The apartment was a good size. The location was good as well. Not too far from town and a few restaurants within walking distance. Laundry facilities within the bathroom. Fan and AC in all rooms.

Shower/bathtub is a bit dated. There's no where to hang your towel close to the shower. The floor was not visibly dirty but didn't feel 100% clean. My feet ended up being very dirty somehow despite wearing shoes outside and only being barefoot inside the apartment. Wifi wasn't great. If you are travelling from overseas and dependent on wifi, just be aware. Pool was a lot smaller than made to look in pictures.

Everything. From Kitchen facilities, to cleanliness, to the Pool ambience, to the hospitality of John & Noutekh - everything was superb. Clear check-in instructions made our late check-in very easy. Pool is not big, but well maintained and gives a cozy feeling.

Nothing much to report. There were a couple of minor things, but John's communication was smooth (even after hours) and he fixed it in no time. Location is a bit away from the city, but we knew it when we booked the place, so no complaints there.

I am traveling with my family. We are first time in Australia. This property was the best so fare. Property is located in walking distance from port and city center. Bus station is very close to it. Some shops too. It is quite big property for 4 people. It has good beds for sleeping, big bathroom and nice dining room. There is pool in the yard. There are parking places. Staff was friendly.

Locks of the bathroom can cause problems.

We needed a nearby stop for a night after a 4am landing from Japan and had chosen Koala Court for its proximity to the airport in Cairns. John was particular good in communicating with us and very helpfully prepared our welcome information and keys in a safe for our inevitable middle of the night arrival. We arrived and checked in easily and slept well. In addition we were allowed to make use of laundry facilities for free which was brilliant and then to top it all off John dropped us up the road to our van hire place. The grounds we didn’t have much time to explore but the little pool and eating area were well set out and really clean and tidy. When you are treated as well as John treated us it makes you want to go back and spend a little longer!

From the moment we walked in, we were so warmly welcomed by Butek (sorry not sure of spelling). We had a flat tyre that John helped us change. Throughout our stay we had many pleasant interactions and were given great recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious and had great airflow which helped keep it cool. Couldn't rate this place highly enough, everyone should stay here when in Cairns.

Mattress was old and quite bowed.

John the owner was so helpful, he gave us a lift into town as we had a trip booked when our taxi did not turn up. You can book trips and get advice on eating out from John and his wife. The apartment has everything you need and it's only 15 mins walk into the town. There is a small complex around the corner of the apartments which has a supermarket and other fast food restaurants.

The pool looked inviting, though we had a quick stay so not enough time to really enjoy the amenities. We were grateful for the washer dryer. Also the hosts made it easy to access our rooms since we were late arrivals

Going up the stairs with full suitcases was a challenge. I'm don't know how that could be avoided.The light outside the bathroom window was too bright and we had to close the bathroom door to block out the light.

John and Noutekh managers at KC were very thoughtful and kind hosts. No ask was unimportant to them. They were attentive to our needs and addressed them patiently. Whether we asked for extra towels, milk, storage options for our baggage post checkout, even a charger as I lost mine in transit! Thank you John and Noutekh for your warmth and for making our stay enjoyable.

Met and exceeded every expectation. Quiet, spacious, safe. Great room size, fully furnished and as a bonus had laundry in room and a pool. Wonderful staff. Two thumbs up. If you are coming for a high end hotel experience, this isnt it. What it is, a great 1 bedroom apartment to relax and enjoy Cairns. Great value, great room, great people.

Loads of space and little touches like coffee, loo roll and oil etc provided. Staff super helpful and air con throughout. Great position to explore from, particularly as we had a hire car. Carpark is secure and safe too. There is a pool which was a bonus 👍😁
