close to paramatta station about ten minutes walk, The room was larger than i expected and a good size desk with chairs and 2 comfy lounge chairs. Room was made up for me on the second day, pleasant surprise. Older style motel but the price for the weekend was at least $150 cheaper than most hotels in the area. The staff were very helpful, especially the kiwi lady. Oh and surprisingly the $250 bond money went back to my account on the same day Sunday. Came down for Rosehill races, backed a few winners, light rail takes about 10 minutes to get there. Also a lot of nice restaurants in Church street.

Really for the price it is just great value, no complaints.

We were looking for a modestly priced pub close to Eat St and the station for a Saturday night event. The welcome was warm, the room included fridge and microwave, the bed was comfy. It is a truly 1970’s experience with pine fittings and bed and it is very well maintained. Eat St and Parramatta Square are a downhill walk as the motel is on the ridge above Parramatta (nice views to the north over the city). 24 hour exception was handy for us.

Sadly, the inviting looking pool is closed (seemingly for maintenance on the street-side wall?). There is a steep $250 key deposit (after damage by previous “partying” guests) but if you pay this by cash it will be immediately returned in checkout.

The staff were really nice, offered to switch us to a room with two beds. Very good location, less than a block from the westfield and not far from the station. Bathroom was small but well maintained and with plenty of amenities. Nothing fancy but a solid place overall, especially for the price. Will definitely say here again when visiting Parramatta!

Elevator was broken on the last day which was a bit bad since we were on the top floor but overall not too bad. Bed seemed small for a queen but was made well and was comfortable.

The NZ woman at reception (Sally, I believe) was extremely friendly, positive and helpful. Such a nice welcome! The room was big, the bed comfortable, location excellent....easy walk to Westfield and train station. Good sized fridge in the room and I appreciated the iron and ironing board.

It is a little dated and worn. A generous person might say it has 'character' but I think its overdue for a renovation. The elevator seems to date from the 1950s (but it worked fine). Bit of damp smell in the hallway. But for the money - great value.

Close to parramatta station

It was “dated” - wifi did not connect, no room service or restaurant. There was a dead cockroach in the room and the place looked “run down” - around the pool the thatched fencing was falling away and parts of the concrete around the carpark have broken away. I used the vending machine in the foyer and bought a chocolate, I unwrapped the chocolate it was old and stale!!!

Very comfortable, private space and very clean. I wish the rubber on the door was fixed properly because it was making the fridge lose coldness but everything was set up well.

I wish the staff was a little more patient with solving changes. I asked for my check out to be extended and I was greeted instead with slight annoyance and inconvenience. Or any question out of the ordinary by the afternoon staff.

I liked the big window for natural light and being able to see the sky. The armchairs were super comfy apart from the edge of the armrest (which should always be rounded, but that's not your fault). Mattress wasn't ideal for my back but you can't cater to everyone's middle-aged aches & pains.

Would have liked better vending machines with more of the slightly healthier type of snacks - sugar-free soft drinks (a variety of them), plain or salted nuts, etc. It was all chips & chocolate.

Super friendly staff members! Great for wanting to stay a few nights in Sydney instead of driving home. The building is old but the rooms are clean and well stocked with tea and coffee

Can't really complain about much. Wouldn't stay longer than three days maybe?

Staying close to cousin's, and a very nice suburban/mini city type part of town instead of the very busy City Centre in Sydney.

The basin and shower taps felt very loose and I felt like I was going to break them accidentally? Also maybe Kayo would have been good to have on the Television?
