Warren, the hotel manager, was the perfect host. He made our stay! He really knew what good service is about.

Very big room with good view and lovely small balcony. The location is in the opposite of police station and the court, makes you feel very safe, lol. The owner is very friendly too, provide early check in when possible and also suggest great local market nearby.

It says ‘self-catering’ hotel, so I guess no one clean the room? I only had 1 time cleaning by sending a message to request cleaning, and they only changed the towel and garbage, did not clean the floor (clearly hairs were visible). I would suggest if you do the cleaning, do it properly.

The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything anyone would need - a bedroom with a TV, lamps, and a wardrobe, a bathroom with a shower in the bath, washing machine and dryer, clothes dryer, a kitchenette, a dining table and a sitting room with a large sofa and TV and a small balcony. Cleaning materials are provided, as well as a hairdryer. There is a small pool with towels available at reception. Warren, who looks after check-in/out, is full of energy and chat and is very helpful. The location is not a very touristy area (located opposite a court house and police station) but is safe and is only minutes walk away from the Esplanade.

The door lock was very fiddly.

It was easy to enter and exit. Was very safe and secure. Was nice and quiet. Very good shower pressure.

Bathroom needs a bit of attention. Shower over bath with shower curtain is very dated. But in saying that it would be ok if it at least had hand rail as bath can be slippery and the older people get that added security of a rail would be excellent. Also a ceiling fan for bedroom would be excellent.

Friendly reception guy (filling in for a couple of weeks). Had everything we needed. Easy walk to everything. Large fridge. Aircon. Secure entry. Swimming pool. Washing machine. It was perfect for our 4 night stay and after 3 nights in the Daintree, was good to do some laundry. The shower had awesome pressure. If you need extra laundry detergent, pool towels etc, you can just ask for it.

Place is a bit dated but I hear that’s common in cairns. The place was spacious and had all we needed and more, so it’s not a bother really. You’re out most of the time and there’s a pool to hang out in between. The lift had some glitches too.

Spacious, clean, affordable and well located to walk most places.

It is dated like most apartments in Cairns, but the appliances are new and sheets/towels spotless. The bathroom extractor doesn’t really work and needs a good clean. The bed is huge - a bit on the hard side, but no big problem. No screens so you’d have to use aircon in summer. Would have liked a cafe table and chairs on the balcony rather than bench seats like being in the naughty corner.

Great location for attending conference at the Convention Centre. Easy walking distance to Cairns waterfront bars and restaurants. Spacious

Apartment was a bit tired, but that is reflected in the price.

Central CBD location. Walk to restaurants, pubs, large shopping centre, cinemas, waterfront, Cairns Lagoon which is a large free public swimming pool. Secure under complex parking. A lift, great when moving luggage. Little cafe in reception area. Very good security. Markets approx 200 metres away. Rooftop swimming pool. Great apartment in Central location across the road from Cairns main police station.

Shower above bath has no support bars to assist when stepping in and out of bath to shower, especially when everything is wet. I had to crawl in and out of the bath to avoid having a fall. Unsafe.

The guy at the reception was very friendly and answered all my questions. The pool water was clean and very pleasant. It's very easy to get to anywhere in the city, so even people who don't own a car will be satisfied with the location.

I was told that the room would be cleaned once every two days and that it would be vacuumed, but it was not vacuumed. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so the bathroom was very humid while putting washed clothes in the dryer.

The staff were fantastic and let us check in early. The location in the city was good to everything. 15 minute walk to the esplanade. The apartment had been refurbished and was very nice and clean. Very comfortable bed.

The outside of the facility was in dire need of a paint and waterblast. The pool area was uninviting and had no feel to it. We never used the pool. There was also no loungers or bbq
