The tidiness of the property was excellent. This motel is very well maintained and presented.

We couldn't work the air conditioner as the remote control is in Chinese. It would have been good to have some English instructions printed on a notice somewhere. Other than that everything was good.

Exceptionally clean. The shower was fantastic, really great water pressure. Good location with easy access to the M4 Parking right outside my room which made it easy for me to get luggage to the room and back to the car. I requested ground floor as I have a mobility issue and they were very accommodating.

There are tea and coffee making facilities but the tea cups are so tiny it's just not worth it. Bigger mugs would be much better. It appears that there have recently replaced all of the beds in the rooms which is great, however they have chosen very firm mattresses, a bit too firm for my liking.

I wanted a really cheap 2-nighter with no bs car-parking, for my 15yo son and I to stay while seeing Sydney. I've read a few bad reviews about this place, but decided to take the shot. I was quite thrilled with the place. Our room was meticulously clean, currently maintained, newly tiled bathroom, and tasteful wall art. All the asian staff (chinese I think) were really nice, happy, and very easy to approach. I can't understand other's comments about this place being for 'homeless people'. Last year my son and I travelled both American coasts and stayed in 5-star the whole trip. Our viewpoint is tempered, and this place was GREAT. It'sCLOSE to Sydney center and train station is 9 min walk. 7-11 store 100m away, train station 600m, Kmart 500m, takeaways everywhere as soon as you begin walking down the street. This is NOT a 3-star hovel run by a couple of gronks looking at saving every cent.Rather, it is a small family motel operation (I assume) maintained with hard-work and high values toward accommodating people. When I come back, this'll be the place I stay!

If I have to give a reason, it might be the aircraft that occasionally fly overhead. But that's only outside. Once inside, I can't say I ever noticed any noise. The room seemed peaceful and dead silent.

I've been staying regularly at Westside for at least 4 years. It seems there may have been a change of management more recently. This has bought a programme to update all the rooms to an equal standard with very good results. Previously some rooms were quite lacking in storage and bench work. This investment is a good sign Westside will hopefully be with us for a long time to come because for $ value, convenince of location and clean comfortable rooms I don't think you'll find quite a match elsewhere in Sydney. The secure on-site parking is a real bonus and all rooms are swipe card entry. Summer Hill station is a pleasant short walk.

The fact I wasn't able to stay more than one night - on this occasion at least.

The Shower was beautiful . Had a comfortable sleeps the whole 5 days there Liked that it was walking distance to the shops and eaterys and railway station The washing machine n dryer nice and big Enjoyed watching your own netflix The Staff were very helpful

When we first got there the room had a funny musky smell They had 2 tiny little cup n saucers There was no big plates or dessert bowls for cornflakes and no bowl for the microwave We got our own cups n plates n bowl for the microwave The single bed looked old n one of the leg went wobbly from jus sitting on it

Fantastic Stay at Westside Motor Inn! I recently stayed at Westside Motor Inn during the New Year period, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The location is perfect – just a short 30-minute drive from the heart of Sydney, making it incredibly convenient for all the city’s major attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which really added to the overall experience. What stood out the most was the value for money – especially during such a busy time of year. Finding affordable, quality accommodation in Sydney during New Year’s can be tricky, but Westside Motor Inn offered great pricing without compromising on comfort or convenience. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore Sydney without breaking the bank. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in town!

SIze of bathroom could have been bit more as it was slightly small

I like the property , safe parking and surrounded by basic amenities such as food restaurants, shops, easy access from the road, the setting of the room was good.

I observed that under the bed, it’s not cleaned, there is a dirt. when we requested for cleaning of the room because we stayed for another day also, so I was expecting sweeping of the room ( not just resetting the bed and resources) I noticed that due to no sweeping, the toilet and room floor was still with the hair strands. I would request cleaning of the room floor also.

Very clean and good aircon.

I was really close to the laundry area. People meet outside of laundry area to smoke and chat Smoke did get to my room. Also, parking was an issue. Hardly an parking available. My room was the furthest to the reception, but I had to park at the reception area immediately after the boom gates. I had aotorcycle. Other cars parked so close to my bike I hardly could mount it to ride away. Designated parking would help. Restrictions to 1 car per room to be allowed to park inside would also help.

Basic small room, double bed and single. Comfortable enough, nothing flash. But at the price and location didn't matter. We were there only to sleep really. A short walk to Summer Hill railway station and there are lots of good restaurants to eat. Up the road from the motel there are other places to eat, supermarkets, and a bottle shop. Bus stop directly outside. It was perfect to dump our stuff and do what we had to do during the day. Absolutely would stay there again.

Bit grimy. Check your kettle before use ours had gunk in it. Bit loud as well from TVs. Probably because the TVs were fixed to the wall by metal brackets helping the wall transmit the noise.

property was amazing for price, we had originally booked a different place in mascot, but there was no parking included so we cancelled there and booked here. we were going to roundhouse, so this place was only an extra 5 minutes and had included parking and turned out to be $5 cheaper than the other place in mascot.

room was a bit small so if i were staying for any other reason other than a place to sleep id probably book somewhere bigger, but it was nice just for somewhere to head quickly after a late event and night out for sleep.
