The generous size of the room provided ample space to store our belongings and still move around comfortably for our multi-night stay. The beds and pillows were just right Linen was fresh Shower had plenty of pressure and was a great height (particularly for my son who is 6"8!) Though located on a fairly busy road, it was very quiet in the room As a rowing family, the location was very convenient 20min drive to the Regatta Center.

Very helpful and friendly staff even with my last minute late night booking after a personal emergency. Easy to book and easy check in. From booking online after desperately looking for a room last minute, to getting into a comfy bed to sleep was under half an hour.

It would be handy to have a phone charger in the room for guests but I’m not complaining as I asked if I could borrow one and the lovely manager had one for me to use within a few minutes!

We had a lovely stay here. It's by far the best place to stay in Richmond with huge clean rooms and wonderful people. Check ins are a breeze with 24hr access via an automatic pin code system. The carpark is very well laid out with ample space. Linens were white, clean and fluffy and wifi was excellent. Would more than happily recommend here.

Great location. A two minute walk to shopping centre and close to the local public pool - enabled meeting friendly locals who gave great info on eating places and local highlights to visit. The pool was clean and not a lot of people. My motel room was Quiet. Very clean. a very Comfy bed. Excellent linen. Easy free parking. Super easy check in and out. Toaster available (majority do not have this anymore) all up I’d say 10/10

Cannot think of anything I didn’t like

Sometimes you find a place where everything becomes a little easier, those little tasks don't seem so daunting and where comfort and peace isn't forced, it's already there waiting, I think the New inn will find in many years to come that I will be a repeat visitor and will happily give my 10/10 review anyway for a terrific place.

Though not on the main road, it was close to it so walk to rail station was no longer than the other motel which I have used before. Traffic noise very low. Large room with a lounge and long bench space. Samsung TV. Good water pressure. Continual breakfast included for first day of stay. Quality brand tea, coffee and biscuits. Five minute walk to cafes and pizza restaurants. Very clean and well maintained. Great price! Considerably cheaper than other motel.

Fridge motor was a bit noisy but became used to it as slept through it on second night. Older style air conditioner which might have made for interrupted sleep if I had to use it on a hot night. But it cooled well and had no rattles they can get when old. Logging on to wifi had one dead end so ended up using hot spot on phone.

I loved the space in the room, I loved there was a rubber mat in the bath, that there was a dining table, there was cups plates, cutlery had everything (missing a tea towel) but I couldn't really fault anything else.

The bed was just a LITTLE uncomfortable - but was not the worst i have had, and also the shower head could have been better as the water was going everywhere when turned on. Maybe some CLR to clean it or a new head.

Very good value and good location. Communication was easy and the staff were very accommodating when we were coming in a little late. Helen made it very easy for us and even took our order over the phone for our Continental Breakfast, which was included for our family of five. Very clean and well kept room with separate, clean bathroom, ease-of-access shower & amenities. I was worried we would need extra blankets but there were plenty in the wardrobe and air con which warmed the room before bed.

The mattresses were a little disappointing, feeling quite hard, with springs poking through on one of our single beds.

Comfortable and very clean. As female solo traveler I felt safe and secure. The staff where always easy to speak with and attended to any queries.

Only down fall was the shower being in the bathtub, being a mature person I found it a little awkward however it wasn't a huge issue.

Location was excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, specifically a very polite and hardworking man who, as well as looking after motel and customers, was constantly working on the gardens and making the property look beautiful.

Rooms need upgrading. Little bit old and worn out
