Good value. Lovely grounds, room was simple but clean and confortable. Walking distance to everything Caines has to offer. Reception employees helpful with information.

I have stayed here before because the motel is in a great location, the rooms are very clean, and it is exceptional value for money. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Although a full breakfast was available in the dining room I especially liked the option of a boxed breakfast for $9. This is now my go to place when in Cairns.

Noise from hallway travels easily into rooms. A strip of wood or metal is needed between gap in front door and floor to reduce the noise.

Great location convenient for shops, restaurants, car hire and the bus and train stations. Really helpful friendly staff and we were able to leave two of our bags while we went to Kuranda for a few days before returning for our second visit.

It would have been nice to have a bar where guests could mingle but there was nothing we really disliked.

The staff were great and very helpful. The room was very clean. Plenty of places nearby to eat at.

There was no lift. We were on the second floor, so I had to carry suitcases up the stairs. There is also a third floor.

We were in Cairns for just a few days, meeting up with friends. The location and the accommodation suited our needs

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

My room was spacious, on the ground floor and fronting onto a courtyard. I was given a King Size bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I ate breakfast every morning in the "breakfast room" where I found the staff cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. The choice of breakfast items was more than satisfactory. One woman who did the afternoon shift on the reception was very helpful and always cheerful. The hotel was only 3 1/2 blocks from the waterfront.

My only complaint was that there was no decent coffee on the premises. There was urn coffee in the breakfast room - but I don't drink coffee at breakfast. Instant coffee available in my room. It was an excuse to take a walk and find a decent cup of coffee!

The Coral Tree Inn is excellently located and is approximately a ten minute walk to get to the restaurants and bars etc. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are spotless. Breakfast is satisfactory for $20 and is a buffet style, starting at 6.30am so is useful if you have an early start. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. The room had a little couch to sit on which was a great extra. There was everything available to have a coffee in the morning. The location of the hotel was very central.

The hotel has no lift available to go to the upper floors. This was stated in the description of the hotel and known to me but it would be a great improvement to the hotel as a lift is very helpful when moving luggage up. I had some heavy suitcases and the staircase was quite narrow. Not the hotels fault was the "view" of the balcony but still should be mentioned. I would never have sat down on there as this would have been like sitting in a cage looking through the trellis onto a not very inviting, messy neighbourhood house and shed.

The staff are amazing, friendly, and accommodating. The pool is great and the use of the swimming towels is awesome! The rooms are spacious. The entire place is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast had lots of options and was tasty. It's a short walk to the promenade and the boat terminal.

There is no lift. We had been advised, and it wasn't an issue for us, just an FYI. They did email in advance to check if you require a ground floor room.

Comfy large bed, having a ceiling fan and an aircon you can control was great. The TV was large and the room spotless.

No fan in the bathroom or screen on the bathroom window.
