We stayed here as a stopover and just needed 2 comfortable beds and a shower. The motel is modest and old fashioned, but clean. It had tea and coffee, fresh milk, and a generous number of motel biscuits. The shower was hot. Most of all the beds were incredibly comfortable. After a long drive, they just enveloped us and we had the most fantastic night's sleep. We arrived late and the late check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. Oh - and it's next door to Maccas for a decent morning coffee and breakfast if needed.

Fantastic accommodation, exceptionally clean, incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. The free upgrade was an amazing surprise and we were further surprised with the range of cookware, Tupperware and appliances. I have never stayed in such accommodation where you literally have everything you need with the highest quality. The price was very cheap for such value. We will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends and we will be returning! Thankyou for an awesome stay!!!!! We stayed friday night. Crawford, Goodliff and hurley.

There isn't anything we didn't like. We cannot fault anything.

We stayed last year in a smaller basic room but it was very good and VERY clean! Reception ladies were delightful both times.This time we stayed in the self catering unit which was brilliant! Clean and so many little details taken care of in the kitchen area, even an air fryer, although we were there only one night and never got to use it . Plenty of room to stash your stuff. For a few days stay it is perfect, walking distance to the shops, petrol close by and for us it being on the main road, and us not being too adventurous being able to turn in and just straight out back on the road was brilliant. We had a quiet night. Definitely would book again when up that way.

I very loud spoken elderly lady in the next room! We did unfortunately also experience some very loud shouting and music from the Ma Donald's car park in the evening but I think they were moved on. Not the Motels fault that sort of thing can happen anywhere.

Don't judge a book by it's cover - motel looks a little dated from the outside, but inside everything's right. Really comfy king sized bed, good kitchenette (really well stocked with cutlery etc), large room and very, very quiet. Motel's literally 20 meters from McDonalds and KFC if you're after takeaway, has an in-house Chinese restaurant, and there's a Woolies and BigW shopping center less than a minute away by car, plus there's two service stations in the immediate vicinity. Located just off the highway it was a perfect place to break our drive back north.

The self-contained rooms looked very new and modern. The cupboards had everything to make a longer stay enjoyable as there was a blender and an air fryer in the cupboard, including a dishwasher and full fridge. My husband will usually rate a hotel/motel on the quality of the bathrooms, and he was pleasantly surprised with the 3-ply tissues for toilet paper. We have stayed in 5-star hotels that cost $900 a night with 2-ply toilet paper, and then we stay at this motel and they gave us luxurious 3 ply. My son loved the fact that Maccas is literally next door and at our doorstep.

Nothing about the hotel, but for the holiday season, the town kempsey was super quiet and only fast food joints were opened.

We booked at the last minute en route south and were happy with our choice. We were very warmly welcomed on arrival. The bathroom is a little dated, but spotlessly clean and perfectly functional. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious with good kitchen facilities. The motel is centrally located in Kempsey, so easy to wander out for meals, shopping etc, although there is a Chinese restaurant on site (which we didn't use).

Great location, easy to get to. Lots around that is walking distance. Room is older but very clean, well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the location was nice and quiet. Perfect for an overnight stop on our road trip

Nothing to do with the hotel but Google maps takes you on a super long detour to get the entrance. Ignore Google maps! Just put maccas in your app and it will get you there faster. My map took me over the bridge and then back around again.

The owners were so lovely. They changed the rooms so that we would be more comfortable as a family and when we misplaced the key they gave us another one. Later that day they did ring to let us know that they found the key so that we would not be worried about the missing key.

Nothing - the room was great for a family of 6. They really liked the fact that Macca's was next door.

Handbasin is outside bathroom and is also used as kitchen sink. Chinese restaurant onsite( sep business, not run by mote) is located up large flight of stairs, not accessible for all. Sunday night service was very slow, 1 hr wait for takeaway, food was lovely. Was advised to phone order in advance from 5 pm next time.

Room appeared new or recently renovated. Beds very comfortable. Slept well, no traffic noise. Ironing board and iron provided, good hanging space and for bags.

Only a very minor dislike.... No basin or bench in bathroom, though this did afford plenty of room for shower and toilet which aided assistance with an elderly person. Full length mirror in kitchenet afforded multiple people at the same time . ..so pluses and minuses
