The location

The Bistro was disappointing (we ate dinner on the 2/10/23)- the food was very average for the price - definitely no 'French flair' noticeable as stated on the website -also, they were out of Creme Brulee which was disappointing and instead serve a half-frozen chocolate tart. We arrived at about 8 o'clock and the waiters were more preoccupied with setting up for breakfast than attending to customers' dining needs. Our room was opposite the cleaners/service facilities room and was a little noisy at times. The main room was very clean, however the shower in the bathroom had mould/gunk around the edges of the shower screen door.

On arrival, the concierge greeted us and couldn’t have been any more helpful and accommodating. This service continued throughout our stay. The room and all other areas were clean. Breakfast every day was superb. I’d highly recommend staying at the Manly Pacific.

These are only minor points and didn’t affect our stay, but worth the management noting our views. There was an occasional drain smell coming from the floor drain in the bathroom. In the pool area, the air conditioning units can be a bit noisy.
