Clean rooms, easy key drop, very easy to enter and exit, great location in the heart of the township.

Club air-conditioner compressors that are located on the roof of the hotel and next to our window in room 14, which kept switching on/off throughout the night. Obviously this is necessary to run cooling for the club. It wouldn't deter me from coming back, but next time I'll bring small ear plugs. For some people, the hum wouldn't bother them, but for people who like it whisper quiet, it may be a problem. At the end of the day, it's all good because i wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal for the little price I paid and will come back. Secondly, I wasn't given the WiFi password, I had to query the management. By the time I got the answer (early next day) it was time to checkout.

This might just be a 'hotel on top of a hotel' kind of place, but I think this might be the best of the lot. Kept impressively clean, including the common bathroom, a plush bed, good wifi to boot, and it's also pretty quiet even WITH the bar downstairs! Staff were incredibly helpful as well, and I can't say I found anything too wrong with this place, especially if you are just stopping for the night on a road trip down and need somewhere decently priced to stay!

Apart from there only being stairs up to the room (though there may have been a lift I missed), I honestly can't find much wrong! Maybe look elsewhere if you want a private bathroom, but this is a seriously minor nitpick on what is a great hotel!

Location, cleanliness, modern and clean bathrooms. Modern bar and dining facilities. Value for money. Noise level from the music downstairs was hardly noticeable in our room.

Having to suddenly leave after only one night of our two night booking. As members of the NSW Scouts Air Activity Centre at Camden airport we flew the Activity Centre aircraft to Warnervale airport on the Friday afternoon to host an aviation weekend for the local Scouts and Cubs. The weather on Saturday was fabulous and, over the course of the day, we flew 51 Scouts and Cubs from Warnervale airport right around the perimeter of Tuggerah Lake. Unfortunately the weather forecast for Sunday was for high winds so, for safety reasons, we had to cancel the Sunday events and return to Camden late Saturday afternoon before the weather turned. Sunday's activities will be rescheduled for another day and we hope to return later in the year. p.s. the TV is very small and hard on the eyes :)

The general ambience and services offered, including meals, drinks, and live entertainment, were excellent. Location was central to a lot of places in town. Parking was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Management responded quickly to our TV failure and was genuinely sympathetic when they couldn't fix it.

TV failed on the second night of stay, and the shower facilities near our room had no hot water due to renovations and repairs. Access to rooms from the parking area was a rather long walk and haul with luggage.

Very clean and tidy for a pub hotel. Comfy bed and room. The shared bathrooms were actually fine and clean and a massive shower was lovely. There was only one sink though and my room didn’t have it so when I wanted to brush my teeth and there was people in there wanting to wash hands after the toilet and wash their faces etc it was tight. Also I would suggest a mirror in the rooms. We stayed in room 14 and the only thing it needed was a mirror.

Check-in was easy with a great staff member. The room was much smaller than the one we stayed in on our first visit. Air conditioning/heating was good. The food in the restaurant was excellent and well worth the price paid. Fantastically positioned to access the rest of the town and shops. Check out was easy.

The room's door handle was faulty, and the bed was a bit hard and stiff. The pillows were not very supportive.

Exceptionally clean! and rooms are pleasant to be in. Located above the big and very modern pub-bar-restaurant, but feels safe and noise is minimal (earplugs are provided). Awesome cleaning ladies! Sympathetic guests. I used it as a base to walk all beaches between Terrigal and Norah (lighthouse). Great bus communication to everywhere on the Central Coast. The best for me is Whale watching beach - Forresters Beach. I saw many, many Whales passing on their way south.

Internet is practically unavailable in the rooms at the end of the corridor (the ones from booking). For me, it was a big inconvenience as I do synchronised meditations with European countries - I had to sit on the corridor's floor at 4am 😝. Dearest The Lakes, in Jaycar you can buy wifi repeater, which only needs to be put on shelf and plugged into power point, no computer connection needed. There are different types, and prices are approx $70-200). Please consider. For long term travellers wifi is more relevant than tv.

I am homeless,an I had on my I'dentification card a local address, and I was told I couldn't stay at yr lovely hotel.. BUT because I booked my accomadation it on line..the awsome manager allowed me to stay for the night.. He carried my bag to my room and he was very professional and very caring.. The lbeatiful blonde lady behind the bar who greeted me come up to see if I was ok. and if I needed anything she started to cry for me because I'm 52 yrs old and no where to go..i told her not to cry for me as there are alot of people doing it hard out there and Im ok as I have hope an believe it will get better soon ...I wanted to really thank that lady she is a special kind of a person she didnt treat me like a number or look at me like I was a homeless bum nor did the manager they treated me like a real person and with respect and kindness .. I thankyou and yr excellent compassionate staff who made me feel so very welcome an comfortable... I wish I was allowed to stay in yr hotel but unfortunately rules are rules and I appricated that with respect..an I thank them for bending the rules for me for.the night. I would.recomend any one to stay at yr hotel I left with a smile if I could stay again I would best hotel I have ever.stayed.at and absoultly well presented threw out the dwelling clean and smells fresh yr staff take pride in there work and there work place present place to be at give yr selfs all a pat on the back and I'd it was me as boss I give you all a pay.rise ...💯👍😊

The location in the entrance, the quality pub meals a stone throw away from the rooms, the bathrooms were clean. The staff (especially Lisa) were excellent and friendly.

Tv didn’t play many channels, mainly HD. Even though the bathrooms were clean they didn’t have many places to place your toiletries on. A little bench in the shower would be nice. Or more hooks

You couldn't hear much of outside noise from patrons when in the room we had, was quite surprised & was grateful we got a room 2 doors down from the bathroom amenities due to my Mum's frailty & balance issues 😊

The only thing was the stairs to the rooms, we didn't think about that when we were booking our stay online, due to my Mum's frailty & walking stick, but no other complaints 😁
