Property is conveniently located in Swansea. It is probably suited best for a break in travelling rather than a destination for a long stay. The room had a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge. It is right on the waterfront and there a few tables and chairs you can sit on by the water to enjoy a coffee. Cutlery, cups, bowls and plates are provided as was tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets. The toiletries provided were the Herbology brand and if you have ever used them before you know how good they are. The bed was very comfortable too. I’d certainly stay here again.

It is right by the highway and I had a room facing the road and you can hear the traffic. There were no face washers provided and it would have been nice if the room also had a mirror. I only say that as I was attending a wedding and wanted to check how my dress looked but ordinarily that would not have concerned me too much.

This places oozes a Route 66 feel and the owner has completely embraced the art deco theme and has included special touches to make guests feel comfortable. The room was small but had everything you needed and more. It was like staying in an Air BnB, with a Nespresso pod machine, crockery/cutlery, microwave, nice toiletries and the comfiest bed we’ve slept in at a motel. The linen and towels were very clean and soft, and the pillows were like our own (which we had brought with us as we always hate motel pillows). The motel is literally across the road from Coles and close to food outlets. It is located right on the waterway which is really relaxing if you get a chance to chill out on the seats/hammock provided. The nightly rate is excellent value for money and we highly recommend this motel.

The shower head was in the wrong position, ie too low for someone around 6ft tall and in the corner of the wall.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Some of the best parts: *room is very clean *the room has been renovated while still keeping the beautiful retro style and nostalgia of a 70's motel. Where possible original features have been maintained, such as old school faucets. It was SO cute! Really loved the pink porcelain sink and baby blue bathroom tiles. Beautiful intricate rainbow tiles on the ground. *lots of really handy features, including plates and cutlery, toaster, microwave, pod coffee machine with heaps of capsules and biscuits (such a thoughtful touch!) *brilliant location- short walk to the beach and shops *the owners are really lovely. Bonus marks for their friendly cats! *comfy bed! I really like a good firm bed, and this 100% met what I needed. *very reasonable price I literally only booked this because I was on a family camping holiday and my back was too sore to sleep in a tent. It really blew me away how lovely it was and I was sorry I couldnt spend more time in the room.

This property location is perfect. Water front access with fishing off the warf with plenty of ducks. Its just across the road from the shops for all your shopping needs.i enjoyed sitting outside my room both mornings breathing in the sea breeze and listening to the duck's making conversation with one another . I was told by the owner that black Swans can be sighted early in the morning and late afternoon. Sadly that wasn't my experience. Come see for yourself. Absolutely beautiful .Come and be refreshed by this little piece of paradise, totally affordable. When you leave Black swan Swansea, you'll be smiling from ear to ear like i was. 😀😃😄😁 sadly I didn't take photos to show you what I was experiencing as I just relaxed before attending a wedding ceremony at another resort that didn't cater for disability issues.

The clean room , super comfortable bed and the homey touches were great. I loved the original colourful mosaic floor in the bathroom and stunning view of the boats on the river. Our welcoming hostess could not have been more helpful. She quickly and kindly solved a booking error on my part and extended checkout so my son could have a hot shower after a freezing surf comp. The extra touches were impressive such as fair trade hot choccy, tea and coffee sachets, coffe pod machine, heater and I loved the large bottles of botanical toiletries, rather than the usual tiny, plastic wrapped offerings. All this at a reasonable price too! Highly recommended.

Nothing not to like.

The had a great retro student vibe. We had a pink bathroom! W We had a coffee pod machine with plenty of pods for 1 night stay, a microwave and sufficient crockery and cutlery. It was clean and functional. There are lovely table and chair settings for sitting outside.

We had a river view room but didn't know that right in front of the view rooms is car parking. A very large work Ute with canopy parked in front of the room next to us, in their allocated spot, which was part way in front of us, it blocked most of our lovely view (we paid extra for). We asked if they could move more to their own side and they did. But we still had a half view.

We loved the absolute water front, friendly staff, super cosy homely comfortable feeling in the room with all little special touches. The shower products..... shampoo conditioner and bodywash are beautiful I want to try to source some for our home. Coffee machine was an added bonus and the biscuits they provided were delicious so different to what you normally get. We are looking forward to coming back and staying again and we have already recommended it to some family and friends

Tha air con was not very good it was on 16 degrees and we put the fan on too in the end to help, our sons room remained VERY warm and our room cooled down eventually but it could do with something better for the 2nd room

The room was everything I wanted and expected. My family stayed here for a Wedding at Caves Beach. My room was well appointed with great facilities and a great welcome from the staff. My room was very clean with a waterfront view. Plenty of plates, cups, clean and facilities. The pictures are true. I got to sit by a lovely riverside chair and enjoy the peace and quiet.This place is full of interesting things and many people were fishing from the private dock. It is a super well appointed place with vintage, interesting touches. Nothing was missing. The Manager even helped us, in a state of panic to get to our Wedding event,. Outstanding place and staff. It was so relaxing and I will come back. Well located too.

The room was small but it was awesome. So clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was old but so clean and the water pressure was great! It had a fan, an aircon and besides a kettle, tea, instant coffee, biscuits etc even had a coffee pod machine. There was a screen door that we could lock so we could get fresh air and some insect repellent if required. Truly one of the best little motels we have stayed in. I would recommend 10/10

That we only had 1 night to stay.

The location was superb, right on the lake with comfortable chairs to relax in near the water. We relaxed in the sunshine after we drove 2 hours from Sydney. The room was very compact but was comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Being a Sunday there was no reception, but our keys were set out for us and the cleaning ladies on site were very helpful. We only stayed overnight as we were travelling further, so didn't need to shop but there are cafes and groceries across the road if required.
