Don't judge this motel by it's exterior. When we pulled up we were a little sceptical. However once we entered our room... WOW.... it was excellent. Fabulous products in the bathroom, beautiful towels, sheets, bedding, blinds. Crockery and cutlery X 2 was a great surprise as was the selection of tea, coffee and chocolate. This motel is undergoing a Reno so quite a few tradesmen around but they were very courteous and didn't interfere with our stay.

The gentleman in reception was a little "grumpy" but was suffering with leg/knee pain and so I forgave him. He thawed out and was really quite nice.

I chose this motel as I was just passing through and it was close to the highway but it wasn't noisy. The location was bushland and very quiet. There were no pubs or restaurants within walking distance. They do meals and delivered dinner to my room which was very convenient as I didn't have to get in the car and go out again. The room was large and the bed comfortable. There was a table and 2 chairs plus an armchair. The motel had large pool.

The location was easy to find and easily accessible from the highway from both the north and south. The motel was quiet and very clean, with plenty of towels and quality toiletries available. Breakfast and dinner were both available and key collection after reception hours was easy to arrange.

There were mozzies but a can of spray was provided to take care of this.

Location was good and not to far from the town centre. Water pressure for shower very good. Air conditioning nice and quiet Bed cormfortable and TV reception excellent for the area. Plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases.

Needed a little TLC on gutters as rain was overflowing

Jason called ahead to touch base with us as we were driving up from Melbourne and running behind schedule. When we arrived he was available at reception and very friendly and helpful. Parking at the front door was very convenient.

Rooms a little dated, some noise from the nearby road.

Easy access from the highway, but cannot hear the traffic. Very clean, great shower, good pressure and lovely products provided for use. Easy communication with the proprietors and ability to arrive after reception hours and early departure. Breakfast and dinner available.

It was easy to check in, location wise the hotel was just off the highway and easy to find. Parking was good, no stairs to climb. The bed was comfy and shower very nice. Most of all we enjoyed the spaciousness of the room - there was plenty of space for suitcases and luggage. Very suitable for a one-night stay when in transit.

Great king size single bed. Pillow were comfy. Looked like freshly painted and new carpet. Although furniture (cupboards, wardrobe, chairs) were mostly outdated they were clean. Plenty of parking.

expensive but it was around xmas holidays. Small issue with toilet - had not been cleaned properly from previous occupant.

This is a classic old style motel and is a very convenient stopover as it is well located to the M1. The rooms are spacious, scrupulously clean and you park at the door of your room which is so convenient. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. I was given real milk upon check in which makes for a much better cup of tea! It is a short drive to downtown Kempsey but I ordered room service for dinner and it exceeded my expectations. The barramundi was delicious and came piping hot with a generous serve of vegetables and a glass of wine!

The room was really nice. There was fresh milk which is always a huge plus, they even had hot chocolate sachets available. That was really nice especially when you don't drink tea or coffee. Hot chocolate is very rarely supplied. I thought this place was absolutely great and will definitely stay there again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.
