The unit was very clean,& comfortable for 3 nights we were there. They were great about giving us info on taxi b4 arrival.They kept our luggage after check out, so we could enjoy the morning out, before we left for the airport.

The sliding door lock was very hard to get locked, therefore we couldn't didn't open it , like we would have liked to. Also, they didn't send an email early enough for us to get, for the code to get our keys. Luckily , another guest opened the box for us to get our key, as the registration was closed when we got there. Didn't find the desk people very friendly, and only there from 9-5. we got there after hours, and never saw anyone at desk, until it was time to leave... we had excursions that left early in the am & came back after the desk hours.

We loved and appreciated being provided a ground floor studio with a private courtyard. Sam and Irene were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Loved the close proximity to the esplanade, shops, restaurants, and transport. The room was private and quiet. The bed linen was of great quality and the beds comfy. Management has covered all required needs ie air con, fully equipped quality kitchen, a couch and TV, great hot water shower (small thing for some but a luxury for others) etc. Coin operated quality washing machines and dryers were conveniently located on 2nd floor. Highlight was being met on arrival by CEO/Managing Director, Bruiser, the rag doll cat and despite having an early morning departure from Cascade Gardens (outside reception hours), Bruiser made himself available to bid us farewell. I highly recommend staying at Cascade Gardens.

Perhaps a courtyard garden freshen up.

shower pressure good, pillows comfy, was very quiet, the tellie was easy to find channel 9 the ceiling fan didnt creek and the aircon wasnt loud, no sign of bugs, forgot to use the pool it was quite rainy during my stop over, the man and ladie at reception were awfully nice and kind heart would i book again? i would but i dont really like Cairns or queensland much, NT is home

i booked this because i saw a review that said there was a dog and cat roaming around and was very excited, did not see doggy and i saw the most fluffyist cat on booking out and only it was interested in a very breif pat, i wanted to show it love it was so cute, that made me sad

Nice place in a good location. Clean enough and very functional. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Note: the pool has closing hours (9pm cut off) which wasn't mentioned on the website. It closes for fair reasons (rooms back on to it) but just didn't know till we got there. Some basics not supplied. I understand this is self catering and everywhere supplies different things - but a dish sponge, washing up liquid, and cooking oil would have been useful. Maybe even salt and pepper and some washing machine liquid. Some minor maintenance needed (eg. TV remote wouldn't work, had to switch off at the wall to stop it playing constantly). No extraction fan in the bathroom /near the laundry so got hot and wet in the apartment very quickly when using these things.

Position was great. It was within walking distance to the CBD and the Esplanade, and not far from the airport. It was fully self-contained and roomy with separate bedroom and living room. There was no trouble getting the after hours key and the staff member was helpful during the hours the desk was manned. It was reasonably clean and the TV and fans were on when we arrived, a nice touch.

Not a great deal. However the area between the modular lounge had not been vacuumed for some time. (dropped something between the chairs and discovered this). There was a bit of early morning traffic noise, but only to be expected. Also a shouting match outside at 2 am in the morning on one occasion. (Not the fault of the premises)

Comfortable apartment, furnished well. A standard lamp in the lounge area would be helpful as without it, it is difficult to read anything. The Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and utensils. Location ok plenty of interest in walking distance or inexpensive uber..

The bedroom and lounge ceiling fans only worked on high - not suitable for dry season. New microwave could only be used on start -30 seconds at a time. Also it slid across the bench when opening door. Dryer did not work at all.

Very central, clean and quiet, good size apartments ,secure, if driving there’s private gated parking, the facility has a laundry that was good for us in keeping the amount of luggage taken on aircraft down, and lastly but definitely not least the price was very reasonable,

It was a surprise but there was no shampoo or conditioner in the apartment, for the ladies that probably wouldn’t use it but on this trip we only took carry on bags I was depending on having it supplied, it may seem like a frivolous thing but when it wasn’t there it did make a difference and I can see it would cause inconvenience if you got in late and were only staying one or two nights, but that’s it thats really all i could complain about,,

The property was convenient to the Esplanades. The grocery store, Woolworths, was only two blocks away. It was on a fairly quiet street. Our room had a large patio with table and chairs, next to the pool. The pool was small but good for soaking after a busy day.The laundry room was excellent and very clean. And reasonable.

The room could have had a roll of paper towels, face cloths and more than one dish rag and one dish towel for our 5 night visit. There was no reception on weekends. Also, the starter kit could have contained salt and pepper.

The perfect place to stay! The room was perfect- plenty of space, balcony- we didnt use it, still nice! Air conditioning- working and was useful! I loved kitchen area- all what you need, even toaster grill! We loves the pool- wonderful garden, there is even BBQ available- till 9pm! Man in reception- really helpful and quite 🐕 dog! free parking in the back side pf hotel! We stayed for 4nights- perfect location 🔥

We could sort out the laundry room- we put some coins in- but washing didnt work! Maybe would need some more instructions how to do it!

Very clean and spacious rooms. I had a ground floor unit with a great outdoor patio + bistro table. Very private. Perfect for an end of day glass of wine in your jammies :). The kitchenette came well equipped too, also very spacious. Pool is on the smaller side but not very populated, so that worked well. Pool towel was supplied to me. I really liked this room. There is an incredibly affectionate cat on the premises. Loved him/her. A cute little, white dog helped check me in also... though he didnt seem to like me too well at first when the front desk person stepped away LOL. A respected guard dog :)

The lack of shower walls or lack of shower door. My bathroom turned into a waterpark every time I took a shower, so much water would get outside the shower from the point of entry. I wasted many towels with clean up :(.
