Comfortable bed, quiet and had a lovely little balcony. Good location for train and wharf for Riverboat Postal boat and other ferries. Hotel across the road for meals.

Unfortunately Footpath very high, and steep steps leading up to property, so people with mobility problems would probably have to rule it out. No screens on sliding doors, so had to keep closed to keep out mosquitos in the evening. Also coloured lights along the back deck need to be turned off at night, as it meant you had to close curtains.

Stayed here 2 nights as convenient for the post boat. The room layout was quirky and did look out on to the Main Street but as we were only here for 2 nights it was not an issue. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The hotel across the road served good food and worth a visit. Although no one site parking this was not an issue as plenty of street parking nearby.

Controlling the temperature of the shower was a bit challenging

The room was quite large and roomy. Balcony was good for afternoon drinks with the company of a cockatoo who liked biscuits! Room was well equipped with tea/coffee supplies, biscuits (Arnotts) and bathroom supplies. King size bed, large tv with video player. Back of motel so was very quiet.

Unfortunately all the steps from street to motel and then up to room were a bit of a challenge for me. No off street parking so left the car on the street outside motel.

We had a huge room which incorporated the king size bed, a sitting area, and a small dining nook. The room was bright and welcoming with a number of little touches. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom, which was wonderful. Good communication with the motel hosts. We enjoyed our stay again (this was the second visit) and look forward to another occasion.

There are 2 basins in the bathroom, which I'm sure would suit some couples. For us, they took up a lot of room so were weren't able to spread out our toiletries. Not a big deal for an overnight stay, though.

The facilities were great, for example Google TV, spa bath and microwave. Those spa baths would be just the thing after a long day bushwalking or exploring the many attractions in this region.

The wood panelling decor of my room alongside weak lighting made the atmosphere dark and gloomy at night.

Close proximity to train station, as we were public transport travellers. Staff friendly and helpful. Opposite the local hotel which was handy for meals. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Nice to receive biscuits to have with a cuppa. Great to get the room serviced each day.

Shower was leaking and the wardrobe was used to house the fridge, so no place to hang clothes.

Perfect location to catch the River Boat Ferry, have dinner at the pub and breakfast at the Brooklyn Corner Cafe. Great host. Our own bathroom. Also liked the quiet Air Conditioning and well stocked kitchen facilities including microwave, air fryer, toaster and jug.

Ambrose room was great but one of our party was older and had trouble with the last section of stairs which had no handrail.

Fabulous location, close to marina and dining. Large, spacious room with comfortable bed and lovely spa bath. Plunger coffee was a very nice touch!

Street parking - normally not a problem but due to recovering from an injury it was a little more inconvenient than expected. Must admit, did not even consider this when booking. Persons with mobility issues should be aware that kerbside stairs may be challenging.

Room was actually being renovated, however, was in great condition, just missing a shower door, but no problem at all, loved the location, straight opposite pub, which had nice meal, just near coffee shop

Not that it mattered to us, but possibly if street was busy not sure where the parking was, we just parked on street

We arrived in the dark in the rain and were helped to find a street park, given umbrellas and shown to our room. Very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was well appointed, the ground coffee was lovely, had everything needed for a great stay. Was a very handy stop on our way into Sydney. Would definitely stay there when we are back in the area to explore
