I chose this accommodation because it was located roughly midway between two places I needed to visit during my stay in Cairns. Very handy to the Earlville Westfield shopping centre. The room had a microwave oven which I used to heat food, plus a kettle and tea & coffee. A double and separate single bed were in the room. The former was very comfy for the three nights. Air conditioning worked really well and was very much appreciated in the hot and humid weather at the time. I made use of the iron and ironing board provided in the room. There no cover on the board frame, however a towel draped over the frame made the ironing board functional. Only teaspoons were provided in the room however I carry a travel cutlery set so had a knife and fork to use. There was a small swimming pool which was popular due to the hot weather. I didn’t make use of that though it was nice to have the option.

Loved that me and my family could stay. Specially on the lower level. Was close to shopping center and the best part was we could walk there. Also my nephew's loved having a dip in the pool couldn't get them out half the time 🤦‍♀️😂 But I would definitely go back again.

I didn't like our bathroom was clogged. Every shower we took our toes had a bath 😂 found it funny though but it took a little longer for it to drain leaving wet kinda of fluff behind which didn't look good.

Loved the location. Was concerned about noise from the road, but there was none and we stayed right up the front. Handy to shops and easy to get to in our travels. Enough of a kitchen to cook our breakfast without any problems. Very clean.

Couldn't get on the locked WiFi at all. The unlocked was extremely slow and definitely not reliable enough to pay staff while away. Very disappointing. The bar fridge really does need replacing. All iced up and somewhat useless. Thankfully we had our own. It's a shame to see that some previous patrons had vandalized the painting and coffee table. The cleaners obviously didn't pick up on it as I removed the seal from the black paint jar from the picture frame and cleared that paint away with nail polish remover. I was really tempted to clean up the coffee table, but is it really my job? My hearty goes out to the artist for the scrawl that is on their work.

The room was clean and tidy, with a full bathroom and ample space for luggage, etc. The rooms fronting Mulgrave Road are incredibly sound proof - you cannot hear the traffic at all. Also, anyway appreciative of quiet, early morning walks would find the nearby Chinaman Creek Park pathways very peaceful and tranquil.

The TV cable connection on the wall was not there. The ceiling fan has no power switch anywhere, and a couple of the lights were not functioning.

Close for everything can travel by bus to city 15mins 142 143 150 the bus stop just the front of hotel you can walk down go to esplanades pool very nice to walk around have night market and street food very cheeps, you can change the bus there to plam cove beach Trinity Beach etc. You can walk to the big shop on the right just 10 mins if you walk on the left have restaurants like RSL walk 10mins Thai coins restaurants and DFO.

I enjoyed the fact that the room was first at the top of the stairs. And that my family could visit as the car park area is very spacious. However I did order a deluxe room, and was expecting a balcony.

Was hard to find a spot to smoke as it was raining - wasn't comfortable with using the undercover parking area to smoke as I was mindful of those that don't smoke. - but that's just me. 2 lights weren't working Shower head needed replacing Air vent in bathroom didn't work. Floors weren't clean Water bottle in freezer from previous guests. Milk carton had not been replaced, was open in the fridge. Had to wash own dishes which was fine - however if this is a requirement that may effect the return of bond perhaps provide dishwashing liquid sachets for guests to use?

Maybe next time I hope i could stay are little long maybe when I’m on my holiday break from work and I’d love to stay in one of the queen room

Loved the pool here for the kids. Very child friendly and the kids all LOVED going down the slide, again and again and again… Rooms were great for what we needed, unfortunately unable to have rooms next door to each other, though all on the same floor and just down the hall with easy access to each other.

I liked the fact that the hotel was on the bus route for great transportation into Cairns City. I liked that I booked through booking.com for a cheaper rate. I liked that the staff where fantastic and doing there best to provide comfort.

I was happy with my stay.

The room was comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful.

Facilities run down. Swimming pool was dirty never cleaned mould on the tiles. Shower had a bit of mould. No exhaust fan.
