We self catered for breakfast. Location to restaurants and a brewery for dinner was excellent. We went to Fitzroy Island for a day at the ferry terminal was right there. Parking was good on site and very accessible to room. Rooms were very well maintained with linen. Close proximity to pubs and walks along the Esplanade

We had a studio room and were required to use the bathroom for water and wash up. We would expect a small kitchen sink. The fridge microwave utensils crockery and glass ware were all very good otherwise.

Very easy to check in at the local visitor centre. Staff were super helpful. Very secure accommodation, plenty of room and very clean. Towels provided for the rooftop pool too. Love the bedroom had sliding doors to separate from living and kitchen area. Small gym and rooftop pool on site to use. Views from the pool at sunset were fab. All appliances easy to use and after 2 weeks touring it was great to have a washing machine. Lovely balcony with a small view of the water. Jo in the visitor centre was very kind and helpful with car hire suggestions and booking taxis for us Location of property is above some fantastic restaurants - all I would say though is pop in and book them. Dundees especially. Short walk to marina for boat trips, only a 20 min walk to aquarium and train station for Kuranda railway.

The location was great. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Great to have the washing machine to use. Very easy access to lots of restaurants and to the excursion area. Check in staff really helpful at the visitor centre. We’d very happily stay there again if we visit Cairns another time.

We’d love to have sat on the balcony and had our breakfast out there. Unfortunately the balcony is right above where the delivery trucks stop in the morning. They had their refrigeration units working which made it very noisy. It would also have been much nicer if there were some better chairs. Very hard on your bottom and had seen better days. I got my thigh skin caught on one of the black chairs.

Situated right on Macrossan, the main drag strip, 1 min walk to coffee, 2 min walk to the beach. Everything close at hand, restaurants, cafes, etc. Beautiful pool at rear of apartments, plenty of seating/lounges for everyone. Lots of seating options in room, table/chairs, lounge, table/chairs on our rear porch/deck, and also table/chairs in the common area. BBQ facilities, water cooler and ice machine 24 hrs, book library. Super friendly and knowledgeable guys who own/run the apartment. Everything was fabulous, even the grumpy fish in the pond who said hello each time we walked past. lol.

The location of the apartment was unreal. The apartment was massive and fully equipped with everything we needed. Very comfy bed.

The check-in wasn't inside the actual hotel but located in the tourist information centre on the corner of the street. So when we followed directions and it said we were at the location, it was a little bit confusing. The aircon in the bedroom didn't work, and because the reception isn't manned after 5 pm, there was no one to report it to because we went on daytrip and didn't get back till after 5 pm. We managed by turning the fan up to maximum, but it was quite loud. Not disastrous but a little bit annoying.

The apartment had everything I needed. It was clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable. Smooth and friendly check-in service. The location is really convenient as it is really close to the reef terminal and restaurants. I had a delicious pizza at Hemmingways and a really lovely meal at Dundee's. I would definitely recommend these apartments.

On Saturday night, there were people in the neighbouring parkland drinking and shouting all night. It was only one night, every other night it was quiet.

We really liked the apartment and the view over the marina with a constantly changing view of boats coming and going. The furnishings of the room were very comfortable. The location was excellent with many restaurants in walking distance. And a walk around the Esplanade brings you into the centre of Cairns. The staff at the Information Centre (check in) were very helpful in booking a sunset river cruise, booking taxis etc. We would certainly stay again. There is a convenience store next to the Information Centre (34 The Esplanade) which is handy, Woolworths a short walk away and coffee is available over the road at the Casino from 6.00am.

Very spacious apartment, comfortable bed and pillow. Conveniently located. Supermarkets, night market, variety of restaurants and Reef Cruise terminal are all within a few minutes’ walk. The apartment is spotless clean. It was the only place that I had stayed which kettle is as clean as a new one. Full kitchen facilities, washing machine & hanging rack are available within the apartment. Staff are very helpful and nice.

There are a lot of charging sockets inside the apartment but not one is conveniently installed. As I did not bring along a sufficient long cord, I could only stand by the kitchen if I needed to check my cellphone at the same time needed to charge my cellphone. However, in general it was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect. We checked in after office hours and the paperwork and keys were left in a dropbox for us. Clear instructions were given. When we arrived, there was a welcome pack of essentials to make things easy. The apartment is superbly situated next to the wharves and a couple of minutes from the centre. It is really well equipped, lots of space, clean and comfortable. The staff at the agency were brilliant. Friendly and relaxed, gave great advice, an absolute pleasure to deal with. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

The location was very convenient with restaurants downstairs on the waterfront and walking distance to Woolworths, McDonalds and a large number of other restaurants. Having the Kitchenette, Washer and Dryer in our apartment was greatly appreciated. The view was better than expected with combination of garden, mountain and water views. We didn't hire a car, we walked and went on several half/full day tours. Reef Cruises left from the Marina just out the front of Cairns Private Apartments. Jo and Darcie at Reef Visitor Information Centre were very friendly and helpful.
