Close to the Racecourse which was where the event was we were attending. The bed was almost too soft but by night 2 I slept like a log but had to I get rid of the doona. I was overheated by the polyester or whatever it is made from so was just covered in the sheets.

Hallway smelt a bit musky and did have a big stain on the carpet. I needed a lift to get upstairs but it wasn’t working so I struggled up the stairs We didn’t stay the third night as we just wanted to get home. The shower was within a bathtub. The handrail was very good but it was a bit a scary for me.

Neat and tidy room which was very conveniently located for the event we were attending. We arrived late after normal check in time and were given helpful instructions for how to check in. Great to have a room with a microwave as most hotels don't have this. Love that it had its own parking spot underneath as well.

Doesn't seem like there was a fan in the bathroom so if you have a hot shower the entire room is wet! Good if you need to steam your clothes though.

I was greeted by Susan who is made for working in hospitality. She was so welcoming, smiling and very helpful with directions and a run down of the room and facilities. To my surprise, Susan upgraded my room which I had never experienced before and am very grateful. When I checked out, I thanked Susan and an assistant and said I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back with friends to stay in summer so we can make use of the beautiful pool. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, convenient and lovely night, weekend or week away, I fully recommend this place and be sure to be nice to Susan as she is a gem.

I have returned to this motel every year for the last 10 years because it’s location is perfect for my attendance at a state orchid (flower) show, held at that location. This motel is in perfect condition (almost as good as when it was new - carpet in hallway a little worn these days but clean and cared for. My room had a queen a single and a fold out sofa (just for me). Highly recommend

It’s a little more expensive than surrounding accomodation but clean, quiet and classy

the room was very spacious couldn't have had a better room. Very close to race course which is why we booked. Quiet no noisy nights and the best thing was there was a lift if you have problems with stairs.

Had to book a disabled room as all other rooms have shower over bath and I needed a walk in shower which meant I had to pay more rather than a basic room. Also the bed was directly facing the aircon which was blowing on you all night I would suggest they change there room arrangement by swapping the bed and couch.

A fabulous venue, excellent facilities with access to additional services, water & power for our particular needs - washing dogs for our big show. An additional thought to make it extra special would be to have an enclosed dog run area for pets which was discussed with the lovely lady on reception, we also discussed not allowing cars, vans or tailers with dogs to park under the rooms, we did not but thinking for the future as to not disturb other leisure quests, it would be wise idea to mention that all dog event people park their vehicles containing dogs in the carpark away from the rooms. If this does not suit the guests, then they are aware up front and can choose another venue. With more 'dog events' happening due to the fabulous new pavilion over in the show grounds opposite, this motel is very attractive for its easy access and super accommodation & facilities so would hate it spoiled by those who may take not be considerate to others. We enjoyed our stay and would happily come again, its truly the best in the area, thank you and hope to see you soon. Ann O'Keefe

Spotless rooms really well appointed with kitchen lounge etc Great air conditioning and the beds were really comfortable Loved the pool too Great atmosphere lovely and peaceful yet close to railway for transport and close to Windsor and Richmond Really good value for money Be a great place for a weekend at the races The breakfast was really nice There is also a great pub next door that has amazing food and great lunch specials We will stay again if we come to Sydney very convenient location

The lovely reception on arrival. The room and ensuite were very clean. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchenette provided various teas, coffee, and hot chocolate, biscuits, and milk, which was very much needed after the long drive. Kettle and toaster provided. We had our own car space near our room and a pool. It was our second time staying there and will stay there again 😊

Nothing, it was great

The room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, comfy couch, comfy bed and all of the streaming apps on TV to make it a pleasant experience. The area was so quiet, will definitely stay again

There was a mix up with the after hours check in and I had to speak to someone again even though I'd already done it a few days beforehand, but the person on the phone was helpful (although having to read my credit card details out in public was a bit nerve wracking)
