Also has a kid park Loved the fact the room numbers were years and places of the games . I had Amsterdam and partner had Helsinki,that was novel A nice walk around to see where things are . It’s also a locked gated community at night which made us feel safe

Laundry was expensive $5 a ,load Dryer was like $1 for 10 min. I put $6 in thinking it would just keep going but it ate it and only worked 10 min Room Doors have a little knack to open them There is no parking for people staying. It’s in a sports precinct so footy field ,baseball,was going on the days we were there and parking areas were full so we had to wait to leave late so we got a space when we returned . Or we left or the day and only came back late.something needs to be reserved or people staying in the lodge. It’s a hit or miss for parking and u can’t park on the street I always carry a blue light with me when staying at motels and the sheets at this place had hand prints and other oddities on them. So I again slept on the pulled up Doona

The location is great - right in the middle of the Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP). Surrounded by sporting fields, the Lodge is a unique place offering the peace and quiet you might expect from being in the country. The rooms face on to an open courtyard with BBQs and places to sit. The room numbers are Olympic Years with the host city listed eg. 1924 Paris. It's a great atmosphere. My room was big, with lots of shelf space and a generous bathroom. Aside from twin beds, it was nice having a small couch where I could sit. Staff members were very helpful and professional.

Unlike the rest of the room, the fridge was very small. It needs to be bigger and supplied with more milk. Likewise, the single beds would hardly fit the athletic profiles of the fellow guests I saw. There was no information sheet in the room explaining things like the exact location of the laundry, or the nearby cafe and its opening hours.

Useful if there was a bit more crockery in the room so you can make your own breakfast (cereal) - had the kettle, fridge and cups so that was fine. If we had known there was nothing else we would have brought a couple more things with us. We didn't use the facilities there, but it was really good. Gates were locked at night (opened using room key) so nice and safe. Also, very quiet from a traffic point of view.

Very clean rooms , modern and very generous in size. The available amenities was great for example the on site laundry. Very child friendly with the ample amounts of space available and children’s park. If there was any thing to fault it would be the drain in the bathroom which bothered my sensitive nose. The staff members were always friendly and helpful. The pricing was another big tick for me. Would definitely stay again if visiting Sydney in the future

The location was great, staff were lovely, very easy check in and check out. The only thing missing is a microwave, this would make this stay more attractive in the future as we would definitely stay again. Great place to take the family as the grannies have loads they can do to stay active. Mc Donalds is a 5 minute walk. The room was also disability accessible, however one of the power points in the bathroom is placed in an awkward space making it hard for wheelchair uses to access independently if they wanted to dry or style hair

I really liked the breakfast - getting a voucher for the cafe was great, and made the stay better. Also, the voucher was not for just an entry level meal. The bed was very comfortable, however next time I'll pay more attention to the room I'm booking, as I ended up with single beds.

Mobile service was woeful, and whilst that isn't the fault of the hotel, by the time I realised there was no one around and no instructions/password for the WiFi. Having travelled for work, this was kinda crucial.

The design/decor was the main reason I decided to stay at the lodge Blacktown, didn't disappointed me . The sporting facilities surrounding the logde are super !cool place

Well , I've been staying in hotels / motels at least once a month, lately every week due to golf commitments in NSW .all places take bond money and a full refund is expected at all times unless you are silly enough to loose which is not my case . I truly dislike the fact the take a retainer and charge you a surcharge for no reason. My golfing buddy got charge almost $5.00 dollars And I got charge $2.00 which is not refundable ofcourse. This isn't right .they've got your details already and accommodation was paid in full prior to check-in. I understand they all take a small deposit but we shouldn't be paying for the transaction. Not cool!

The facility is clean, well maintained and easily accessible with latest technology and security. The reception, manager and cleaning staff are all very polite,helpful and forthcoming. Tea/Coffee services are great too. The vending machines as well as nibbles services at reception is good. We have stayed here multiple times and each time it's been a very pleasant experience and they have been accomodating with our requests. Thank you, The Lodge Blacktown.

The beds/pillows are a tad bit uncomfortable but that's just an individual's preference. Would be great if there was common kitchen room or something to heat up food.

Perfect location for what we needed, being able to walk to the AFL ground the next morning was awesome. The accommodation is comfortable & exceptional value for money. Has a bit of an athlete village feel, but I liked it! Clean, comfortable & roomy. We had a room with four single beds, adequate room for a family. I had read previous rooms of people complaining the about this accommodation being basic, that's ridiculous! It is purpose built for families & large groups obviously in the heart of a sporting precinct. There should be more accommodation like this in Sydney! The cafe next door is fantastic as well! Our kids are older, but if you had little ones it is perfect with a large play area adjacent to the cafe. Pack a basketball if you have teenagers 👍☺️ 2 bball rings too! Have already booked our next stay!

Nothing, had a great stay.

The location was great. The price was excellent. The accommodation was Spartan, as it is used a lot for sports groups due to it being in the middle of the sports precinct but it was comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large. There was plenty of free parking and the area is secure of a night.

There was only one chair for 2 people and a microwave would have been handy. Also no security lock on the inside of the door.
