I was so happy here. My sports team was staying directly across the road, and had no facilities (cooking, washing, or space) I could cook for all of us, I could do all of our washing and drying in my room and the team of 18 came over each night for team talk and there was plenty of room. I explained the situation to the staff and they were happy to accommodate and even offered the use of the BBQ facilities around the pool area or the balcony area on the next floor down.

I was there was there for 8 days and the only way my rubbish bin was emptied was when I did it myself

Fantastic location with a bus stop right out the front! One block away from the esplanade and a close walk to Muddys Cafe and playground. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were very understanding when we needed to change our dates at the last minute for medical reasons which we were very grateful for!

We chose this accommodation as the pool has a great shallow area for young children. The base of this section of the pool was however too hard for the little one to sit/crawl on as it was like a gravel. Other than that, everything was fantastic 🙂

201 Lake Street is in a good location, a short walk along the esplanade into the Cairns CBD. The two bedroom apartment was very good, we'll equipped and comfortable. The pool was actually cool & refreshing as it gets shade, unlike some other accommodation pools which were in full sun and were like a warm bath. Have been staying here for nearly twenty years, the caretakers are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

The carpark access driveway is steep but manageable.

It was easy to get to 201 Lake, and had good parking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The lift to our floor worked well, and our room was spacious. We had a very comfortable bed, there was a table and 2 chairs on the balcony, so we sat out there to have coffee. The shower was walk in, with hand held rose, excellent water pressure and no temperature fluctuations. Plenty of hot water as well. Nice to have a small fridge, and jug to make hot drinks. The room was serviced every day. It was a short walk to the Esplanade, and foreshore, which we really enjoyed. The airport is conveniently placed, and grocery stores are a short drive by car.

The internet provider failed our last night, which was NOT the fault of 201 Lake. The rest of our stay was very good, and we enjoyed our 3 nights in Cairns.

very easy and early check in provided, great location, very clean and friendly staff. Across the road from a pharmacy if you need any last minute items. Easy walk to the main beach, shops and restaurants. Very good value.

there was no milk in the bar fridge. I didn't realise till late and had to go out to a service station. I did not get a chance to tell anyone at reception, I'm sure this would have been resolved if there was someone at the desk at the time.

Our top-floor bedroom & bathroom were large, clean, quiet and quite well fitted out (though no couch). It was pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the city surrounds. It was easy to park our hire car in the underground parking area for no extra charge. We didn’t use the swimming pool, which looked attractive (though its floor has a stained colour in places)

The bathroom was large and clean but had an unpleasant smell. After our one-night stay we told the receptionist about it and that the little refrigerator badly needed defrosting, and they said they would look into that right away.

Location was great. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment nice and modern. Loved the white doona.

A nicer welcome from the man when we arrived would have been nice. Pool didn’t look inviting. What was all the yellow in the pool? The kitchen sink had no rubber to seal and was given the same one back. A light needed fixing as it was flashing. There was a broom but no dustpan. There was a power outage and as we were on 5th floor, thought there would be emergency lighting in the stairwell but it was pitch black

Clean, elegant kitchenette suite well-equipped and designed for a long stay in this tropical climate; ceiling fans, air con, balcony, tile floors, etc. The building is a nice size and emphasizes privacy. Owners are on site and involved. Lovely pool. Location 2 blocks from the Esplanade was just right for me, a walker.

WIFI was good but dropped out constantly and forced me to sign in every time I picked up one of my devices. Unacceptable since I had work to do from the suite.

Excellent Apartments near to Cairns city centre and the beach front. Being away from the city attractions meant it was quiet at night. Apartment was great, lots of room and all you would need. Nice friendly staff too. I would definitely stay here again, if we are ever back in Cairns.

It was nicely furnished with plenty of room to relax with a small balcony that gave your a nice view of the city lights.

Television reception to live TV wasn’t working, had to live stream, however access to fox was great.
