Nice and clean, perfect for what I needed. Love the pools

When I looked out my window to view the stunning view of pool I unfortunately saw a couple having sexual relations through the window as their sliding doors were open. As there were kids and family’s at this hotel, I would recommend letting couples and or singles know to shut their blinds while involved in sexual intercourse. Other then that the hotel was wonderful ☺️

The resort was beautiful, very well maintained, very nice staff, room serviced everyday, a full shopping complex within a 3 minute walk, amazing clean pools. Very clean gardens, well maintained rooms, easy access to rooms, elevator, good size modernised room, and bathroom. Great air-conditioning. Very good sized comfortable beds. Not a lot of traffic noise.great balcony over looking pool. Looks like the main picture! Good phone reception, shampoo and conditioner supplied, hairdryer, basic coffee/tea/milk supplied. Very tropical! Rooms smelt fresh. Had a table and 2 chairs. Chairs on the balcony.

Only a kettle and a small bar fridge in the room. No BBQ area, no microwave, very small TV, no place to cook food. Louvred doors instead of curtains, rooms don't blackout, security lights keep rooms lit up through the night, make a strobe light out of the ceiling fan. Noisy neighbours underneath our room. Facilities available there, but not to the traveller.

We got a room on the second level facing the swimming pool. The room has enough space not to feel cramped, to fold out a suitcase and a small sitting space, also kettle and tea/coffee was provided which was great. Free safe in the room to store valuables. Clean and spacious bathroom. Really enjoyed going for a swim every evening. It was quiet and we were not bothered by any noises. There is a Raintree shopping mall a few steps away to get groceries, snacks and a nice resto to grab some food, and a bus stop to get to the center (although buses run not very often, every 30 min each direction). Overall we had a nice stay without any issues.

WiFi was very slow, we have tried connecting and using it a couple times, but then reverted back to our mobile internet, as that one was faster. Have caught a couple of roach-like bugs in the bathroom. Check-out at 10am is way too early, at 10.05 there was already knock-on the door urging to us leave. Everywhere else where we stayed it was between 11am and noon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palm Royale Cairns. The staff were warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere from the start. The location is convenient—within walking distance to local shops and just a short drive to the city centre. The resort-style pool area was a lovely bonus, perfect for unwinding. A great choice for a comfortable and peaceful stay with easy access to everything you need. There was a great range of brochures and information available about local activities, which was helpful as we were dealing with bronchitis and looking for low-key options.

However, on our first morning, one staff member was not particularly friendly or helpful when we had a few questions. It would have made a difference to feel more supported, especially early in the stay. Thankfully, the rest of the staff were pleasant, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere overall.

The room was exceptionally spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, which I truly appreciated after a long day. I had requested a quiet room, and the hotel delivered perfectly—the room was extremely quiet, allowing me to relax without any disturbance. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool view from the room, which added a refreshing and calming touch to my stay. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable, which was great for both work and streaming. In terms of location, although the hotel is located away from the city but is very conveniently situated. There’s a shopping mall, a coffee shop, and a Red Rooster nearby, making it easy to grab essentials or enjoy a quick meal without needing to travel far. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful stay.

worth spending with a big room.

i couldnt help to notice the bed was actually a single bed combined together and i couldnt sleep in the middle of the bed. Secondly i did mention on checking out late yet the person working on that day is abit fussy and consider rude altho i admit it was abit too late to inform for a late check out. i was up all night til 4 am couldnt sleep yet i overslept and requested for a late check out by noon. should your property want to improve comfort for others as well as hospitality, i suggest take note on the chat earlier as i have mention and give you a hint about checking out late. yet i am willing to pay more just for another quick nap or avoid being dizzy.

The Palm Royale surprised us as its a large complex with about 125 rooms located about an hours plus walk from Cairns central. We requested a room on the quieter side away from the main road and were allocated a ground floor room. Despite being out of town, its an oasis and so tropical. The gardens and the 2 pool areas are stunning. The pools divide the complex in two. We had direct access from our room gate to the lap pool. We could walk across to the waterfall pools which are truly lovely. There's a cold water spa with rock falls and three separate swim areas. We found a guest area behind the pools that provides complimentary tea and coffee making plus a microwave and seating areas where guests could take their own meals The room itself is spacious with a king-size bed, bar fridge and coffee/tea making. Very neat and clean. Private too. We loved our stay and only regret we didn't have longer here. It's a great place to unwind, rest and a great base to go on day trips exploring. Probably best to have a car here. We stayed prior to going to the airport for our flight home. The reception duty manager, Daniel, was really helpful and stored our luggage when we arrived early as we needed to return our rental vehicle. There's Raintree shopping complex across the road for supplies, and the DFO centre is 1/2 hour walk away. Highly recommend a stay here

Reception staff ( Short hair Lady) was very rude. When we first entered she started like what you want- really is this the way to treat customers . After i said i have booked for 3 days stay she was acting like she is paying for my stay. She responded very rudely for my questions and went to smoke. Next day she did same to other customer i guess even he would have felt the same way. Please educate her or change her she is spoiling your reputation. Not fit for receptionist job. Other then that our stay was good.

I really like the pool. Reception has been absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I was also able to store my luggage in the storage room while I was waiting for my room to check in or on the day when I checked out honestly those guys are absolutely wonderful.

I was given a room next to the road and the road noise was unbearable. It was very strange that there was no breakfast but there was no option to pay for breakfast. Also there was no option for the breakfast to be delivered to the room. Very strange.

The most thing i love staying at The Palm Royale as it very easy asses to Shops,Buses and my family live around the corner and they are welcomed to come and visit me while im staying there every year and they can come and use the pool as well. and i preesonly love staying there as the hoptality is great and i get to stay in comfort, peace,and quite as its my time out every year. so looking forward to my next stay in 2025

there is nothing i dont like as im happy with the whole set up and the rooms i stay in arelovely and the pool is a beautiful place to relax its a great place to stay.
