Air conditioning, comfy bed, price, convenience, pub and bistro - especially monday night $15 steak special.
Availability of hot water in room early in morning was sporadic. I let it run and run in the shower but it didn't come through. I had to keep turning on and off a few times before it would work. I'm not sure if there is some kind of knack to it I didn't know about. No microwave or toaster, crockery or cutlery. I bought bread (toast) and cereal with me to self cater breakfast and not even a bowl. Just a jug, mugs and one teaspoon for coffee/tea. But I should not have assumed they would be available.

The room was clean & it was far enough from the general noise of the nightlife at the tavern. Other guests around your room can get a little rowdy at times, so keep that in mind. The rooms are comfortable.
The Bathrooms are extremely small & would be no good for those with mobility issues. There is WAY TOO MUCH LIGHT coming into the room from the pathway access lights outside. The Curtians in the room are thick but the light comes in through the sides. Possible idea for this would be to put a blockout blind recessed into the window.

Clean, room was cool when we arrived aircon on, king size bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. Has bar fridge and usb charging wall sockets. So convenient that the bar and bistro were attached and close. Even has a bottle-o. Steak with mushroom sauce recommended and the housemade garlic bread was so nice and crunchy, not like the supermarket/dominos ones you get these days. Bar is pretty good - got a nice Long Island tea.
Shower and how floors get super wet as shower curtain was super short and the flooring wasn’t designed well.

The staff accommodated our request for an additional key (in case of a medical emergency). Showed us to our room. Provided an iron and ironing board upon request.
Bathroom on the small side but adequate for the short time needed. Dumpster was outside my window and was used after 11pm. Fly screen was not fitted properly and meant mosquitoes got in. Room was clean but the smell of the cleaning products was a bit overwhelming (smelt like a hanging car freshener)

As stated…clean, quiet & comfortable. Being attached to the Tavern was fabulous as the food was terrific & $6 schooners until 6pm was a surprise! Location suited my purpose as it wasn’t far from Sydney Motorsport Park. I’ll stay again when I come down to Sydney for future events.
Would’ve like more access to other Foxtel or sport channels. I’m a Motorsport fan but couldn’t get the F1….but that’s just me.😂😂

As everyone comments, the staff here are awesome, from checkin onwards. The bistro has great food and very good pricing, with table service, My room was a little small, (but really how much time are you going to spend in your room? ) but very clean and properly supplied. At the price it is a great option for short city stays.
Small grumble, but my room didn't have a chair, which I would have preferred.

Very small but worth the money. The tavern is amazing, have a drink and a game of keno then eat. Meals are good
We received a knock on the door at 2am by security trying to place a patron in a room for the rest of the night. Quite odd that they didn’t read the bookings to see our room was occupied. Glad I had my husband with me as it was quite a shock.

It’s basic and clean at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly, courteous and went above and beyond in service.
No hot water in the shower. I kept forgetting to let the staff know this. I only remembered when I went to have my usual shower in the morning and discovered that I couldn’t. I love my showers to be hot or at least warm.

The room was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and it was convenient to rooty hill were I went to see a jimmy barnes concert :)
It would of been nice if there was a table and a chair in the room for some where to eat and have my laptop instead of on the bed and the doors on the tall boy were broken and it would be nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom apart from that all good
