I was heading to Leonay for the weekend and the resort was a great location for where I needed to go. Even though I got there after the reception had closed I had great instructions to collect my keys and found my cabin. the room was clean and had every thing I needed. The only thing I would say is that there wasn't much light in the room. I really needed a bit more light. There were some great restaurants and cafes close by which was useful. I will definitely stay again next time I need to go to Leonay.

The mattress’s on all the beds and the fold out beds are extremely uncomfortable. Also whilst we were there the we had to get out of the pool as the pool maintenance guy had shown up. The pool was then out of order for the rest of the day. We were told it would be ready for the next day, which it wasn’t. So we were told we could swim in the residents only pool. Whilst we were in there for literally 20 mins, the permanent residents (ladies) came out and complained and were very unhappy at us. We chose to stay here because of the pool and the environment so to be complained at by the ladies and not have access to the pool was a bummer.

Just an overnighter after seeing a show in Sydney. Cabin was clean & comfortable. Convenient to eating places & the river. Had all the basics, so met our expectations. Good aircon & plus marks for a fan in each bedroom & ice-cubes in the freezer,

Just some fixes needed in Cabin 17: Exhaust fan in the toilet is about to seize or explode. The bearings are completely shot & rumble like a 747 taking off. The door-handle on the microwave oven is broken. Other than that, all good.

A quiet little park near the river, close to some amazing cafes. We stayed twice in the space of the week and a bit that we were in Penrith, after the first few nights in one of the smaller hotel rooms, when we returned we decided to stay in a cabin. Both had sufficient room for our stay, the staff were super helpful and great to interact with!

Only thing the cabins need is a pair of tongs and a cutting board for the kitchen! Other than that, everything was great!

Myself and 7 girlfriends were staying at Gateway Park celebrating a big birthday amongst us. I really liked how helpful Kristy was in making our stay a memorable one, and she had answered my many questions with a smile and a solution to various requests I made ie. making sure there were enough wine glasses, seating in the cabin etc., transport info to get to Panthers for dinner and show we were attending. The 2 cabins we booked were clean and spacious, quite aged yet everything was well maintained.

I guess it would’ve been nice to have an outdoor, undercover area somewhere near the BBQ area to lounge around, but that would just have been my only dislike. We had a great stay.

The beautiful location on the Nepean River, yet close to everything you could possibly need and easy short run back to M4. Could only stay for one night this time, but will be booking a longer stay next week. Kristy at reception was awesome, absolutely best part of my whole trip was staying at Nepean Shores! Beats the "supposedly" 5 star Pullman by a country mile, way better everything! 😊

The location is right in the heart of Penrith, close to all attractions, such as Cable Water Park. The hotel has all the facilities, including a swimming pool, BBQ, and some cabins have a kitchen

We’ve got a deluxe cabin and it was pretty outdated, so it didn’t feel a deluxe experience. I feel like furniture and the AC have to be upgraded. Also, the smell wasn’t the best when we arrived.

Very clean and modern cabin and well kept grounds. Location is fantastic with the river across the road, and a lot of restaurants just a bit further down the road. Staff are very organised and checkin/key collection was well managed and thoughtful.

I did think my cabin had a cooktop and turned up with groceries (as per photos), but it didn’t. There is a BBQ area next to the pool with very good and very clean BBQ.

Good value for money. Close to popular cafes and restaurants, parklands and playground. We choose to stay here whenever in the area as it is good for one night. On this occasion we stayed here and drove to a concert at Accor Stadium. The room had a microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge. Good size bathroom. Bedside tables. Had an interconnecting door which is a handy option for those in a larger group. Good parking. Lovely pool area. Lots of trees and birds which creates a peaceful setting.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, these are the things that are a bit annoying but wouldn't stop us returning. The floorboards in the room (5c I think) were squeaky, which didn't really bother us but may have disturbed neighbouring rooms at 1am. Skylight in bathroom needs a refresh. Blockout blinds would be good, but not essential. Bedside lamps would also be handy but not essential. The pillows were very flat. The road that is behind this room, Tench Ave, can have some noisy cars during the night but overall it is a relatively quiet location near the river and well priced.

Cabin was clean and functional. Split system worked great keeping the cabin comfortable all night.

Pool was advertised as open 9am-9pm 7 days, however these hours are for summer months only. May-Aug closes at 6pm so kids were a bit bummed they couldn't go for a quick swim when we checked in at 6. Not a big issue or anything though.
