I was in Cairns for a family medical emergency and spent very little time in the apartment. It was in excellent shape and almost everything worked fine. Anna the property manager was great. Very helpful and apologetic re my step climbing and I think was genuinely concerned. She was a lovely person and enquired a number of times re the progress of my seriously ill son in hospital which was the reason I was in Cairns. Thanks Anna.

Front access door at street kept getting stuck and was hard to open. I walk with a cane so climbing 2 flights of stairs to gain access to apartment was very difficult. Hot water in shower was only "Just Hot" and needed no cold water to be at anywhere near a normal shower temperature. Seems like an adjustment is needed there. No means of keeping water in refrigerator, so put 3 glasses from cupboard in filled with water. Supply of a $5 plastic jug would help.

The help and support from Anna and Bianca was exceptional. They went out their way yo help us from arrival to checkout. The apartment and facilities was fantastic too.

Main road noisy at night times and airconditioning performance was a bit erratic with many nights spent were cold when the aircon was on. There were loose Allen bolts used to fix the sofa legs (both sofas) in the living area. Staff left an Allen key to allow us to tighten bolts which we happy to do. The legs need a minimum of two bolts per leg to ensure strength and safety.

Rooms were clean, big and ready. Location was stone throwaway from shopping mall. All positive review I read earlier were correct. Walking distance to everything. Rusty market was only opened on fri sat and sun so we missed it since we came back early fri but otherwise this place is Fantastic. Anna was really good with communicating and organising everything. Thank you. We will be back.

Nothing. Everything was good. Very comfortable, location was great. I'm very picky when it comes to hotels but this one was great.

We have stayed at Cairns City Apartments twice over 2 years. Anna the host is lovely and bends over backwards to ensure you are looked after. It's not 5 stars but the apartments are clean, comfortable and reasonably well appointed. The location is brilliant if you do not have transport and intend on walking everywhere. it's a nice easy stroll down to the harbor, Cairns central is directly across the road so there is access to a Coles and Woolies as well as a BWS. It is worth noting there are a number of apartment blocks that make up Cairns City Apartments. We have stayed in 2 and found they can vary slightly.

Very clean, spacious accommodation with excellent kitchen facilities, comfortable beds and large balcony. Great location and we were all able to walk to many attractions including CBD area and Aquarium. Also very close to a large shopping centre and Cairns rail. Able to access Cairns rail for a day trip to Kuranda utilising the Kuranda train and Skyrail. Stayed after a few nights in Port Douglas and didn’t need to use our hire car until we returned to the airport. Highly recommend Cairns City Apartments. Great place to relax, thank you.

Apartments were clean and spacious with excellent facilities. Great Aircon throughout and loved having laundry facilities. Love pool area although quite small loved the jacuzzi feature. Staff were great and looked after us. Close to Central Cairns shopping centre. Bit of a walk to the outdoor pool and beach front especially in Cairns humidity but close to everything else. Overall great location and fantastic apartment.

Can't say they there was anything we disliked

The apartment is in a great location. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and confortable. A shopping center right in front of the apartment, very close and walking distance to many restaurants, the Casino, Pubs, and the Marina area where the views are amazing and a good place to relax. The Host, Anna was wonderful and very kind and accommodated all our stay requirements. Will definitely visit again.

The apartment we stayed in needs all kitchen appliances upgraded.

Location was amazing main shopping centre across road decent coffee shop across other corner union jack hotel 2min walk under 10min to Esplanade parked Kia carnival in car park with no issues pool and spa out side well shaded beds were great apartment is massive

Beautiful comfortable large unit. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds. Shopping centre right across the road. Anna was amazing, helped us out greatly when we arrived a day early and accommodated us adding an extra night at short notice and so helful in changing car spaces around to fit our large vehicle with bike rack in. Being a smoker, being allowed to smoke on the balcony was a big plus for me. Most places don't allow it anymore.

Perfect location and walking distance to the plaza shopping centre. Apartment was great, very spacious and lovely views from balcony. Outside balcony was beautiful, great dining setting and very relaxing on armchairs.

Needed more towels at least 2 per guest. Main bathroom needs a bigger ceiling ventilation fan as too hot and had to leave door open once finished from shower.
