A great place to stay whilst visiting wine country. Basic clean and comfortable accommodation. Good team in the hotel.

Stayed on SAunday evening and there was a limite range of eating options. Not the Motor Inns fault at all but worth bearing in mind when travelling.

Liked to be greeted. Nice looking place. Arrived late so had to get takeaway food. Kebabs not recommended. There is a nice bbq area near the river.

The rooms were very old but clean and comfortable. We paid way over what it was really worth but it is holiday season

Our room was spacious and the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and the parking was great for our large vehicle 🤩the host went to extra trouble with beds as we travelled with small children

Kempsey is a rough town and we were told not to leave anything in our vehicle overnight which made me nervous but we had no problem at all the area we stayed in was very nice and quiet

Quiet little spot by the river. Rooms appeared to be clean and all amenities worked well.

Property is a bit dated and could use a spruce, new bedding, carpets etc. we were pretty desperate to wash some clothes, but laundry facilities were broken. Nothing that we couldn’t work around.

The Colonial Court was found on Bookings.com the day prior to our family party in Kempsey, (due because the original motel which we booked and fully paid for closed the day prior to our arrival with only a short text message to inform us of the fact) I hurriedly looked for a motel that could accommodate 10 people for 5 rooms and the Colonial Court showed availability, while originally due to the location and the age of the hotel we were all a little sceptical of the hotel all of the family were presently surprised with the condition of the hotel and the rooms. The motel is situated on the river and we had a beautiful bbq area to congregate and celebrate our time together.

The bedside lamp and power point were faulty. I turned off and unplugged. The shower door was touchy so didn't close. The Fridge wasn't at all cold.

Clean comfortable and great location by the river. We had an end room with balcony and it was very peaceful and relaxing

This property is clean, well maintained and right on the river. It is easy to access from the freeway and our room has a delightful patio for coffee by the river in the morning.

There were no issues and it served the purpose of being a pretty overnight stop on a road trip.
