From the time we arrived we were made feel at home by everyone. On arrival the lady on the front desk was very helpful. We got to know her well ,but I can not remember her name, she needs a special mention . Thanks for all your hard work.

The in room safe was a bit hit and miss . The week we stayed with you, you suffered problems with the residents washing machine, but we got there in the end with the help of head of house keeping. She sorted things out so we were able to get our washing sorted before we left.

After having a holiday from hell, this place was the saviour of our trip. The staff went above and beyond, allowing us to check in several hours early after hearing what we had been through at ACACIA COURTS ON THE ESPLANADE (DO NOT STAY THERE). Reception were absolutely wonderful. Great communication, terrific people skills, they made us feel very warm and welcome. Even giving us salt and pepper from their restaurant so we didn't have to go and buy it. The rooms were clean, with everything you need to cook a quick meal in the rooms which was very handy. Location was perfect, close to the centre of town and convenience stores such as the IGA, and the night owl. With the bonus of a sushi train, fish and chips, and night owl within 500 metres up the road. Value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

The motel was attractive and reasonably close to the centre of Cairns.

There was no elevator. You're asked to have the air conditioner off when you're out, so the room is hot when you return, even with the curtains drawn. There's a message about a $1,351 fine, from memory, if the smoke alarm goes off accidentally for about three possible reasons, like steam from the shower getting in the smoke detector if you don't close the bathroom door. Apparently this is a government fine.

Moving interstate is an onerous task, so I decided to spoil myself with 2 nights at Queen's court when I arrived, so I wouldn't be too rushed in unpacking (predicting delays, etc). The friendly, flexible staff were so helpful and full of advice and information-- made me feel extremely welcome in my new home city! Location ended up being perfect, Room was quiet and relaxing, everything was great. Now, when my friends come to visit, I'll be telling them to book in at Queen's Court as well.

We had to book a twin room as there was nothing else available, but the beds were very comfy, the room very clean, the staff provided us with 2 very comfortable pillows each on request. Airconditioning was very quiet and worked well. Nice dark room with good curtains for sleeping

I was certain I paid for a twin room with attached bathroom, but our room was shared bathroom facilities when we arrived out of check in hours. It was no issue as the bathroom was right next to our room and was exceptionally clean.

Good check in procedure for late arrival, complex and apartment were clean and tidy with all modern facilities. Breakfast was a nice touch as well and ample free parking.

No lift so had to carry 2 suitcases and 2 large rucksacks to the 3rd floor (severely out of breath after 4 trips) so may be worth noting. Really strong smell on top floor which lingered all night. Had to hold our breath to get to our room but by the time we had traveled the corridor it was in our cloths and carried into our room. Smelled like someone had been cooking (fish) Kippers all evening but assume this to be a one off so won’t mark down.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is at a great location within walking distance to many great places. Room was old, but clean and comfortable. The aircon worked very well, there was a kettle, coffee/tea, milk in the minibar. There were also shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom. The breakfast is paid + extra, but very affordable and the breakfast ladies were delightful. There's a pool and outdoor lounge area, which I didn't have time to use, but looked clean and comfortable. Great value for money, would stay here again.

The place is clearly old and could use extra maintenance, but it wasn't anything serious!

The staff were really helpful and pleasant to chat with.. We wanted to add an extra night to our first stay and it was no problem. We asked for some extra coffee and tea and they just brought it to the room, lovely staff!! The lady in the kitchen was quite stern if you didn't clear the rubbish from your plate before handing it back but they were all lovely. We stayed twice in two weeks and both rooms in A and B block were super for us, we're backpackers at heart but looking for slightly nicer accommodation and this place was perfect.

I liked all of it, I can understand from some of the reviews how people get confused about the different lobbies but it is all one hotel and the rooms are all pleasant, clean and nicely presented, nothing was a problem for us.

The property was well appointed, clean, and cared for. We had everything we needed and more. We were especially impressed by the front staff, Becky in particular. She went out of her way to ensure that our stay, and that of our daughter who joined us later, were well cared for. We are so appreciative of her!

All good. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the marina and central shopping, which was very nice for us, but a bit of a surprise.

Staff were without exception friendly & helpful in every respect, which for me is a very major plus. Breakfasts were very good, with a reasonable selection offered. Reception always great service. Very nice pool and surrounding gardens, spent a lot of time here. I really enjoyed my stay at the QC and would be very happy to stay there again the next time I go to Cairns. It is a very good quality budget accommodation, highly recommended.
