In a lovely quiet part of Suffolk Park, the accommodation is well maintained, clean and flexible for a couple and our puppy poodle. It has all the classic beachside holiday unit with good kitchenette, air conditioning, good bathroom and comfortable bed. While we could cook etc, the place has lovely restaurants and cafe that offer great range of food if on an extended stay. The simplicity and the key essentials make this place a rare gem.

Actually, we could not fault about the property - while we stayed for a night due to unforeseen reasons at our home, we felt we can easily stay here for an extended period as a home away from home.

Quiet location, walk to shops. Remote check in/out (once I could find the place. I had to phone for instructions as I missed seeing the additional email from them.) Person(s) on the phone were extremely helpful. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure. I found the decor relaxing, exactly what is needed on holiday. Nice sized room.

I received a text with check-in information. Unfortunately, I missed the email that had additional location information 😕 . Personally, I think check-in information would be better being either text message OR email to reduce any confusion.

Convenient, close to a wonderful surf beach and a short walking distance to the shops; room well equipped with all essentials; quiet, peaceful area. The hotel team were very accommodating, pleasant, even gave us all guests a New Year gift of local chocolates and cookies - wonderful people keeping wonderful place - all the best of lick to them!

No complaints at all! But note it is pitch dark in the area at night: great for star-gazing, but bring a pocket light with you if you want to walk around after sunset.

The perfect place to chill in Byron Bay. Simple but affordable, convenient, relaxed. Just steps away from the beach and shops. We enjoyed the couch and table to have our meals. The place is quiet, the staff is super friendly. They leave some welcome cookies when you arrive...nice!

The kitchen would deserve a redo. The smell disturbed us. There is no individual terrasse to eat outside, only a commun lounge, but located near the garbage area...

beach is just over the road and a really good part of suffolk park beach, it was a dog beach so lots of cute dogs to play with. Parking is great, directly infront of the room. Room was comfortable, big bed and a great living space. Suffolk shops has one of my favorite coffees in the area and its nice a quiet. Really liked the place, indo vibe in the room.

Abit pricey for this place. I own a place in Byron and I charge the same amount for much better accommodation but the place is really nice.

Friendly communications and vitual engagement from Manager Frances, accomodating an early checkin, welcome cookies & card, easy access, across from Tallows beach, sunrise heaven, beach walks, good sized rooms, parking out front, sustainable property with refillable toiletries, 5 min drive/15 min walk to shops, eateries, pub, away from the hussle & preten of Byron town, close to Broken Head beaches.

No staff engagement in the flesh to share a small business smile, no daily housekeeping to exchange towels/empty bins which after 1-2 days can fill quickly and get manky after the beach, bedding is a bit hard and flat (pillows), rooms need more light as they can feel a bit cave like - these are just suggested improvements to get your 10!

Our stay was perfect. The room was very comfy, had everything we needed (kettle, microwave, toaster, cutlery, plates etc) and lovely touches that made us feel really at home: milk in the fridge, a few books, local info, and really nice shampoo/conditioner etc. We had a nice outdoor patio with a table (even in the budget room) and the pool area was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful and had it ourselves most of the time! The staff were EXCELLENT, couldn't do enough for us and look after the property so well. Great value for money!! The stunning beach is 2 mins away and we'd love to come back next year! Even when our shower leaked, they promptly moved us into another room, no trouble. Fran (the manager) is a wonderful lady, so friendly and helpful.

Honestly, nothing. This place is exceptional.

Excellent location, it has to be the closest accommodation to Tallow beach. It was a nice touch leaving Byron Bay biscuits in the room. The TV had Netflix on ( not sure if it was a previous guest left without signing out or it's just included) There is no reception and check in is done via text , which was easy and the owners appeared keen to assist wirh any issues. There is a large pub / hotel called Suffolk Park about a 12 minute walk which has a large bar and restaurant, also other shops. Tallow beach is large and empty, Byron Bay is only a short drive away with everything you'd expect to find. Views from ghe Lighthouse are worth seeing.

We've been travelling for a month or so and the rooms have all been 'made up' each day. Not the case here ( very friendly helpful staff so not sure why ). This was pretty much the most expensive room we stayed in but also one of the 'tiredest'. I must say though that it was very clean and well equipped. I would stay there again

Amazing location! A stone's throw from the beach. Also Suffolk Park is beautiful & quiet, while stills begin only 10 mins from Byron itself, but without having to deal with the traffic & noisy bustle of town.

This is not my first stay. I return to this location because it ties all the boxes I need of ease of location, quiet and a comfortable, affordable room. No issues.

Room clean, easy access, complimentary cookies.. coffee pod machine. Great position, walk to beach, shops great bakery, Spar, groceries, pizza fabulous and The Park hotel great food and entertainment, great family venue.. kids playground and activities. Friendly staff.

Couple of power blackouts late nite, windy weather during our visit, but didn't stop or spoil our time there.
