The place was brilliant. My boys were so sad to leave. They catered so well to families from the location of the room, the friendly staff, the heated indoor pool and even a kids game room! The highlight was definitely the buffet breakfast that we all looked forward to daily. The beds were comfortable and the pictures of the rooms do not do their size justice. I also appreciated the teams excellent communication. All email queries were responded to so promptly! On our day of check in there had been a storm and we got a courtesy call to let us know the power was out awaiting to be fixed (thankfully all sorted by the time we arrived). Thank you Crowne Plaza team for a wonderful stay!

Dining options were great for adults. The lolly/slushy station at the reception was a great idea. Staff were always friendly and approachable. Christmas display was very chic and perfect for family photos. Bed and pillows were so comfortable, made for a sound night sleep. Rooms had adequate sound buffers so we didn't hear our neighbours at all.

Not an extensive kids menu outside of the usual suspects. Not enough chairs/lounges by the pool. TV did not work for the duration of stay (I would have packed an iPad for my child if I knew). Wifi was free though reception was very slow, the little bit of work I needed to do took twice as long due to the connection speed.

Attended for a wedding. From the time we drove through the entrance to the time we left 3 days later I felt very comfortable in the whole setting, from drinks and nibbles at the Barrel Bar, the spa, the very generous and fresh breakfast area, walking around the grounds, undertaking the 4.9 walking trail (map provided), the staff - all in all 10/10. My only criticism is the phone reception (talking with family over West, I lost connection many times and also….. I had a lot of problems with the TV. One night the guide was empty with no channels and no data available. Being older, I also had trouble with the Google Chromecast. Perhaps clearer written instruction sheet in the room could be produced. Other than those 2 problems, my stay was excellent.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Pool and play equipment good for kids. Buffet breakfast was nice. Staff helpful.

Room service wasn’t great. Husband ordered a pulled pork roll as advertised on the app menu for $20 - this ended up being 4x small spring rolls 🤷‍♀️ I got the curry and it seemed like it had sat there all afternoon. My kids had worlds most expensive cheese toasties. I get that room service is expensive but after a whole day driving from Melbourne we just couldn’t be bothered but I would have expected better quality food for the $$$

Room and staff were Great!

Had lunch there, was not very good as my wife left half behind on her plate as did the other guests that had purchased lunch that day, also very expensive for what it was. also my daughter left her ph charger in the room and when I called they said they would send a form to sign stating that we would pay the postage, but no idea how much and never received the email, after spending approx $600 for food and accommodation I thought that you could have posted it as were located in Mid North coast of NSW

Nice setting, comfortable room, pool, steam room, table tennis, gym.. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

They should take away kids corner for breakfast, to much sugar, chocolate and cookies with sprinkles and gummy snakes… oily churros…don’t belong on breakfast table. And would be nice to put automatic door towards the rooms as it is at the entrance because the one there are so heavy to open and when you have full hands, luggage and a child it’s awkward and no one around to help.

The resort feel, being close to town, the food was amazing, a comfortable room, the bar, the day spa (which was amazing by the way - highly recommend it), room service, and friendly staff. My husband and I really felt we were on holidays, not just staying in a hotel room. We also made friends and enjoyed celebrating NYE there.

Unfortunately, while we were there, the hotel had a problem with the TV service. Other than that everything was fantastic.

We loved the Crowne plaza. The weather was cold and we enjoyed the cosy restaurant and the open fire. We also had an afternoon drink in the bar which was enjoyable. We had a cocktail and a small cheese platter . The breakfast buffet was delicious with coffees to order. Very nice in the gazebo. I saw a beautiful indoor pool and a bit of a playground for kids. Of course it is right on the golf course for golfers and close to Windsor. The rooms were comfortable and there was free parking onsite. Everything we needed for a weekend escape.

There was nothing to not like

The facilities, staff, environment, atmosphere, rooms, everything was perfect. All staff in reception, restaurant, bar, and breakfast Cafe, were so nice and friendly. Make me feel welcome. Especially, since it was close to Windsor station. 10 mins by walking. So, for travellers, and backpackers, it would be a good location. The food in the restaurant was decent too. And the prices are reasonable. And there was a big lake having nice view. It was a great moment to walk in the night too. Definitely, we will go back there. If you have plan to go Windsor, stay in this hotel. 101% recommend:)

Breakfast was good value with menu and preparation very good, everything was hot when it arrived and the variety was outstanding.

Booking.com kept changing the date to a month later each time I paid. It did this 3 times before I realised I had to book direct with the hotel. Ultimately Booking.com took my money and no refunds available and no way to contact them to request a credit for their stuffed up system. Not happy with Booking.com. Recommend just book with the hotel always.
