Your staff team on entry, at reception and for breakfast were all so welcoming, engaging and very friendly. You had staff from all over the world, which was awesome.

Whilst the double queen bed Seaview room was beautiful - Room 726, the cost is very expensive as we had just spent 5 nights in main South Beach Miami in a beautiful boutique hotel 120m from the main Miami beach, which was stunning, modern, beautifully furnished with a seaview and only $AUD415 a night. Your room was almost double that and after living in French's Forest and having Manly as our local beach for 19 years, these prices are very high in comparison to the USA and Europe.

We stayed at the Manly Pacific on our wedding night, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so celebrated with thoughtful touches in our room and a warm, genuine welcome that instantly set the tone for our stay. The service was exceptional—every interaction felt personal, and the team truly went above and beyond to make our first night as a married couple unforgettable. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had, with outstanding variety and quality, and the cocktails were crafted to perfection. Being upgraded was an unexpected and amazing surprise that made our stay even more special. The Manly Pacific will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Manly.

First impressions were very good on arrival. Our room was nice enough, although bathroom was dated, located in a great area across road from the beach.

The room was supposed to have had a Nespresso machine but because they didn’t have enough to go around the occupied rooms we didn’t receive until a day before we left. We were there 4 nights. Each time I rang or asked for one, I was assured I would receive. I think I asked about 6 times before I was told the reason that there weren’t enough and they needed someone to check out. Given the minimal cost and the expense of the room, I would have expected someone to just go buy one, instead of it becoming an issue for us with the lack of communication. Or an easy fix the staff should have given us free coffee vouchers for the restaurant downstairs for the days we were without one, then we would have come away with a better impression.

The hotel's location overlooking Manly beach and a short walk from Shelly beach is amazing. The rooftop swimming pool is a great facility and gave excellent views over Manly beach. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. We were travelling as a family of 4 and the room was just the right size with two queen beds. The selection and quality of the breakfast is one of the best I have experienced.

It wasn't a big surprise but the taxi from the airport was 150 ASD. On our return to the airport we booked through the hotel's preferred provided and got a flat rate of 118 ASD which is about right for a 40min transfer.

Our week long stay at the Manly Pacific was exceptional as ALL staff could not do enough for us. I had escorted my 91 year old mother to Sydney for possibly/probably her final international trip and everyone made her feel special and treated her "like royalty". The few times when I had to leave her alone in the room, both reception and concierge checked on her regularly, ensuring she was safe and well, and when she did venture to the hotel entrance/lounge area or dining room on her own, again she was given the best of attention. Also our 3rd floor room, overlooking the beach was beautifully presented, meticulously clean and tidy, and again the cleaning staff so respectful of my mother needing time for rest. I also couldn't believe how quiet/sound proofed the room was, with no noise at night. I would happily recommend and definitely will return to stay in the future.

Nothing - everything was way better than expected.

The Manly Pacific is a fantastic hotel in an incredible location overlooking Manly beach. The hotel strikes the balance of luxury, opulence and chill with everything that you could need for a short or long stay in Manly. The breakfast buffet is a good option with early morning start times so that you can make the most of the sunrise. Plenty of amenities for kids (games room, etc) if you need it and the rooftop pool was larger than I had expected and we spent a good amount of time up there with beautiful views of the ocean!

The location adjacent to Manly beach was excellent, the gym facilities were very good, the staff were very helpful particularly in accommodating us with a late check out on all three rooms

the air condition for our room on the 3rd floor was hot at night which made sleeping difficult, maintenance staff said that there was a problem and they were investigating it, unfortunately the fault persisted for all of the 6 night stay. When i enquired about the fact that the rooms were not furnished with drawer cabinets i was informed that it was a style feature, it made our 6 night stay more difficult to manage living out of suitcases

Lovely refurb since we last stayed. Location is amazing of course, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Big breakfast with lots of options and kids U12 are free. Pool is fab with great views. Full service hotel, with lovely products in the bathroom.

Need some pool umbrellas on the roof as it’s extremely hot and we needed shade to stay up there comfortably. It’s a great space and pool water is lovely, but very easy to get sunburned. Little sunscreen samples at the front desk would also have been great (we forgot ours and had to buy more, not a biggie).

Breakfast was good but breakfast staff were very slow and uninterested. The chef’s were very good though. The cocktail bar was great and the Italian bar manager was exceptional, super friendly and knowledgeable, he made some great cocktails that were both on and off the menu for us.

Breakfast room waiting staff, especially the ones wearing black uniforms were grumpy and slow….Not a good look for the place as all other staff were great.

The room and hotel overall fantastic! We spent 2 nights there but we could have happily stayed for a week as it had so much to offer. The bar was lively and staff made great cocktails, surrounding restaurants were popular. Mini bar in the room was exceptional, room itself was spacious and comfortable. We'll be back!

Wasn't much not to like! Probably the fact that I didn't choose a room with an ocean view as the weather was spectacular! Next time 😉
