The view was amazing and the property had free to use Kyaks and paddle boards for use during your stay which was a great idea considering you are right across the road from the water. The unit was also extremely clean and staff were very friendly. This place is absolutely an amazing place to stay and would highly recommend.

There was free wifi but it dropped in and out of connection and wouldn’t work most of the time which wouldn’t normally have bothered me as I would just use mobile data but also had zero phone reception. So if a digital detox is what your after then thats exactly what you’ll get.

We needed accommodation in a very specific location at the last minute during the busy Christmas-New Year season, and Marcel Towers came to the rescue. They were incredibly accommodating of our late arrival, which we really appreciated. The view was wonderful, and the location was excellent. The staff were attentive and followed up to ensure everything was clear, which gave us confidence and peace of mind during an otherwise hectic holiday. While the accommodation was modest, it was affordable and perfect for our needs. We were so grateful for the balance of comfort, affordability, and great service Marcel Towers provided.

If we could have split the double bed into two singles, that would have been amazing. However, we were fine with the setup as it was.

The attention to detail like hooks in the bathroom and a box of tissues - really appreciated the little things (would just add enough face cloths for the number of guests). Location was tops! Step outside onto the waterfront walk. Great birdwatching. Beautiful backdrop of the rainforest. Beds were very comfy. Everything was very clean, kitchen well setup. Liked the stairwell library aesthetics!

The stairs were a bummer for carrying luggage up to the top level, but they were well lit, and thank you sooo much to staff who offered to help carry our bigger pieces of luggage, made a big difference!

Fabulous location and outlook, and a lovely spacious unit. Nice and clean and bright. We also really enjoyed looking at the professionally bound book showing local fish to be seen, and got a sense of the history of Marcel Towers and the area and its residents from a walk along the shoreline, just across the road. Not every stay has to be shiny and modern - we appreciated the heart of the place.

The pillows were maybe a bit past their best - or at least we found them uncomfortable. But really such a minor thing. The bed itself was comfy!

Location is perfect. Walk to town or tavern, food is really good at the tavern. Morning walk is good on the flat areas toward the V Wall. People are very friendly and helpful. Had a really nice stay at Marcel Towers, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is central to everything. I have booked again for a stint over Christmas with our family. Everything was great, we will be back.

I didn't find any negatives during this stay, unit is modern, facilities are up to date, parking is easy, you are close to everything, we were very happy to stay here.

Our apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, including an airfryer and dishwasher. Great location and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. The location is directly across from the water for fishing or water activities, and reverse cycle air-conditioning kept the unit a comfortable temperature. The view from our apartment at the front was amazing!

There was no sun on our balcony during our stay, but I guess that was due to being mid winter. Would have been a lovely spot to sit out there for a coffee or cheese and biscuits if it had been a bit warmer..

The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The position on the water with views is amazing and being able to use the boats, watercraft and snorkelling gear is a bonus. Everything you could want is there or within walking distance.

I can never get Netflix to work, the controller wasn’t great and couldn’t get the volume to turn down. The apartments on the higher floors are much better for smart TVs. The ones below only have free to air. But this is obviously a minor issue and I read my book to wind down before bed instead.

There wasn’t a breakfast on offer. I always take mine though whenever I’m away.

It wasn’t the fault of the staff at all but booking.com had told me the unit was on the ground floor and it clearly wasn’t. When I arrived a staff member carried my bags up for me. My knees gets very sore when I walk up or down stairs. When I booked the unit I I asked that if the unit block didn’t have a lift I wanted a room on the ground floor. This isn’t good enough and booking.com have done the wrong there here.it will be difficult to trust them in the future. Michele.

The location was absolutely beautiful, offering breathtaking ocean views that made the experience truly special. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of facilities that catered to all our needs, including a full kitchen, which was a big plus. Everything was spotless, reflecting the attention to detail in cleanliness. The staff were lovely—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Overall, it was a perfect getaway spot, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The location was excellent. We could walk to beaches, cafes, restaurants and the RSL club. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We struck a small issue and they were more than willing to solve it with a positive attitude. The kitchen was well stocked and there were condiments, tea bags etc. There was even a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge and a bottle of cold water. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We will be back 😊
