Good location, plenty of off-street parking, club next door for evening meals, nice size room, excellent shower, comfortable bed, good Wifi, quiet.

Nowhere to put your clothes other than leave them in your case on the floor. There was a wardrobe but no drawers. and no stand for the cases. Towels, bathmat and face washer OK but no hand towel which is disappointing at $200 pn. Also, the tea, coffee was not replenished on the first morning, so we had to go and get supplies from Reception. Reception electronic check-in worked OK but not self check-out. Very slow lift to floor 3.

After reading all of the recent reviews, I had very low expectations. But all was good, staff on hand to assist with self check in, brekky available when we wanted it, clean rooms with all amenities we needed. And very close to Sydney Motorsport Park where we were visiting for the weekend. Extra bonus was the Workers club next door (that we could access without having to go outside of the accommodation) with several options for dinner and drinks. Overall a great experience, and would definitely stay again

The only issue we had was a power outage which affected hot showers and breakfast - which was outside of the accommodation providers control. No points lost for that - and they were very quick to accommodate anything anyone needed during the outage that lasted approx 90 minutes

You need to ask for basic toiletry supplies like a toothbrush. I understand the hotel promotes sustainability, reducing wastage. But it's a hassle when trying to get ready in the morning, and the basic toothbrush is not there. Maybe the hotel can consider providing the basic toiletries for the first night of stay and being “sustainable” for the subsequent nights.

Self service check in & out. Easy way in & out ,no hassle ..love it . Location was awesome. Room attended & public area and Reception staff awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 ..they deserve a medal

Staff needs more courtesy training ( not so good customer service)...they were just sitting from the office ( Phillipino lady & an Indian guy) whilst the desk was untended ( a receptionist- an Indian boy was attending a request in the room) untill he arrived then I he came to my attention.( where's the "Heartist " ?...Ps. I am an Accor staff member also...this is not very good...I came there around 11am I understand the room are not ready ,I just wanted to make a payment in advance for a friend who was coming to stay in the room late in the afternoon and that behavior was not acceptable AT ALL😬🤨

Stayed there many times and all was good.

I went down stairs to order breakfast on the Thursday morning. I enquired about the egg & bacon special and the young lady asked me to wait. There was nobody else there at the time. Then another lady came to ask a question and the staff member proceeded to serve her. It may have been a complicated issue because 5-6 minutes later she was still attending to this other lady. I gave up waiting after 10 minutes and walked across to McDonald’s where they had the same breakfast deal.

Check-in- and checkout was assisted. I did not have to do the self checkout... or read any instructions. Easy to find Free to Air TV. I was served a lovely coffee as I was checking out very very early, well before cafe opened.

I would have liked a set of crockery, including a bowl, in my room as I had to leave well before the start of breakfast. I was kindly supplied same when I asked the night before. Ta

The staff were incredibly friendly. The attached Workers Club is a huge bonus. The dining room is a great place to chat with other guests and meet with colleagues.

The housekeeping staff. I ran out of tissues on the third day of my stay and put the empty box and cover on the bed so it was obvious they needed replacing. Didn't happen. Nor did they refill the tea, coffee and sugar sachets.

Welcomed by reception when arriving. He was helpful with self service checkin and very accomodating , we had made mistakingly made a previous booking, he helped with what we had to do next. He also tried to help us with the Chromecast in the room.

I had to call reception to double check the time of checkout , as the cleaner knocked and open our door twice before 11am. I would have appreciated if she waited till after 11am to check, open the door if guests have gone.

Mercure are always welcoming and ready to assist you. Whenever I stay at a Mercure hotel I know I am going to get exceptional service and Mercure Sydney Blacktown provided this. The staff are all lovely and well presented. The hotel has a fresh smell that doesn't whack you in the face like other hotels. The room has a microwave and fridge unlike other hotels that are moving away from providing these amenities to their guests.

The checkin/out service changed since I was last here. Its now all done on a machine which was great. No more queueing up to checking which was a problem before. Also the connection to the club next door is opened.

There is only 1 lift. There is a need for a bigger lift or 2nd lift which isn't so slow. The coffee machine in the breakfast area only provided lukewarm cappuccino and tasteless hot choc. It may have needed to be changed for the hot choc.
