We were very impressed with our room and the facilities which were spotless and very well appointed. The room was well designed. There was ample room for our luggage, the king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. We ate at the hotel on a few occasions and the food was great. The train station is across the road, there are good coffee shops within easy walking distance and Woolies is very close. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Recommended.

We had been concerned that we could be disturbed by hotel noise (music) but we only heard very faint sounds which didn't bother us at all.

We had the king room, and it was beautifully renovated with plenty of space including a little sitting area. We were there in winter, and the room was very warm with the air conditioning on, and the bed was comfortable and warm too. I really enjoyed the modern bathroom and hot shower. It was a really lovely room.

The rooms are at the end of the car park to the Richmond Inn which makes it very convenient if you are going to a function there as we were, but it also means that you are hearing all the noise as the patrons and cars leave in the early hours of the morning. Luckily, we had the room furthest from the venue, and I slept soundly but my partner was the one who mentioned the noise in the early hours. It might not be so noticeable during the week, but we were there on a Saturday night which was busy.

We loved the decor. So different from every other accommodation place we have stayed at. The decorators got it just right making it a pleasant experience. The king size bed and bedding made for a good nights sleep. The tiled shower with large shower head we loved plus the extra long wooden bench to put stuff on and space underneath for luggage. We had a drink at the bar and there is a restaurant plus other restaurants within walking distance. These unit refurbishments are a credit to Richmond Inn. We will stay there again.

I travel a lot both overseas and domestic and in comparison I found the staff from the onset extremely polite and professional. The Richmond Inn is quite the surprise, located in a beautiful country township and definitely holds its own with the larger hotels. The rooms have been renovated which exudes country charm. Onsite restaurant, beer garden and bar along with a shopping centre next door, McDonald’s and a train station over the road makes it the perfect location.

The room has a great country feel. The rain shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable plenty of towels and bedding supplied and the rooms are attached to the back of the pub which had great value good quality food. The staff were very friendly and it is close to public transport. I expected a lot of noise given the beer garden was right outside my room and the pub is open till 3 am. However, at 11pm it got very quiet and I was impressed with how staff managed some of the noisier patrons especially because it was a Friday night.

The car park is used by patrons and staff as well as people staying at the inn so at 3am there was some noise as people left.

There was no breakfast available at the facility but it was in very close proximity to a cafe that served an excellent breakfast. The room was pleasantly quiet even though it was attached to the rear of the Inn & the Garden Bar.

I had no complaints really. The exterior area (car park) could have been more inviting & reserved parking for the units would have been a great advantage. It would also be a good idea if one unit was a disability unit.

It was a really lovely place to stay, great location and close to the place we needed to attend a conference The rooms where are very comfortable. Newly renovated, very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable had a great sleep, I liked that they have different pillows to choose from soft to firm and the shower 🚿 was so good. Lots of tea and coffee in the room. I had some of my employees stay in the next room and they where also very happy with there room and beds also. We went to the bistro for dinner, the bar staff have good customer service. The chef was absolutley fantastic and so accommodating and friendly one of my staff members was on a medical dietary requirement and he was so nice and accommodating to her needs. I loved how he interacts with his customers and the locals. The food was amazing and fantastic and fried apple pie was so Thanks for a great stay, it was a beautiful stay! Would recommend to stay if you have a stop overnight trip.

Can't fault it for anything, we had a great stay.

The room we stayed in was neat and tidy; room was renovated really nicely specially the bathroom; staff are friendly from the gentlemen at the entrance door to the managers. The property is at the town centre, walking distance from a lot of restaurants and other places of interest. The property is run well, credit to Sonia and Paula, will stay there again as we are planning to go back to Richmond next year.

The exterior of the hotel was unimpressive but the room was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The staff were delightful and went out of their way to help. The room was in a separate building beside the hotel so noise wasnt an issue for us. Parking outside room. It is on an intersection but was not disturbed by traffic noise either. Next to a shopping mall and opposite some fast food places. Perfect for an overnight stay for the two of us.

Out stay at the Richmond Inn was absolutely amazing and the staff were nothing but helpful through the entire process. As we were coming down for a funeral, the booking was very last minute and we were unfortunately going to arrive a bit later than check in times. The staff were very understanding and helped us tremendously through this and went above and beyond to make sure we got into our room safely. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, the rain shower was just what we needed after a long day of travel, and the bed was very comfortable. Having just been renovated, the room was extremely clean and tidy!

The only slight downside to staying here was the close proximity to the road. There was a bit of traffic noises at night, and where as I slept soundly through it- my partner was woken a few times during our stay. Even so, if we ever needed to come back through town, we would definitely be staying here again.
