The entire resort was something out of movie set, although not all shops were open during the NY period, you really didn't need to leave the resort apart from sightseeing, soaking in the sun at the many gorgeous water inlets, lagoons and beaches surrounding close to the resort. The many restaurants presented all freshly cooked meals, a must do is the Hong-Kong restaurant, the meals are to die for, I would do a day trip from Sydney to sit and eat here again. The rooms are well presented, clean and comfortable, the pool and jacuzzi was quaint and enjoyable as too was the inhouse cinema for our grandkids. An experience to remember. For those that don't have vehicles, Woy Woy train station is only a stones throw away from the resort.

Not a long enough stay.

The location was great and having the cinema and restaurants available. LOVED the decor, the character, the corridors and little balconies / seating everywhere. Favourite was the pool! Such a beautiful space, nice and private. Good to have some off-street parking available too.

When the air con is on at night its quite noisy, as well as we were woken up to drilling / maintenance work around 7.30am on our last morning. Dishwashing liquid provided would be helpful. We had a cockroach in the bathroom, so maybe spray provided or traps.

the stairs up to the room were very steep and too many - the staff took us up once in the lift which was so slow we could have walked a kilomeater before it came i went down to pick up our meal which was also very disappointed when the restaurant was right below our room and yet no one offers room service - i am 76 and would not recommend this place for the senior people

Great location with restaurants, cafes, beach, ferry terminal, groceries, all within walking distance. Large balcony and lots of free off street parking. Boutique hotel in a large complex that is reminiscent of the cobblestone backstreets of old Italy. The whole place is very clean and well maintained.

Ther bed was a bit hard for me and there was noise from the street. But other rooms with balconies overlooking the piazza would be quieter.

This is a very friendly Resort !! Peter at the front reception is so welcoming!! He was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the resort.

There are eateries, very handy to dine and they also have markets underneath. There is a cinema there too!!!

We were made very welcome when we booked in. The room very spacious and bed comfortable, pillows great. We were made very welcome at the restaurent we ate at and the food was great. Weather was rather cold and wet which made for a miserable evening but that was out of everyones control.

The lightening in the hallway upstairs was very dim and some of the lights along hallway did not come on and made it difficult to see at times. Perhaps at night lights in hallway could be a bit stronger.

The building itself was great. The decor was Mediterranean.

The elevator was claustrophobic! Very small space. You have to get someone to enter and exit the lift through a telephone. It’s ancient it needed upgrades! According to their service directory - using microwave oven - you have to pay $15 per day of your stay. And yet We paid high price for the room! Service directory writes milk in the fridge but there’s none! The toiletries - you ring for face towels ask for two they give one! And you have to ask again! Am Not happy costumer!

We enjoyed the fun and interesting style of the resort and the room. The Mediterranean style carried through in everything. The building was very interesting to explore and it has many choices of restaurants, shops and entertainment.

We could not control the air-conditioning in the room at all. It was locked to 20 degrees C and on the cooler evening, that was not warm enough.

The staff were so friendly. The hotel was delightful - so many beautiful murals and places to explore. Very charming. The pizza restaurant within the hotel had the best pizza we have had in a long time. It was raining and we took advantage of the cinema in the complex. We were traveling with 2 children and had the family room. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Well worth visiting.

Fantastic location. Restaurants, entertainment, bars, shops, etc all withing complex. Incredibly beautiful old-world, Italian charm throughout room and complex. Beautifully appointed resort and pool.

Restuarants were quite expensive eg., $80 for 2 for a basic breakfast at 1 of the eateries. Next time I'll do some more research and chose somewhere else.
