The facilities and location were great, beautiful landscaping and very picturesque.

I understand each property is individually owned, however there should be a certain consistent minimum standard across them. Our property/townhouse (437) had no broom, no drying rack, no dustpan and handle, no cereal bowls, only one chair outside on the ground floor terrace, so very minimal amenities in the townhouse. We were staying at Raffertys with a big group across 7-8 of their properties, so were able to compare and observe how there had been more thought and consideration put into ensuring their townhouses/cottages were equipped adequately.

The heated pool made our stay! It was lashing down with rain on two of our days and we had 9 kids to entertain so the heated pool was a lifesaver! So warm with a roof to keep the rain off and big enough for all of us. The jacuzzi was a plus and even warmer. The kids loved the bubbles and the shallower pool for the littlies was great too. Fishing on the jetty and availability of bait and fishing equipment and bottleshop on site were a major bonus too.The food at the Tavern was good and we managed to get a girly trivia night while the dads took the kids home for bed. The whole resort felt very safe and everything was close by and easy accessible for all. Will definitely come back:)

The aircon didn't seem to work well in our unit (412) and we couldn't work out if it had a timer changing the settings or not. I'm sure this could have been sorted if we'd asked to be honest but we didn't look into it.

Great unit set-up, good to have ensuite in each room, spacious living room, acceptable kitchen, beautiful grounds, great facilities and location, yummy food options at tavern.

Not directly linked to Rafferty's - The late checkout call centre took a very long time to answer and then didn't have our details on file for some reason. Could have been a very long wait to resolve if we weren't lucky enough that the desk staff hadn't left yet. Dishwasher advertised on booking but there was none, didn't affect our stay as we were only there for 2 nights but good to clarify.

Rafferty’s Resort is a peaceful resort just 15 mins south of Blacksmiths so a great location to stay for a surf life saving carnival at Swansea Belmont Surf Club. With 4 swimming pools and tennis courts there’s always a pool close by. The main pool has an amazing view of the lake with tables to sit at and enjoy the view, whilst having a bite to eat and a drink watching over the kids. The resort has its own boat ramp and place to store water craft. There are signs saying “Free range children so max 15km/hr” so the kids are safe. They are getting their restaurant back up and running which will add value to the resort.

Townhouse 407 is probably in original condition (circa 90s perhaps) and in need of a reno of bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen could do with a dishwasher too. No-one looks forward to going on holiday and having to wash dishes. There were other minor issues like rusted out downpipes, squealing pipes, etc. but it was still clean, tidy and did the job. New couches wouldn’t go astray either.

Great resort facilities were great, we had multiple units and all family members agrees ot was situated not far from cbd swansea and Catherine Hill Bay. Spacious lots of parking. Pools were beautiful. staff were lovely as well.

The floor was dirty, had to wear thongs around in the magenta house. It was quite over priced for 2 nights though. Ashame that the big pool facility wasn't able to be used amd the restaurant wasn't opened. If this was then it would be better to spend all the time at the resort.

Raffertys is so well situated on beautiful grounds with a stunning view of the Lake. The facilities on offer for families are excellent and would entice us to come back for a longer stay with the kids. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view and located nice and close to reception, which was convenient as we were staying for a wedding on site. We made great use of our cute balcony with a little water view.

Our apartment was a little tired in places - old fittings, squeaking pipes, tired carpets. It could use a bit of love to modernise it. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't in operation during our stay but reception still made a good coffee and toasted sandwich for brekkie!

Gorgeous property in a gorgeous location with fabulous pools, BBQs & boating plus great little shop on site too. Loved the lake sunset, natural bush setting & bird life Accommodation had everything we needed. Handy to lots of beaches & beautiful coastal walks too.

Reception closed before our 5:30pm arrival time on Friday - despite email saying it would be open until 5:30pm & also on website. Considering most guests would come on Fridays for a weekend it was bizarre. Staff (younger girl) driving property bus around fast & not giving way to guests twice. We tried to get pool towels on Saturday after we went boating but reception was closed again. Lady on reception on Sunday seemed nice. Very disappointed Lake Bar closed on a Summers weekend in December- it’s an awesome venue & location & one of the reasons we chose this accommodation as everything was here. We didn’t realize it wasn’t going to be open! We spent our money at the awesome Caves Beach Hotel instead for both dinner & lunch.

The house size was perfect. As parents of the groom we needed to have space for family photos and all before the ceremony. After the wedding the family all came back for tea and coffee and the following morning we hosted breakfast for the immediate family at the house which was perfect.

Smelt a little musty but likely due to the wet weather at the time.

The resort was great - lots of swimming pools from which to choose. The location is excellent as it is on the lake.

The only small complaint I have is the fact there was only one outside chair on the verandah when it was a house that fits four adults (House no 404). A suggestion to the owners would be to have a few foldable garden chairs in the laundry which could be used if necessary.

Pool area, so close to lake. Very friendly staff . Loved all the different heights wirh the pool, ideal for my son who we are trying to get used to the pool We came for a family reunion & to celebrate my sister's birthday. We took our son who is 3 to the beach for the first time. It's a great place to stay & we are planning to come back. We have told other family members to stay here.

Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours on Saturday night that used offensive language from 9am till about 1am.. Tiny things no broom to sweep patio off, & oven was not clean.
