The late arrival check-in was very efficient and easy to manage. The room was really well set out and spacious. I needed to get dinner and really appreciated being on Darby St with a nice kebab shop nearby. The bed was large and comfortable, with an assortment of pillows of various firmness. Felt like the hosts had tried to think of everything.

Without curtains, it was difficult to achieve full darkness, even after closing the louvred windows on the balcony. The shower was great but it would be better suited to a modern shower area and not a bathtub. The taps were at the very end of the bath, and it was not easy to safely adjust the temperature.

The hotel is ideally located in close proximity to city venues and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The studio room had a well equipped Kitchenette with a Microwave & Hotplate allowing in room food preparation if required. A balcony off the room allowed for eating outdoors in fine weather. I experienced virtually no noise at all from the property or surrounding streets. The bed was really comfortable allowing for a good night's sleep. The 42" Smart TV on the wall was great to watch compared to the small tv's in many other hotels. I will definitely stay here again.

Negative point is that the reception is not attended between 5pm and 8am, thus there is no one to contact in case of issues. Access through digital code is at first cumbersome and annoying but I got used to it, and it wasn't a problem at the end (maybe it could be for older citizen)

My room was just over the garage access so I hear the roller door (slow and noisy ) a few times

The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. This place would be ideal for a longer stay than we had, and it's an easy walk to the waterfront. The room is quite spacious, and a lovely patio to sit on. The main street of Darby is full of great eateries, coffee shops, bars and entertainment. It was very good value IMO for the money we spent. The front desk staff was very helpful and easy to talk to and helped me with laundry services on site, as well as helping me to place calls (as I'm from out of country)

A small table inside. We had to move the patio table inside so I could work, but that really wasn't a major problem. Other than that it was quite great.

handy to town, clean, WONDERFUL STAFF Comfortable bed. Wifi worked well, plenty space in the unit. I didn't use the t=v but expect I might have enjoyed it Loved the pigeons roosting at night-very soothing!!

poor equipment-no bowls to use in microwave until I asked, no kitchen knife, only 1 spoon in the drawer. I think that if a kitchenette is advertised, it might have basic equipment pertinent to the facilities provided. Fridge needed defrosting-icebox iced up and preventing closure of door.Therefore always melting and flooding fridge LOUD thumping music until 12PM on Fri and Sat

Hotel was well appointed and located in the city centre and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and the spa bath was a bonus, same as the big TV screen. It was great to be able to use your own streaming services. Staff were nice. Hotel has front desk limited operating hours so be sure you have your key with you when you leave the hotel.

The balcony had some type of Venetian blind instead of a standard window. No fly screen so bugs could get in, I kept the balcony door closed because of that.

Great communication and easy to access the property as we were arriving outside of reception hours. Rooms clean and well stocked (except for no bread knife?!) and a great bonus was to have security parking in such a busy street.

Noone's fault but our room was quite dark and lights were needed on at any time of the day. Also again not the fault of the apartment but the restaurant directly across the road from our room liked to play their music very loud at any time of the day and night!

Crown on Darby's location is centerally located on Darby road with quite a few happening eatieries available around the Hotel. The one bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and tidy upon arrival with clean sheets on the bed and fresh towels available for use. Bathroom was stocked with toileteries and the kitchen had ameneties available. It also offers

The property offers secure parking in the basement but the price is a bit on the higher side in my opinion.

Great studio rooms with kitchenette located in heart of Darby St. Paid parking which was convenient as directly under apartments and sme lift access. Good instructions around arrival. Linen great and bed comfortable. Excellent location on Darby St.

More an FYI - some noise (music) can be heard from a downstairs bar up until about 10pm only on Saturday night. We were in Studio 5A. Room 6 would be directly above the bar so quite a bit louder there.

Service and check in was excellent. Keys and clear instructions were given to us as we checked in after hours. Very comfy bed, spotlessly clean, secure parking underneath and excellent location-step out to restaurants and cafes.

While we appreciate the car park, don't like paying an extra $25 per day. It's OK for short stays but we think twice if we stay longer. There is a strange sunroom type arrangement adjoining the room with plantation shutters but the light came into our room all night from the courtyard through the bathroom window which shone into the bedroom. Not good. A tea/coffee maker was advertised but actually you just get a kettle with instant coffee (ugh) and green teabags (which I don't like). These days, most decent places have a nespresso machine and pods or similar. This would bring the accommodation up to date.
