Our room was spotless, which was a pleasant surpise because it was filthy on our last visit. We had a family room with a double bed and two singles, with plenty of space for 3 adults. We stayed 3 nights. We loved having dinner next door at the Leagues Club each night. The dining was expensive, but many choices for selection and made the visit memorable.

Very surprising that being attached to the Panthers Leagues Club no one on staff promoted a temporary Club membership like they use to many years ago but we found great savings on dining and drinks the second night by signing up at the Club itself. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to eat at Kelly's Bar and Kitchen. The meals are expensive but amazingly delicious. Other eateries are not owned by the club and have no discount. Frustrating that the older adjoining motel carpark is not just for motel customers but for anyone visiting the club, and had to park in the farther expanded carparking. Watched people carrying toddlers and luggage from far away when a simple boomgate could be installed for Motel patrons.

The hotel was close to some great food and entertainment options and had very convenient room service available. My room was cleaned every day and felt fresh when I returned to my room. It was a good sized room and there were a couple of tables to sit at perfect for when travelling for work.

I would have liked bottled water in the room as it would be nicer than tap water, and there was no cutlery in the room either. I would have also preferred usb inputs on the power outlets instead of having to use a usb adapter

I've stayed at the mecure numerous times, it's a good location, particularly if Ur staying at panthers. The rooms are always well appointed, and modern.

The mecure is fast tracking zero contact. They are part of the Accor group. You can actually check in with seeing staff, and even download a digital key to your room on your smart phone. I'm of two minds about this. It's excellent and fast tracks you into your room, but there's no contact with staff or personal attention. Mind you, I got my key from staff as I couldn't get the Accor app to work.

Comfortable, spacious room. Easy check-in checkout. Nearby eateries. Friendly concierge and coffee and snacks

Difficult to manage wet clothing after a sporting event. Glad we only needed 2 nights and had only 1 wet day. Then when it rained we had to sign up to be a social member of Club Panther to use the adjoining door to where the restaurants were. I am not a club supporter. That was a little collusive. Chose to get wet instead. There was a little evening noise created by excited sporting club members who had a large tournament that weekend.

The property was amazing I stayed here for 3 days. The Penrith club is right next door other places are right at your fingertips. Westfield is just down the road & lucky for me the sporting event I had to drive to was only 10minutes away great location. Great stay. Great staff.

There were heaps of bindis in the pool area which wasn’t nice. The room was freezing when we got there & it was hard to work out the controls for the aircon. It’s also a bugger that you have to walk all the way around to enter the club but the Mercure has a private exit from the club. Would be great if they had a private entry too.

Room was big, clean and pretty much had everything you needed Bed and pillows were big and comfy Location was excellent. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, right next to panthers club so plenty of entertainment and places to eat. Staff were all so friendly and helpful!

I know you are trying to be plastic free, which is awesome, but no liners in the bin was just wrong. We put a paper bag in there but ended up with a big bin liner anyway. The shower was really hard to get right for some reason. You either got burnt or frozen, finding that tiny mm of perfection was hard, having said that, the pressure was really good.

-location is perfect -comfy bed -young male staff was absolutely lovely (made our stay so positive) -spacious room -lots of activities right outside hotel for all ages -didnt need to travel or drive anywhere so that was handy. -nice big shower -room was cleaned and fresh towels etc daily (so that was a nice surprise)

- would be nice if 2x pillows per guest, 1 wasnt enough each. but that was the only lil negative

The Mercure in Penrith is one of our favourite places to visit. We go on an annual holiday there every year with a few families. So many different types of rooms, really flexible, perfect location for the World of Entertainment and super comfortable.

Odd that this time the room wasn't cleaned altogether that well (found a chip on the bedside table and a snotty tissue on the desk). The batteries in the tv weren't working and there was some broken glass outside our door that hadn't been cleaned for a few days. Attention to detail was a bit lacking I guess, but they resolved all the issues once informed. Just weird.

The Mecure Penrith was a very clean and comfortable hotel. I was travelling for work and only stayed the night but they were very accommodating and flexible for late night check-in. The room was massive and everything was impeccably clean. It was nice to have coffee/tea (I had a green tea before bed) and I love that you could QR code from your phone and steam directly to the TV (eg. Netflix). The bed was comfortable and all the toiletries like bodywash, moisturiser were good quality.

The price was expensive for the location. It would have been cheaper to pay for a hotel in Japan.

Love being able to grab a delicious dinner right next door at the club. My room was a good size basic room. Great shower pressure and hot. Good night's sleep and quiet on the fifth floor.

Still hate that this motel doesn't put a boom gate up and allocate the old motel carpark for patrons only. Sucks to drive around and around the huge outer carparks looking for the elusive car space.
