Everything! Our check-in was great, Esslar was super lovely and gave us some tips on where to explore in the area. The room was huge and so clean. The bed was comfy. You have your own kitchenette and the shower is great. My partner had the big breakfast, which was an XL breakfast. He loved it, and I had the mushrooms on toast, again huge portion and at such a good price! We didn't use the pool, but it was always clean and tidy. The location is amazing, next door to the country club and so close to the beach.

That we had to leave. If we are passing through, we will definitely be back!

Pleasant quiet area just a short walk to the busy hub of town and the parkland and beach. Convenient without the traffic and noise 😎 Pool very attractive especially if there are children in your party 🤗. For us the undercover parking is a very good facility.

We were attracted by the Restaurant and Bar however as we were only there over Easter holiday weekend these were not available. Will make sure to include some weekdays next time.

It was very clean and comfortable room and beds. cleaned daily. Well-maintained outdoors. A close walk to everything. I felt very relaxed and comfortable there. Bonus - has an EVSE EV charger and the motel is located within range from Sydney and our home up north.

I have no complaints. The kitchen was small and bathroom very adequate. But for the price, we didn't expect them to be larger.

Good location for us to stop on our drive up to the Northern Rivers. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Checking in and out outside of hours was easy and self-explanatory. The value for money here is great.

The beds were too soft for my liking but that’s really just personal preference. If renovating I would suggest some better soundproofing of the windows but it didn’t impact our stay very much.

Esslar the manager & a bit of everything else is a lovely lady who was very friendly, helpful & was always smiling. The resort rooms are spacious, very clean with comfy beds. They offer breakfast, lunch & dinner in their restaurant for guests convenience if you don’t want to venture out. Gary, the very capable chef makes a delicious breakfast (perfect poached eggs) Excellent value & quantity. All located a short walk into town & beaches. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Great outside area with table and chairs. Pool well looked after. Plenty of utensils in the small kitchenette. On-site restaurant was appreciated. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Ramp to first floor but stairs to the next level were challenging with luggage. Needed to fill kettle from bathroom sink but difficult to manoeuvre as kettle was quite big and hard to fit under tap.

Room was spacious and clean. A good layout and had everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs provided excellent meals which offered good value for money. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our overnight stay. Our 7 year old rated it 10/10!

The previous hotel we stayed in heated their pool to 28 degrees, which was lovely. Rockpool was 21 degrees, which we found a little chilly at 8am. That is the only suggestion we have that would have improved our experience at Rockpool.

Oh Booking.com once again processed our credit card transaction offshore. That means an international transaction fee as well as the credit card fee. We paid in Australian dollars. We will only book direct from now on. Customer service in unapproachable.

Such friendly helpful staff, who went out of their way to accommodate us. I liked the two level blinds which meant you could have total privacy or some screening from the outside. The tables/ chairs outside our units were great for breakfast. Under cover parking is a great addition as the car was fully protected. The pool was clean and well maintained.

Really enjoyed our brief but very comfortable stay at Rockpool. The room was a generous size and we had a great night's sleep. Fred was very welcoming and helpful with check in and directions. The room was spotlessly clean and met all our needs. South West Rocks is a delightful town and we hope to come back for a longer stay.

Not a real problem but the vertical distance between our car and the room meant quite a bit of shlepping of luggage, as there was no lift. If we were staying a few days or more this would not have been a problem, but having to do it twice in 24 hours took a little toll on us oldies.
