Friendly staff, Simply the Best Pub feed out 😀. Never had a bad feed there 😋 yummy food. The room was clean and spacious, and we had our own ensuite, which was great. It's not noisy at all and very quiet. Would recommend it to anyone. 😊

The blinds did not go all the way down. They only covered the slats at the top of the windows and still had a whole metre of window, making the room way too light, coming from the street light. The bed was not the most comfortable, but not the worst we've stayed at either. 🫠

Well situated near the train station and shops. The service was welcoming and friendly. The meals in the restaurant were very well priced and delicious.

My main issue was that I was woken by people speaking loudly outside and downstairs from our window. It sounded as though they were in the room. There were also no double bed options. I can manage stairs, but my back does better when I can stretch out in my sleep.

Location was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and communication was very quick. We forgot few things in our room and ask them to post it to us. Simon was very helpful and was kind enough to send the items via post. Thank you and we enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom could improve bit more. Door to enter the stairs was faulty few times.

It was comfortable, clean, and felt safe and private. The room was nothing fancy but nice enough to feel at home for one night, and had enough space to store my things and make tea without tripping over stuff (which I can’t say for all rooms above pubs). There was plenty of free parking on site (I stayed a Sunday night). The staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee provisions, soap, shampoo, and towels were provided. The mini fridge had a tiny freezer compartment too!

It was a little noisy at times due to events being held nearby. The bathroom could use an update but it was still fit for purpose.

The staff was friendly. The beers were cheap. The courtesy bus took us to where we needed to go. Next time I got a concert at Rooty Hill I'll be staying for sure

We got steak with mushroom sauce. Didn't like the sauce but other than that it was real good. Only had a couple bites because we had to get the courto.

Room was cheap and had the amenities expected. Stayed here specifically because I only planned to really sleep there. So it had everything I wanted for that price point. Good price if looking for a cheap room.

Honestly exactly as I expected.

It was close to where I needed to be. They accommodated an early checkin for me. Food in the bistro was good too.

For my needs it was all i needed. Never park your car out the front under the trees, your car might get bombed by parrot poop.

Pretty much everything. I had dinner in the bistro; my chicken schnitzel was superb!

It's in a dodgy neigbourhood; I know, because I lived in Doonside for 3+ years. And the night I stayed (Saturday the 21st), whilst I was booking in, a cop walked in (something had happened in the gaming area)

Beautiful Art Deco hotel in an excellent location with adjacent waterfront park, and plenty of free on-street parking. On a cul-de-sac with no traffic noise.

The only small downside was a bit of noise from patrons downstairs and closing the windows didn't entirely cut it out, but I like staying in old pubs when on a roadtrip so a bit of noise is to be expected in that environment.
