Great value, affordable rates. Clean rooms, with high ceilings so they feel quite spacious. Extremely good water pressure in the shower! Rooms are also equipped with a microwave and there is a shared communal kitchen available and BBQ if you need it. Big new TV in room and new reverse cycle aircon. Easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants or up to the diggers club. Plus a nice stroll down to the lake. They are also pet friendly which is a plus. You just need to let them know. They will allocate a pet friendly room. There is a small extra charge to bring a pet which was reasonable. The rooms were so clean and smelling fresh, no sign of any pet having been in there. We had a great weekend there and would stay again.

No issues really. Curtains could have blocked the outside light a bit better but it didn't affect my sleep.

The rooms were spacious and very clean.....all 4 of them! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was just the right size for tea and coffee making. The bathroom was big enough, with several towel hooks. The car was able to be parked right outside the unit. The guest kitchen had everything needed to cook breakfast, lunch and tea.

The shower curtain.....we are not used to them and forgot to check how much water was flowing onto the floor! My husband wet the entire floor. I was forewarned and didn't spill a drop.

A Family Stay That Was Both Insightful and… Well, Let’s Say Memorable! ... OUR family stay at this charming hotel was as enlightening as it was enjoyable. As any seasoned traveler with a small army of grandchildren knows, you quickly learn that the term “vacation” is relative. While our room didn’t have a kitchenette (clearly, they hadn’t heard about my attempts to recreate a Michelin star meal with limited resources), the communal kitchen was more than enough to whip up a feast worthy of feeding my little village of beasts. ... WE also had the luxury of our own private pool, which was perfect for the water-rats (aka grandkids). The hotel is located near the beach, so it felt as though we were the only family using the pool, even though I suspect this wasn't the case. Not that I’m complaining – it was peaceful and tranquil, just like a pool should be… unless you're trying to get the little ones to actually leave. After a day of chaos, the pool’s bubbles did wonders for my aching muscles, and I’m convinced it’s more therapeutic than any spa treatment! ... NOW, let’s talk about the grandkids. They’re absolute angels (well, while sleeping), the moment they wake up, they transform into sensory-seeking hurricanes with the energy of a thousand suns. The "masks of autism" come on as soon as their eyes open, and their sensory beacons are firing on all cylinders. So, to avoid making any enemies before I even had a chance to say hello, our lovely hosts kindly upgraded our room to a location better suited for our hell-beast water rats. It was so thoughtful, and I don’t know if they’re saints or just well-seasoned hotel hosts. Either way, I appreciated it. ..HUGE thanks to the team for their down-to-earth hospitality.

The room was comfortable and clean. The beds were excellent. The shower was hot and extremely strong I wish I had the water pressure at home. On-site parking was good. Great choice of local restaurants and takeaways some do deliveries also. We were made very welcome with our small pet dog.

Toilet paper was a cheapie. I'm not talking about this motel, but I got sick of all the roundabouts, so many that I lost count from the Motorway.

The staff member at reception was truly wonderful and very friendly. The motel is older, so not very modern. Having said that, it was very clean, had everything we needed. The shower, which I think is I'mportant in any motel room, was absolutely awesome! Very hot, good pressure.

The room has numerous small lights around the place. Having said that, it's not well lit. The lights all have individual switches, not one master switch. You have to turn on about eight individual switches to get the room well lit.

We I had a great overnight stay at this lovely motel. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful—nothing was too much trouble. I also appreciated how easy the check-in and check-out process was, making the whole experience hassle-free. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

Cheap & cheerful. Great location. Staff lovely & friendly. Suited our needs of a bed & shower for the night. We generally don't stay in places like this but left our booking til too late & had to grab what we could get.

Paper thin walls. The guests in both adjacent rooms had their TVs blaring. One until nearly midnight. I guess they didn't realise that it was so loud that it kept us awake so if you stay here please be considerate of your neighbours & turn the TV down as the walls are very thin. We even heard one person snoring. Also the curtains did not fully close. The curtain rings kept getting snagged on the rod so a fair bit of light came in.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was very clean comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, making my visit truly relaxing. What stood out even more was the exceptional hospitality—the manager was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their professionalism and kindness made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well-run accommodation with outstanding service.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the furniture has been updated, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and the hot water was very hot. They gave us fresh milk for tea and coffee when we checked in. The motel wasn't full so they made sure there were empty rooms between everyone. We were a few minutes walk from the Diggers Club and there's an Indian restaurant on the street right next door.

It's an older motel but really well maintained. Some people might find it difficult to stop into the shower.
