This was a last minute booking, and a somewhat random choice. What a brilliant find!! The style of the motel was a bit 1930s, which I loved. However, the motel facilities were modern with a nice ensuite, fridge, microwave etc. The motel itself and the room were very, very clean and comfortable. The room had a nice balcony, although the weather wasn't conducive to sitting outside. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast (either hot or cold) was included in the price and was a nice bonus. I'd certainly stay again, but next time stay for longer.

Nothing to dislike - well, I would have liked to stay longer but had to get back home for work :(.

The motel is in a great location down near the river in close proximity to cafes, the river & nice walks. The motel is an old building but has a nice ambience about it & is decorated tastefully & clean. The staff were friendly & helpful & on arrival explained the procedure for the included breakfast the following morning. The bathroom in the unit was very spacious & the bed comfortable. Provisions in the room were good.

The flight of stairs up to the room was very steep although there was at least another flight to use at the opposite end of the hall not quite as steep. There was a small slope across the room under the carpet about 1cm wide with no signage so if not careful it was easy to trip. The flying foxes nearby were very noisy in the morning.

We loved everything about the property including the wonderful hosts, Rena and Ziggy, who were warm and welcoming and so helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and gorgeous and the bathroom overlooked a lovely garden. Our room had been newly renovated and was quite beautifully appointed. It included a chandelier in the bedroom and bay windows and was super comfortable as were the bed and pillows. A hot breakfast of your choosing was served in the lovely dining room and was yummy. Rena and Ziggy are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable, including recommending an excellent restaurant. Not only that, but Ziggy drove us there and picked us up when we called. Outstanding service and thank you Rena and Ziggy, we’ll certainly be back!!

The free hot breakfast included was a lovely surprise and the staff very kindly delivered it to our room as we have a little baby who was still asleep. They were very kind and accomodating providing an extra towel for bub, a room upgrade to better fit the bassinet and info on places to swim and eat in the area. Room was very clean and great view over the river. We would definitely stay again!

We were surprised that People were allowed to smoke on their balcony’s and the smoke drifted straight into our room.

Spacious family room with a riverview was lovely. I didn't realise it was a B&B until after I booked and had a pleasant surprise. My daughters and I enjoyed the simple cooked breakfast to start our day. The accommodation was much quieter than I was expecting and, even though full, I could barely hear anyone else. Owners were lovely.

The furnishings could do with an upgrade. Hard to get off the lounge due to sinking and the lampshades were taped onto their bases. Decor and linens all a bit mismatched.

Rena and Ziggy were so welcoming, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable (and I'm a bit of a bed princess). Everything you need was provided, cups saucers, tea coffee and a decent sized milk in the fridge, not those tiny UHT ones. Breakfast was included and delicious and ready for us when we went down to the dining room. We loved staying here and will choose it again if in the area. I also loved looking at the amazing succulent collection in the garden.

It was a bit of a hilly walk to town, but there are a couple of cafes nearby and we walked to the RSL club for dinner.

It was a very homely vibe, the managers were super friendly and willing to go that extra mile. I didn't realise I hadn't added our toddler to the booking, and they were not fussed at all! We even got a free upgrade to a bigger room! We will definitely stay again

The mattresseses in the room were a little uncomfortable and the heater was difficult to workout temperature wise.

Third time staying at Riverview and we will be back again so that says it all. Old world style. Rooms and bed very comfortable and with a lovely outdoor balcony overlooking the river. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there so didn't get to enjoy the balcony this time. We did on previous visits having breakfast and evening drinks on the balcony. Breakfast included and again old style but nice. Choice of eggs, bacon, tomato, beans, toast and tea or coffee. Location great being within walking distance of RSL, V-Wall hotel and river walking tracks.

Nothing really except the rainy weather. Not their fault.

Breakfast was very nicely done. The owners were friendly and helpful and the river a 5 min walk. Beaches a 5 min drive. Clean room and a nice balcony.

Fruit bats. I know they are native and protected but they made a noise from the adjacent trees all night. It wasn’t too bad as the temperature allowed us to close the windows but for those who like an open window, it may be an issue.

Location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is available with room. Rooms are very comfortable and staff very helpful. Historic building which has been done up by the owners. It's like a home away from home.

Hard to fault didn't have problem with the venue just lack of some food places being open at time I was there.
