Bungalow 2, which I was given, is located beneath the rear of the main house. The room is compact, impeccably clean and has pretty much everything you need for a short stay. The bed is very comfortable. My favourite part was the small outdoor bench overlooking the lawn and adjacent bushland. Perfect to sit and enjoy the fresh air and an afternoon wine.

Not knowing the room I was getting was beneath the rear of the main house and its upper deck. You can hear every time someone walks up there. Sadly my quiet appreciation of the outdoor sitting area was cut short when young children started playing on the lawn just metres away. I'm guessing they were guests of the hosts during school holidays.

The owners, Tony and Judy, were extremely kind to us in a time of extremity and our needs were very well catered to. The bungalow was very neat and unpretentious, situated in a sweet rustic setting on a hillside looking down into forest. The kitchen facilities had been arranged thoughtfully, although the space was a little confined, as expected. The ten minute walk to the shops and cafes was perfect for us, and gave us a chance to enjoy the perfect weather. Altogether it was excellent value for money.

Forest View Bungalow is relaxed and unpretentious overlooking the bush and is an easy drive to Nambucca's shops, beaches and the breakwater. The cottage is comfortable with all the amenities we needed (including coffee machine and pods). There is a comfy sofa and armchair to relax and watch TV, a nice indoor kitchen setting overlooking the surrounding bush as well as an outdoor bar table and stools. It is a very quiet and peaceful environment. Tony and Judy provided us with excellent clear directions to get there and are helpful and friendly hosts.

We loved the ease of informed information given for a non contact checkin. This was a last minute booking for us, we picked here because of good price and location but were extremely surprised how great our accommodation was. Beds were very comfortable, beautiful bush outlook, very quiet and private, as we took the last room we were happily surprised we did not see or hear any other guest. Room facilities were good with pod coffee etc everything you need. Thankyou guys we will definitely return to stay longer.

I may have missed it but a cutting board would be handy to cut tomatoes etc for our tapas. otherwise everything was great.

The bungalow was so charming - super comfy bed, luxurious linens and pillows, and all the necessary amenities for the kitchen and bath. The property is on a quiet road and backs to the forest so it was peaceful, yet just a few minutes drive to the Woolworths, town, and seaside. The host Tony was very friendly and helpful, too. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Just be sure to close the door quickly to avoid letting bugs inside (to be expected so NOT a complaint at all). Repellent was provided just in case!

Very comfy cosy place. Clean and well presented studio. I'd left my phone charger at home and the host very kindly went and found me a charger to use over night. Would recommend.

The TV didn't work, even after the host tried to get it working, but Nambucca was being affected by the southern flank of Cyclone Alfred, so possibly the weather was causing issues with the TV connection. The wifi was good so I was able to watch stuff on my laptop to pass the time instead.

This beautiful bungalow is an oasis on the edge of a forest, surrounded by nature, you can ‘bring the outside in’ by opening the French doors. A truly beautiful space, with quality furnishings and fittings, well maintained, and with hosts who obviously enjoy sharing their property with guests. Quiet, you can hear the native wildlife, but most importantly DOG FRIENDLY! I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in in Aus - highly recommended.❤️

I stayed one night at the Forest View Bungalow in Nambucca Heads and loved it. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well set out. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by trees with plenty of wildlife – I saw kangaroos grazing and tawny frogmouth birds resting. It felt private, quiet, and very relaxing. A perfect little nature getaway – I only wish I stayed longer!

Off the main drag on the edge of the forest so very very quiet. Cabin has everything needed and is well furnished and comfortable . Arriving home at 8.30pm after dinner we saw the biggest kaangaroo at our door way. Would be well suited for people staying a few nights to enjoy the surroundings. Nice big bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Only small catch would be if you cant do steps. Our cabin had 3 steps up to the bathroom, which was fine by us, and maybe other cabins dont, so ask when booking.

Dog friendly. Relatively spacious. Had mini fridge, microwave, cutlery & crockery, etc. Comfortable bed. Peaceful location. Off-street parking.

Old wall mounted air conditioner (which was needed for heating due to cold wet weather) was very noisy... but worked well. Blind over door was broken. Gaps at the sides of the blinds, so could see in from outside when closed.
