We had a spacious room with a view of the lake and a small balcony. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated having a sofa on which we could sit to watch television and relax. We also had a table with comfortable chairs, a coffee table and desk with a desk chair. We also appreciated having good air conditioning, adequate size fridge, a kitchen sink, toaster, plates, cups and cutlery. There was also a modern microwave which we didn't need to use. The staff were accommodating and friendly and it was easy to check in and out.

I noticed that a light fixture at the desk did not have a light globe, however that was not really an issue.

Booked last minute and was upgraded to a family spa room on arrival. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Spacious bathroom and kitchenette had everything needed for a couple days stay. Despite being on main room was quiet at night. Didn’t use pool but it looked sparkling.

No complaints about room however the property could do with a tidy-up. Front nature strip and weeding needed doing . An external paint job would be great but judging by the newness of the rooms perhaps it’s an ongoing refurbishment.

Location was perfect with easy access to UTurn point and back street exit is close to Readhead beach. Room was big, beds very comfy. Shower head great, pressure and hot water great. Small details like they service the room daily. Provide tea towels, dish washing soap, microwave and kettle. Big TV with YouTube and WiFi. Pool. Aircon worked great.

Due to them being super busy the room was a bit dusty near the lamps etc. It could do with a a deep clean/dust. Car park spots are tight for those who don’t know how to park. Room 6 the door handle needs to be fixed as had issues getting in and out. Pool could be cleaned considering it’s summer and we used it daily and cleaned it myself

The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay long or short term. I really liked how it had somewhere to sit and eat as well as arm chairs and a microwave. The room was well lit and very clean.

If I had to give one negative it would be that there is not allocated parking outside your room it’s park anywhere that there’s a spot. The afternoon we checked in it was raining and we had to run back down the car park to our room with our luggage and the same in the morning when we left.

Loved the pool! Comfortable beds, power points by the bed. Right across the road from the lake and an easy walk to town. Full length mirror! Easy to park.

The tv was too big for the space it was in and blocked the way to the bathroom. Incredibly irritating, would be better to have a smaller tv that you don’t have to manoeuvre around every time you need the toilet!

Compared to other accommodation near by and closer to Newcastle this was well priced and conveniently located with a great view across the road of the lake. It was a basic room with everything you’d expect in it. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I was at the back of the property and couldn’t hear any traffic which was nice. The shower took a while to heat up but when it did it was a nice hot shower with good pressure. Parking onsite is good but probably not suitable for longer vehicles or cars with bikes on the back as driveway is rather narrow.

The signage out the front isn’t visible when coming north from Newcastle so it’s easy to miss, no lights out the front didn’t help. They currently have construction fencing around the pool at the front of the property making it harder to notice the property especially after dark (June 23)

Although on the highway the rooms are located behind the front office and are amazingly quiet. Also the entrance to the rooms there is only a front door, no windows, so no noise from guests parking cars. A full wall of windows faces north with a door opening onto a small area. Excellent kitchen, spotlessly clean, good beds. All for $100 a night.

There's a sign on the front door of the office saying...office unattended for 15 minutes, please call this number. we did, no response. Waited 10 minutes, just happened to notice a door bell, rang that and a young man came straight out from a room off the office. Sign still on the sliding door the next morning....with the office staff sitting inside. Please remove it

Location was very scenic being opposite the lake and proximity to shops and restaurants, bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, room very clean on arrival would highly recommend this as accommodation to stay at value for money will definitely stay again when I travel to Belmont

We stayed in October 2024 just for 1 night. Everything was clean, and our room was upgraded to a room with a spa. Which we really appreciated after having a tough day with overbooking at another hotel that left us on the street at night with nowhere to go. This hotel is a good value for money.

In the end room was okay size for my family. Good location. Big bathroom.

Was a mix up with check in.. someone had already been checked into our room so wasnt quite the room id expected - according to the pics for the room id originally booked.. would stay again though
