The room was large, clean and modern and we will stay again if needed. Everything you could want for an overnight stay. Close to town for dining or shopping. We enjoyed our meals in the bistro as well.

Only negative about the room was that the bathroom tap couldn't be turned off completely so it ran all night... we had to place a face washer in the sink to lesson the noise. I did leave a note in rom about this when we left. The double bed had us rolling into the middle but not too much of an issue.

This is my second stay here. It was a very clean room. Well located for my Show at The Hub up the street. The front desk staff member was excellent, There was a heater with a long extension cord, and a spare blanket as it was cold overnight in Springwood. Overall it was very good value for the cost. Undercover parking was appreciated and the after hours access was easy from the car park.

The website said there would be toiletries, but there were none. Not even a bar of soap. And I had forgotten mine, so it was an issue. Perhaps the cleaner forgot to replenish. Also the little long life milk was lumpy, so I think it had been there a while.

-Easy check in at the bar and easy check out by placing the key in the box when leaving -friendly and helpful staff -clean room and bathroom with a tv, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, blankets, heater and fan and a view of the train station -private access to rooms without walking through pub -nice pub downstairs with bistro, tab, keno, pool table and great variety of beers -walking distance to public transport, shops, restaurants and bush walks -would recommend for a weekend away

Prefer room 8..there on first visit.. as room 5 was noisy from the band and patrons...but earplugs helped! The room was roomy and good value but mould in the shower could be easily cleaned. Rest of room was very clean. There was a wet patch on carpet near table..suspect the heavy rain... maybe a leak in ceiling?? Bistro was great with lovely food and cheap drinks. We will be back but will ask for a room at the back of pub as we need our sleep!!

Hotel was located withing 5min walk to the function we needed to attend. Most convenient. the rooms were very clean. My double room was quiet with no noise even the trains did not interfere with our stay. staff super friendly

in the hot weather, Ceiling fans did not make the rooms comfortable - they were hot and stuffy and we were unable to rest in the afternoon before our event the single room facing the main road was a little noisey till about 1.30am

As the hotel is on the rail line it was surprisingly quiet. The room was small but big enough for two twin beds and a two night stay. It was good value for money as the location is central to the town.

It is not a place for less mobile guests though there was a disabled lift in garage but no instructions to call it if it was working. The common area kitchen would have been useful to know about on the web information.

Proximity to shops and transport

Wasnt provided with towels so had to buy myself and the flyscreen wire had lots of holes so i got attacked by mosquitoes having needed to keep window open due to the extreme outside heat making the room uncomfortably hot inside with ceiling fan not doing much to cool down.

Springwood is beautiful, has more to offer than the area around central station Sydney and it is worth the rail trip

the musician on one night who should take singing lessons and learn a few more chords on his guitar before he entertains the public.

The room was excellent. Large and comfortably firnished. Location directly opposite the station was excellent with lots of local shops open. The hotel offers good pub food with a good atmosphere. No hotel patron noise and the freight trains are not too noisy.

Meals were awesome, all staff were very happy and helpfull

Beds and pillows could do with changing and the tv didn't work
