I love the location,we have stayed here many times, it’s always spotless with great showers, great beds and central to everything. Great cafe around the corner lovely choice of restaurants. Close to foreshore, great clothes shops too. The apartment we stayed in, is quite big, great setup dinning table, lounge room also big enough for two lounges but only has one two seater, fantastic, except the TV.

They need to upgrade their TVs the colour on ours was gone, absolutely terrible. They could also do with smart TVs. I haven’t stayed in the middle of winter I would have loved an electric blanket as I have a bad back and in really helps in winter. One day they might renovate the bathrooms they don’t need it yet but when they do, I would suggest to get rid of the shower in the bath setup. This is so dangerous to get in and out of when the floor is slippery. For any body older or younger.

Very friendly and accomodating staff; outstanding level of communication prior to check-in and after checkout. Onsite free parking was excellent. Room was clean and well maintained. As a Studio Lake front apartment it was above the ground floor commercial shops underneath and road-facing. You could hear some cars going past the room in the early evening, but we were tired so slept through the night soundly. Water pressure and temp in the shower was so good! Loved the two packets of biscuits left with the tea; a little, thoughtful gesture that was well-appreciated. Close to walk to nearby restaurants for dinner. Checked out as the sun was rising, and saw the beautiful view over the lake. Wished we could have stayed an extra hour to see it all, but it was a perfect stop for our event in Lake Macquarie the following day.

Nothing to report; all was good and would happily choose this place again if I needed to stay overnight for a Lake Macquarie trip.

Just loved everything about this stay. We stayed there to go to a concert at Speers Point Park which by car, was only about 10 minutes away. We stayed in room 15 which looked right over the Toronto Foreshore, a beautiful view. The Main Street for shopping is just a short walk around the corner. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. I really can’t fault our stay. The staff at reception were all friendly and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend the Brighton Apartments as somewhere to stay and I know the next time I’m travelling to the Newcastle area this is where I will be staying!

Apartment was very clean & well designed & appointed. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the block out blinds. Kitchen was well equipped & clean except it didn't have hand wash or scissors. The location of the apartment was convenient to the shops & cafes. Loved the walk in wardrobe & dressing room. Bathroom was very clean. I loved the size of the patio & being able to sit on the outdoor furniture & enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Macquarie. Car parking was good.

Lack of a hand towel rack & another power point in the main bathroom. Maybe a fan in the loungeroom.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Brighton Apartments and we love it. The location is ideal - you can walk to supermarket, shops, cafes and lake. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and it had a full kitchen, washing machine, dryer, excellent air con, a very comfy bed and everything was very clean.

Some finishes are getting a bit tired, like paint in the bathroom, but its so clean and comfortable, you can easily ignore this. The price is very fair for the quality of accommodation that you are getting

Lots of space in my apartment. One bedroom but plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable which is always so important. Plenty of pillows blankets etc. Couch comfy too. Location very good. Close to everything. Walking distance for coffee food groceries boutiques and the lake. Plenty of parking. Easy to get in and out.

Kitchen utensils very basic. Did the job but particularly cutlery was tired. No plastic containers at all for storage

The location and the facilities of this establishment were great! It had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and the amenities were great.

Check-in at reception was okay. There was limited information provided regarding keys, check-out time and how to use the FOB after hours. I had to figure that out myself. Would have been nice to receive that information when checking in particularly using the FOB key for after hours access.

The location was great. Right by the water and the high street. Some beautiful restaurants nearby (2 min walk) where you can sit outside and look over the water. The staff were great. I booked last minute and after reception hours so no one had seen my booking. When I arrived I had to call and they were so apologetic but also lovely. The bed was super comfy. Think it's the most comfy mattress I've ever had in a motel or hotel.

Friendly staff and easy check in process online. Fabulous location, it was within a short walking distance to cafes and restaurants on the water front. The room was on the first floor, with generous balcony, quiet and clean. First time visitors to the area would definitely recommend.

More kitchen facilities if staying for longer period of time. no onsite parking and Limited parking for tow vehicles/trailer etc nearby.
