Room was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed and nice sofa to relax on. Very pleasant outlook from the large glass balcony doors.

The fact that these rooms do not contain a small fridge .Instead they have a very inefficient and ineffective wine chiller cabinet. To keep anything frozen we had to take it to reception for them to put in fridge. I cannot imagine anyone travelling that would not have something they want to keep very cold especially if they had children with them. The sofa which was very comfortable had a few stains and looked as it could do with a good clean though I am sure it had been cleaned just that the stains could not be removed.

Extremely clean and newly renovated- everything looks and seems fresh and clean. The bedrooms the bathrooms all were very clean. All the appliances were new - such as the mini fridge- microwave and iron. Absolutely loved the scent of the body wash and shampoo & conditioner. They even had some completely make up remover wipes- which I thought was a Unique and convenient little touch. The Mexican food was extremely tasty and well priced. The staff from the front desk to the dining area were very professional and friendly.

The dining area was a little stuffy- when we asked if they could put the air conditioning on- they advised they didn’t work! Lucky there was a pleasant breeze. Air conditioning in the bedroom was a little noisy

We were so surprised….the Resort is amazing and far exceeded our expectations for accommodation with pet friendly rooms which we stayed in with our 2 dogs. The rooms were set back in a quieter area, they were spacious, loved the Retro colours, and the resort even provided a sheet to cover the lunge if your dog does happen to jump up. Our dogs live their new bed so even though we covered the lounge, weren’t interested. The resort has wonderful facilities. We took turns to use the lovely pool area, while hubby walked the dogs through the spacious gardens and lawn area. The Mexican restaurant was delicious,ours and we sat in the deck with our dogs and breakfast also on the deck. There is a small gym. Everything had been considered and the staff were lovely. A great place to stay and so reasonably priced.

We were staying at a lot of places over the last 13 nights of our trip from North to South with the family and I have to say that this was one of the most comfortable beds we had on our trip. The place was clean and thought that the rooms were nice and bright and airy and loved the look of the room and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very happy and would definitely stay again on my way through or if i stayed for a few days or so.

Was a very short stay so there was nothing that we didn’t like. Would definitely like to come and stay longer to use all the amenities. My Son and brother in law used the pool and was very happy. Only thing I would say is a recommendation of places to eat on Monday if there is no one in reception to ask as suggested to ask on your information. We came through on a Monday night when most places are closed so went to the Tavern and waited 2 hours for dinner. It was just unfortunate that it was Trivia night so loud and busy for the amount of staff they had in the kitchen. This is only a suggestion that would have helped.

The design and size of the room was great, very spacious and modern. The bed was large and so comfortable. The room amenities were very good, including quality bathroom toiletries. A nice size balcony with amazing sunsets. The room was really quiet and great spa and sauna and pool onsite, plus the lovely Mexican restaurant. Really good choice. Will recommend and come again. Great pet friendly rooms available. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lots of local sights within close driving distance.

After a long drive, the lady on reception was so welcoming and friendly. She gave advice on a great walk to do with our little pupper who needed to stretch after the drive too. The room was spacious and so well set up for our 4 legged family. While we travel with her bowls and coverlets etc it was so welcoming to actually know they thought about that as well. We did have a drink and a snack at the bar as well. The food was delicious. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Very accommodating with anything we asked for. They even stored some things in their commercial freezer for us as the room refrigerator does not have a freezer section. They had good cocktails and the food we had was good too. The dining/bar area was very comfortable. The room was very spacious and newly remodeled.

The shower temperature fluctuated a lot. From scolding hot to cold and the levers were incredibly sensitive and hard to adjust.

Just off the freeway, a perfect rest stop between Sydney and the Gold Coast. Very affordable, king size bed, spotless, great food and staff are great. We felt like we had been away for a holiday instead of a roadtrip stopover. It would be a nice place for a holjday as well. The room was large with a seperste spot for your luggage. They have a gorgeous fireplace to lounge in front of in winter and a pool for summer. We couldn't fault it.

We liked everything.

The room was massive, giving me space to spread out. The option of the facilities was great even though I didn't get a chance to use them as I was working. The bed was comfortable and overall feel was great. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and it was close to shops (IGA and Woolworths)

The walls were a little thin and you could hear when people were going in and out of the surrounding rooms but I only heard this in the mornings as people were leaving for the day.

We loved our stay at Cubana Nambucca Heads! We spent four nights here over Christmas in a Queen Room overlooking the beautiful lake, with our daughter and her partner staying just a couple of doors away. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They suggested we use the restaurant area on Christmas Day for our family lunch as it was only open for breakfast. All we had to do was tidy up afterwards. This was perfect! We set up a table with our Christmas spread and enjoyed a lovely casual lunch. We loved the grounds and the tropical lush gardens surrounding our cabanas. The pool area was clean, with comfortable chairs and tables in the shade, as well as lounges poolside for sunning. The pool was so very refreshing and the spa, nice and relaxing. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff and we always felt comfortable and very welcome.
