Our host Felipe was wonderful. He was friendly and welcoming, quick to respond to any requests, and gave us great suggestions for what to do and where to eat. Our poolside room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. We loved being able to cool off in the pool after a hot day exploring Byron. The water dragons that sometimes hung out by the pool were a real treat! The location just at the edge of town and an easy walk to the beach was perfect for us.

Breakfast was good but basic (cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, juice, tea and coffee). It got a bit repetitive after 4 days and we would have appreciated some variety.

Very easy to find and a good location if you want to be just outside Byron's central hub but still reachable. The instructions for entry and the room itself were easy to find. We let ourselves in and made ourselves comfortable. The pool area was great and we loved that the pool was heated. It would've been nice to use the Sauna facilities but it required a booking. The breakfast in the morning was a very nice spread and the room/bathroom were very comfortable and modern.

Just limited seating options for breakfast when the place was full but we found somewhere to eat. We didn't see any staff until the morning after we had checked in and spent the night, we do like self-service but I think because it's a shared accommodation, there are other people coming and going.

This place was absolutely divine. Perfect for solo travelers or couples who want to be close enough to bars/restaurants/beaches but be a little out of the business of the Main Street. The property was very clean, calming/relaxing, the room we stayed in was spacious and well kept and the pool was lovely!!!!! And the sauna/steam room was such a perfect addition to our already amazing stay. Breakfast was always so nicely arranged and a great spread of options. Hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. 10/10 a must stay in Byron!

Nothing- it was perfect.

Really lovely setup, a beautiful, clean and peaceful space. The staff are really lovely and the breakfast is a nice touch. Access to the kitchen to make tea and coffee throughout the day is another real bonus! There's also plenty of space to relax around the pool, with towels and even yoga mats provided.

Some very small things that would make a big difference- de-scaling shower heads, spending a little more on the products provided (lynx shower gel, homebrand tea, yoghurt, milk is noticeable and spending a little more on these things does make a big difference), also providing milk/dairy alternatives would be amazing.

Room was well set up, comfortable and clean. Loved the outlook onto the Magna Pool which meant that an evening swim was definitely on the cards. Don't know if it was the magna Pool but I slept in till 9 on both mornings. They also give you fresh towels daily.

The towels were changed but they smelt like massage oil so it seems they use the same towels for the rooms as the Spa. This was not pleasant. Breakfast was plain and ordinary. Also it was not great that when you come down the steps from you room you had to step onto a drain grid or take a large step over it if your legs were long enough.

The location of Byron Palms is excellent for the main street, beach and lighthouse. All within walking distance and far enough away to be a quiet retreat. Breakfast was fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast and jams. More than enough to start the day. The room was really big, with lots of cupboard space and areas to sit. There was also seating outside the room near the pool which was really relaxing. Car park was perfect too. We would definitely recommend this venue for visiting Byron Bay

I hadn't realised that the venue offers massage and reiki and if time allowed, I would have liked to have booked a treatment. Maybe the addition of some information about this and availability would have been an added bonus

Location and setting were divine

The only negative was that we got bitten to death by mosquitoes during the night so would recommend they spray the rooms before guests arrive

Completely exceeded my expectations. The house was charming, the room beautiful, the bathroom sparkling. Philipp was super nice, loved enjoying breakfast and chatting with him and other guests. The breakfast is simple, but I was very content with my raisin toast and good coffee. The sauna and steam room costs extra, but was a fair price, and was a fantastic experience, because you rent it out and can use it alone. Also, there is a wonderful fancy supermarket across the street called Bay Grocer. I stayed here and also at a more expensive / luxurious hotel in Byron, and I honestly preferred Byron Palms and wished I just stayed here the whole time! It is charming, homey, and I am dying to go back and stay longer!

Peaceful clean environment, felt private and a boutique vibe. Rooms well equipped and included a decent bar size fridge, comfortable beds and a refreshing light breakfast included in the room rate with fresh fruit cereals toast and even catered to gf bread for me. Coffee was the first thing you wake up to smelling and the pool and surrounding areas are designed beautifully. Feel like you are in an Oasis the minute you arrive. Greeted by the most lovely house manager who was quick to help out in any way. Perfect for couple or single travellers.

Only thing that didn't work well was the air conditioner unit, although it was a quick fix from flicking the outside switch. Manager was very quick to fix for us and apologetic. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend

Superb gardens, clean spacious room. Breakfast was always fresh and healthy. Sauna and steam room were excellent. Parking at the back of the property accessible via the lane was very convenient.

The pool was freezing, though the heating was turned up a bit on our last day which was a great improvement. One really important improvement that is needed is a solid hand rail to help people like myself with very bad knees safely enter and exit the pool. If the property had this hand rail ( really needed for safety ) I'd rate the place a solid 10/10.
