My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Pullman Hotel Reef Casino. One of the things we loved most about the property was its location—it’s perfectly situated just on the edge of the city. Close enough to enjoy the convenience of nearby restaurants and attractions, yet far enough to escape the noise and crowds. After long, tiring days spent on tours, it was the ideal place to unwind and relax. The amenities were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and the jet spa—each added a luxurious and relaxing touch to our stay. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating, exactly what we were looking for. We’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a blend of city access and a tranquil retreat.

Location, staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially converge and Merchant Cafe breakfast staff. Room was clean, spacious and pillow menu was wonderful

The pool had a few issues, main pool was extremely cold and spa could be warmer and only half the jets working. The noise from the pool pump was really loud and situated right next to deck chairs. Can only access pool by walking through the carpeted gym? The a la carte breakfast was flexible, but would have liked a few more dairy-free & bread choices.

Had a really great stay here. Location is ideal, right across from the marina, 3 min walk to the esplanade. This hotel has everything you need and more. The balcony, super big and spacious overlooking the pool and partial view of the marina. The bathroom is wonderful, has 2 sinks, a standing shower and a bathtub if you feel like a soak. The property has restaurants and a casino in case you feel like going nowhere (which is unlikely but in the event…). Every amenity provided including safe, shampoo conditioner soap bathrobe and even slippers. The bed is super comfortable and you can even request pillows to your preference. The staff is super nice and helpful. Honestly couldn’t ask for more!

Nothing at all. It was perfect!

We loved the hotel and our bed was very comfortable, we liked sitting on our balcony looking out at the yachts on the water and the arrival of a large ship docked. Room service was fabulous as we were able to order what we required. The pool and spa were amazing. The hotel is with in walking distance to the esplanade where there are a selection of restaurants.

As we stayed 7 nights there were a few things such as soaps and shampoos that were not topped up, also hard to get out of the dispensers.

Well located hotel offering a good hotel experience. Good sized room with a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with both shower and spa bath. The roof top pool area could do with a makeover but was nonetheless a good space. We liked that they provided drinking water in the room every day and on arrival provided a free drink voucher and some free gaming tokens

We were disappointed with the A La carte breakfast, minimal drink options (no freshly squeezed juice when using the dining area) and was lacking variety with very little kids options. Last stay in Cairns was the Pullman International across the road and the buffet breakfast there was much much better.

The room size and location was fantastic, we have views of the ocean inlet and the ocean cruise ships. In our one night stay two ship birthed and we hear them just woke up and saw a new ship. It didn’t interrupt our view it enhanced it. We had a huge balcony which was lovely. But the king bed was really comfortable, slept well and didn’t wake up feeling stiff.

If you stay in FNQ this time of year the sun does get up early, and there are know black out curtains but louvers. Which is typical in the tropics. So the room lights ups as the sun peaks through. We just went to bed a hour early and not a problem.

It was our Wedding Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with personalised cards, fruit platter and gifts. It was the customer service that was sensational. It made us forget we were in Australia. It was genuine and made every difference and set positive vibes from the minute we stepped in, to dining at merchant Cafe, to even checking out. So grateful we chose the Pullman. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the incredible experience and customer service. My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. We will be back and highly recommend!
